I mean technically Mexico is in North America so maybe a play on words? Or could be similar to How in another universe there's captain Carter from Britian so maybe there's a captain mexico somewhere
Sometimes cosplayers like to flex their creativity. Sometimes we cosplay as characters that don’t actually exist… as a Bowsette cosplayer, she is literally a concept the internet made up. Me being her isn’t any less valid because she’s not featured in Mario games. 🤷♀️ just let people enjoy things.
