Hi both, to help with the phone situation, I have my Garmin connected to my phone all day so when I'm exercising, I don't need my phone close by because if I get a notification or call, the watch will tell me! Really helpful for me to leave my phone alone!

Parents did manage before mobile phones existed. You could go shopping and didn't need to keep looking at your phone.
