Very nice work. I've gone crazy for AC over the last few months and have now ordered a few of the AC4 gen kits, including the Aaliyah (Supplice Op. version). I will probably save that one for last as it's my favorite design but also looks to be the most complicated to build.
Thanks man, Yea definitely pre order the reprinted ones in 2024, 4 of em in total. Aaliyah OP version is more or less the same with this one I made, difference is it has a few more weapon attachments in both shoulders 😁
Seriously they need to reprint these kits with the upcoming ac6. I've been trying to get my hands on one for a while now, if the damn price due to their rarity doesn't kill me, the shipping cost will
Koto is reprinting 3 of the older kits, due out jan ‘24. White glint, Gaea, and malicious if you haven’t pre ordered them yet 😅 Hopefully more will come.
It’s just easier to glue it 😅 Zero chance of paint bleeding in masking failures too. In such a tight enclosure if you spray paint inside the enclosure you’ll get paint particles bouncing around surfaces, they also often end up sticking on surfaces. These results in rough textures which I don’t really like.
Between an HG and an MG. Since it has no inner frames, but it has a high number of parts. For snap fit builders, it’s not as good as recent years gunpla. Visible seamlines and not very color accurate. For painters it’s a nice model kit, shouldn’t have any trouble building one. Very solid, although need to be careful posing since lots of thin parts but that’s more to the original design than the kit itself. Some parts need to be cemented so you won’t loose it and for solidness. Not a problem for painters, could be for snap fitters. In the end I think it’s for intermediate builders/painters and less for new straight build snap fit builders.
Such a great job restoring this guy !
Thanks!

@@casualplamo Great news indeed, but Supplice will be reprinted instead of White Glint
5:30 why not just mask the vent? it doesn't seem to be too hard to mask
