this guy makes the most original music since forever.. i cant understand why he isnt literally a superstar, back in the 70s or 80s he would have been, but the music industry is a bit wierd nowadays and people just listen to their own genre and dont break out enough. AWOLNATION is pretty much the only band on modern radio that I can actually listen to. All the other bands that they're playing recently makes me want to punch a clown in the face.
megacoolpeoples They're all over the local radio station where I live. It's a Alternative station. I don't listen to it anymore though, since they changed genres to be more of a "Best Current Hits" station. It used to be a lot of heavy metal/metalcore/nu metal, which is what I tend to listen to. This is why I can listen to AWOLNATION, since they're actually relatively somewhat close to what I listen to. It's also why I want to punch a clown if it's any other song, since this station plays a lot of Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Congos, etc. ....I tend to rant when it comes to this subject. This radio station has disappointed me so much though.

nitrinate nope. It was all recorded in one take. I was one of the talents in the video. You see me at the end of the tunnel. We had only two days, and I am more of an actor than dancer so to get this all done within that time frame was quite impressive.
To everyone saying "I miss the old sound of AWOLNATION", you clearly didn't listen to Megalithic Symphony in it's entirety. Hollow Moon could easily have fit right in among other tracks on that album, like "Not Your Fault", "Wake Up", or "Guilty Filthy Soul". Personally I love this song and am now even more excited for RUN.
I went to see awol on the 27 of March and I was on the floor. When he came out I was just in awe. My mouth was open and I was barely breathing. I was so amazing. In my opinion, AWOLNATION completely killed it. They were SO much better than fallout boy. Fob was a really pitchy but they put on a good show. But AWOLNATION was raw and wasn't flashy. They stuck to making good music. ❤️
I totally agree, all those pop stars wear flashy outfits, while bands that play GOOD music don't put women in flashy outfits. I really hate it when they DO do that, since it sorta insults women and proves that they are sort of desperate to sell music. l-/

I remember coming home from 4th grade and listening to this album all night until I fell asleep it brings back so many memories. AWOLNATION is probably one of the greatest alternative musicians of all time. So under appreciated.
Aaron Bruno has seriously evolved with awolnation rather then his other bands, he's taken off in my opinion, from sail and kill your heroes and not your fault to hollow moon, I am, and woman woman. He's a great artist. Can't wait for the next project or album he comes out with!

I feel like I'm the only person that truly appreciates the work that went into filming this music video. The fact that the whole video was done in one cut is amazing. With the amount of choreography in this video its hard to pull it off all in one go. One mistake and you gotta restart.

I can assure you mate, that was no cut. We had to run from place to place expediently to be ready for the camera and tripped many times to get it. It was one take but it did take 20 or so of those one takes to get one that looked solid

at the first glance, i didn't know how deep this music was, but after hearing to her more and more it became clear to me, in the first part, he is referring to a new person, like he is trusting the person, and complaining about his life, and how the other people use him, take advantage of him. I like it! I've been trying interpret this song but can't seem to figure it out. I agree, it seems to be about being taken advantage of and sort of coming into your own. I think it's kind of like 'Sail' in that way - it seems to me like a feeling of something external making you feel not good enough. So it's like finding a way to rise above that and do the best you personally can. That's how I take it, anyway. I think that might be why the song was first to be released, it has a similar element while being completely different. Your English is fine by the way :)

I find this song fascinating. No heavy instrumentation, but suddenly he comes in with those screamed vocals toward the end and somehow it works. Makes the song all the more badass-sounding lol. I don't listen to it anymore though, since they changed genres to be more of a "Best Current Hits" station. It used to be a lot of heavy metal/metalcore/nu metal, which is what I tend to listen to. This is why I can listen to AWOLNATION, since they're actually relatively somewhat close to what I listen to. It's also why I want to punch a clown if it's any other song, since this station plays a lot of Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Congos, etc.
....I tend to rant when it comes to this subject. This radio station has disappointed me so much though.

To everyone saying "I miss the old sound of AWOLNATION", you clearly didn't listen to Megalithic Symphony in it's entirety. Hollow Moon could easily have fit right in among other tracks on that album, like "Not Your Fault", "Wake Up", or "Guilty Filthy Soul". Personally I love this song and am now even more excited for RUN.

I went to see awol on the 27 of March and I was on the floor. When he came out I was just in awe. My mouth was open and I was barely breathing. I was so amazing. In my opinion, AWOLNATION completely killed it. They were SO much better than fallout boy. Fob was a really pitchy but they put on a good show. But AWOLNATION was raw and wasn't flashy. They stuck to making good music. ❤️

I remember coming home from 4th grade and listening to this album all night until I fell asleep it brings back so many memories. AWOLNATION is probably one of the greatest alternative musicians of all time. So under appreciated.
Aaron Bruno has seriously evolved with awolnation rather then his other bands, he's taken off in my opinion, from sail and kill your heroes and not your fault to hollow moon, I am, and woman woman.
He's a great artist. Can't wait for the next project or album he comes out with!

at the first glance, i didn't know how deep this music was, but after hearing to her more and more it became clear to me, in the first part, he is referring to a new person, like he is trusting the person, and complaining about his life, and how the other people use him, take advantage of him. So he will make a deal with the bad wolf ( bad people around him ) so the bad wolf dont bite no more ( so they don't use him/mistreat anymore) at the second part, " (You're all still here) " the bad people have not leave him yet, but he will get them out of his life. and he has made a mistake , of letting the people enter his life and ger far away from them (Hollow Moon) ... and the last part he accepted that his whole lifetime he was getting used ...and when he at least wanted those bad people to appear , they came, so he's seeing them like friends of him ( because its almost every friend of him) and the part "Hey, you know I'll run away for a couple years" he's just using it to prove it...and then, he's getting mad and want to burrow away.....

I like it! I've been trying interpret this song but can't seem to figure it out. I agree, it seems to be about being taken advantage of and sort of coming into your own. I think it's kind of like 'Sail' in that way - it seems to me like a feeling of something external making you feel not good enough. So it's like finding a way to rise above that and do the best you personally can. That's how I take it, anyway. I think that might be why the song was first to be released, it has a similar element while being completely different. Your English is fine by the way :)
