hi, it is impossible to get a special guest AND a raised foil, its either or, never both. i have seen like 50 box opening, never seen a box have both..so when u have the special guest, u can just bury all hope ;)
Is it actually “impossible” or just statistically improbable? Past the commons and uncommons, each slot in the pack has percentages for what can be in that slot. While the percentages of pulling a raised foil and special guest are individually very low thus making it especially unlikely to pull both in the same box, I don’t know if it’s actually impossible.
@@WildcatMTG I've also been scouring yt for BLB openings (seen maybe 30-40) and have never seen more than one SG or raised foil... in my personal experience, I've opened 8 cbbs, 5 of them had a raised only, one had a special guest only and two had neither. This is just my anecdotal experience so no strong conclusion but if it can happen it must be very rare.
Oh, to be clear I’m definitely not committing to the idea that it can happen. But looking at the pack contents on wizards site it says Special Guests appear 3.07% of the time in a slot and raised foil anime 3.66% in that same slot. So the idea of pulling a 1:33 packs card and a 1:27 packs card in the same 12 pack box seems pretty rough but the way that also reads to me is “theoretically possible.”
@@WildcatMTG well.. im pretty much always careful with those % chance they publish, specially since the dominaria remastered serialized % chance they oficially announced. that was so off.. dear lord ;) there were serialized cards in almost every other collector box it seemed, never seen this in any other product. i mean lost cavern had multiple special guests in many boxes, but idk if they used the same pattern here. as far as i have seen, they did not, maybe the raied foil inclusion messes with the % chance of anything else?

Another sweet battle. It seems like Collector packs are where it's at for this set.
My single play box I opened was good but overall, I tend to agree. The play boxes seem to fall a little flat this time around.
Super sweet box Wild Cat. A bit of a ‘God box’ in terms of the hit creative critters mate! Believe it or not I pulled 2 of those foil swords of fire and ice in back to back collector boxes. One in each. I was a bit disappointed to get a second copy instead of a raised foil, but I really should not be. The card art is awesome! 😊
Yeah, given that it’s a sword of fire and ice, I don’t think you can be mad about that! Still an incredibly good card and difficult to pull.
I wonder too if the sword will hold value better than most of the raised foils? Equally as rare to pull by the looks of

So can someone tell me what the art is on Season of the Burrow borderless? Is that a snout of a large animal trying to eat them that's at the top of the card? Idk, when I really examine it, it starts to look like all sorts of different things 🤷♂️
Because it’s “burrow” that card looks like some cute animals hiding from a predator in a burrow. But they could have gone for the funny and had it be “season of the burro” with a picture of a donkey.

Can someone tell me how much a foil TTC winter borderless is going for in America?
Foil winter TTC is the hardest rare to pull. There aren’t many around. So it’s going for a lot more than the others. For good reason
@@TheKevlarbe I poped one... but here in Brazil they aren't even selling at all.. I want to pass it along and I'll probably go to TCG market or some other reliable place to sell it... wanted to get an idea of how much to ask for
Foil winter TTC is going for about $70-$75 USD currently. Because the full art seasonal basic lands have different pull rates there seems to be a thought process that this applies to the three tree cities as well but it does not. The four Borderless seasons all have the same pull rates but the winter seems to be the most popular.
@@WildcatMTG That's something I didn't know! And I think many other also don't. Getting even $60,00 here would be a dream to sell this card for. There is only one listed in Brazillian 'tcg' (ligamagic) for R$350,00 (~ $63,00).
If it's possible to ship from here that's something I'm possibly doing
