At approximately 1041: The red octagon valve and the lever on the steering column serve different purposes and that is not how you want to set it up in-game. If you pull the lever on the steering column down and apply the foot brake, it will apply more air to the TA and will release (move back up) as foot pedal is applied. For the red octagon valve, you would push it in (to charge TA axles only) to do a tug test.
I agree. The game only registers it the way i set it up though. At least for me that's the case. I've tried setting it up the way it's supposed to be but it still only recognize the button a certain way. Could be different now. I'll have to check
@@dieselsmokegaming I thought about that after I laid down for the night. They would have to code an option to apply TA axles only. It works adequately in-game, but it would wear me out to see the lever move. I had 3 valves in the early 1970's White 4000 I drove. The blue valve is no more. Had the chrome Roadranger RTO-12513 13-speed in it. I still get lost in the good ole days.
I agree! I definitely could not go back to using the keyboard. A good sim box and a gear shifter are must haves, in my opinion, and of course a nice wheel setup also.
I have a question about the toggle switches for axles and diff lock, you say toggle up or down, can you have both do seperate things? so up as one fucntion and down as another or will it count as the same "button"? For example, you set it to toggle down, but in game if you toggle up does it still work as though you pressed down as that is how you set it or does it do nothing as though it is not assigned? I hope this was clear enough haha
That is a good question. I think it will count as the same button. For example down would toggle the diff lock on and up will toggle if off. But I have not tried to set them as different functions. I will do that this evening and see if it works. I'll get back to you on it.
The game will only recognize the toggle as one button, so you aren't able to have 2 different functions for 1 toggle. But If you don't use drop axles, you can program that button to something else that you want. You can program any of the buttons to do anything you want them to do, they don't have to be what is written on the button box. There is also 2 accessory buttons above the key switch that can be programmed to anything you want.
It would depend on whether he does convoys with his friends or not. I play by myself, so I don't need one, but if he's going to play with other people, it would be a cool add-on for him.
That's awesome! I have been thinking about trying the Tobii eye tracker, I'm currently using the Track IR 5. My next purchase is probably going to be the Tobii eye tracker to compare which one works better.
The steering wheels I use come with the trucks I run. It's the Rollin 389 mod. You can get it from just about any mod website. They all tilt automatically when you turn the ignition on. Thanks for watching buddy!
Has it started to acted up yet? The sim panels flex ultimate box was trash! Buttons wouldn’t work half the time and was random buttons at any given time. Definitely wasn’t worth the $200.
Dude I could listen to you talk all day long brother ! Love your voice man... smooth as silk
Appreciate that buddy!
Agree!!

Back when things were built right and to last.

Thanks buddy! I appreciate it!

Ordered one thanks to your vid!
Awesome! I think you will be happy with it!
I'm looking at getting one of these for partner, he's a big ets 2 fan! Would you recommend with or without cb communications? Thank you 🙏

What truck? I love how the steering wheel moves
It's the Rollin 389 mod. You can find it on just about any mod website. There are free and paid versions.
Thanks for making this video!
Question what is the drop axle for?
You're welcome! The drop axle is for heavy loads. It distributes the weight more between your tires.
Thank you very much! Good job! Very realistic.
You're welcome! Thank you!
I bought myself a shifter and a sim box, thank you very much! I also ordered a Tobii eye tracking device. Have you tried such a device?

Can you use for ets i love this panel
Yes, it works with ets too.
@@dieselsmokegaming but it is expensive €250,= to buy it!!!
Yes, it is expensive. I saved up for a little while to buy it. It definitely makes the game more realistic to play.
@@ditterssubaruyou can make you own it's easy and cheaper
Yes, that is definitely an option. I may try that one day and make a fully custom one.
What steering wheel mod do you use

It's still working like the day I got it out of the box. I haven't had any issues with it so far.
