Marriages are journeys, and they are not without obstacles. It's meant to be a growing journey over time that gives God the glory for your story. I'm always thinking of some new idea or way to do something. I have to use a To Do app on my phone just to keep myself on track, and even then I don't always follow it. I try, but it's more of a guide at times.

My opinion as a parent is if you are able to not work for a bit and still financially be ok, you should take time off. It’s such a unique situation you’re in. Not working around a schedule is the perfect time to reconnect with your kids. They are different little people from when you last lived with them. Get to know them and enjoy that bonding time.
Dez, there's a difference between a man "not working" and a man not working but retired and still getting an income, which is what you are. So, if you don't want to work and reconnect with your children, do it!!! You've earned the right to choose. 👍
All I can say is that continue being your authentic self and the beauty about life is that we all make mistakes but the fact that you can see your own mistake in whatever area that is and you’re trying to make it better. The best thing any couple can do is to have support from friends, family, and even a therapist who genuinely wants the marriage to not just survive but thrive. Life will happen in marriages. You will have ups and downs. You will have great times and times of depression. You will go through life cycles that will challenge you and help you grow. But throughout the marriage, it's imperative to constantly and consistently check in, communicate, and make sure you're in alignment with each other. Whatever happens moving forward with you and Kiara or you and Zykea only you guys know. I really don’t watch her I’m just saying both parties are at fault but sometimes you have to separate in order to change. It’s not easy dealing with a person who has been in the military because how their mindset changed. I know a friend who was in the military he came home and wasn’t the same person because of the things he seen and went through. Its great that you can be there for your kids. However to say that Kiara needs the help I disagree. She has two school age kids, she doesn't work a nine-to-five how could she need a break? She was living next door to her sister for two+ years, had her mom and dad around. She needs to focus on getting a GED, some college courses, and then get a real job. I raised three daughters, one of whom had Autism and epilepsy and I worked a full-time job. No family, it wasn't easy, but it got done. Just focus on getting reconnected to your kids again and getting your own olace. We both served this country, and we earned the perks of all that has to offer. You got this Dez, just don't let your desire to be with your kids be a crutch for not getting your goals and dreams for yourself be unmet You are now in control and the one that will be in your own way. #BattleBuddy4Life

I really don’t watch her I’m just saying both parties are at fault but sometimes you have to separate in order to change. It’s not easy dealing with a person who has been in the military because how their mindset changed. I know a friend who was in the military he came home and wasn’t the same person because of the things he seen and went through. People judge you because at the time they only heard one side of the story but people shouldn’t put personal matters on RUclips or on social media. Wish the best of luck to you all

We all go into marriage that it's forever. At times in life, things happen, and it all changes. The circumstances differ with all of us. In the end, when you supported one another by putting the children first. Thats what's matter. When you both can come together and be the best parents as possible..... That speaks volumes. What matters is the love the children receive and support. The most important thing is they see their mom and dad coming together. That shows them unconditional love!!!!!! Its great that you can be there for your kids. However to say that Kiara needs the help I disagree. She has two school age kids, she doesn't work a nine-to-five how could she need a break? She was living next door to her sister for two+ years, had her mom and dad around. She needs to focus on getting a GED, some college courses, and then get a real job. I raised three daughters, one of whom had Autism and epilepsy and I worked a full-time job. No family, it wasn't easy, but it got done. Just focus on getting reconnected to your kids again and getting your own olace. We both served this country, and we earned the perks of all that has to offer. You got this Dez, just don't let your desire to be with your kids be a crutch for not getting your goals and dreams for yourself be unmet You are now in control and the one that will be in your own way. #BattleBuddy4Life
