One of the greatest ever. From wrestler, to promoter, to manager, Robert Fuller has always been able to reinvent himself and remold his style to stay relevant. An amazing storyteller. Thanks for this interview, Hannibal!
I gotta say he comes off as the classic, genteel Southern Gentleman. The opening shot of him smiling with his hands locked on the counter, proud as can be of his showplace decorated with with memories of his career is just heart warming. Its good to see someone who is proud of his life's labor. This interview was a pleasure to watch and I'm going to go back and search out much more of he and his family's career to better appreciate their contribution. Thank you so much Hannibal!
I would watch wcw Saturday and Sunday night with my grandma . Col. Robert Parker was my absolute favorite to watch my gram watch ! It was hilarious he would wind her up so much she would start talking shit to the tv ! When someone would kick his ass she would start yelling and fall out her chair . Between him and heel Nature boy it would leave me and my cousin in tears ! Thank you Mr Fuller you made my teenage years with my grandma great 😂 just writing this thinking about it is make me laugh 👍🏻
It’s a good thing your grandma didn’t see his cock as it might of given her a heart attack because from ever wrestler who talks about him in shoot interviews they always talk about just how big his cock is. Even 2 Cold Scorpio said Robert Fuller had a cock even bigger than his!
Robert & Ron Fuller and Jimmy Golden My Favorite Wrestling Family I started watching them in 1979 I’m 50 Yrs old now Southeastern Wrestling Was The Best Charlie Plat was great too great memories
Yep. Also - Jacques Rougeaux, Joe LeDuc, Adrian Street, Austin Idol, Bullet Bob, who else? Rick Flair was the greatest heel during those days to come thru and stir it all up.
One of the all time greats from my childhood. He and his brother Ron and his cousin Jimmy could put on some great matches. The first card i went to was a south eastern championship wrestling card.
Thanks for the great interview. Col was always my favorite manager. I was one that always liked the "good guys" when I was young but there was always something about him that drew me towards liking everything he did. Thanks again. This one is the top of my top 5 interviews you have done. So far. Really would like to see you do a shoot interview with Steve Lombardi. He has to have a ton of good ol backstage stories.
I loved and hated his WCW character. Perfect blend of humor and heel. I look back at how much I enjoyed it and I tell myself “what a freaking mark I was”. He is great!
The Terry Funk story from Knoxville starting around 1:16:00 is the best part-reminds us of what the business used to be able to create, just between the boys and the crowd.
Man I be listening to Ron Fuller's Stud cast. I didn't even fucking know these two were brothers til recently 🤦🏻♂️. But both are tremendous storytellers. I can only imagine what a podcast of just Rob and Ron telling stories would be like
Luscious Robert Fuller & Gorgeous Jimmy Golden! The Stud Stable was my favorite heel tag team when they were in CWF. I remember them having the ring entrance music "All Hells Breaking Loose" by Kiss. This was when I started pulling for them & I thought they were so cool.
Ron,robert, buddy, and Jimmy Holden my favorite wrestlers wwe should put all 4 in the hall of fame, watched them from late 60,s through 70,s and 80,s if you talk about wrestling the welch and fields name should be at the top of the list
A lot don’t know it but Robert was as good a wrestler and many times better than any name you can mention. He was strictly main event. I would say as good as any Funk or Briscoe or Race.
It's on our Patreon.com/TheHannibalTV site for our subscribers first because they help fund the interviews. It will probably be up on RUclips in another month or so.
Knoxville was hot when Ron had Southeast championship wrestling here........ And the hot women were out in force for every show......... Good ole Rob managed SCSA back in the day........
DANNY DAVIS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED WRESTLER IN THE BUSSINESS HE HELPED MAKE HULK HOGAN, STEVE AUSTIN, JOHN CENA, RANDY ORTON, BROCK LESNER, BATISTA, NICOLAS DINSMORE, LYLE DOUG BASHAM, PAUL WRIGHT AKA THE BIG SHOW WENT TO OVW TO GET HIS WIND BACK AND GET IN BETTER RING SHAPE. BIG SHOW WOULD WORK SO HARD IN THE RING HE WOULD HAVE TO RUN OUT BACK OF THE DAVIS ARENA AND THROW UP NEEDLESS TO SAY HE GOT IN GREAT RING SHAPE. BIG SHOW WENT OUT AND BOUGHT THE BOYS AN AIR CONDITIONING UNIT FOR THE LOCKER ROOM. MARK HENRY WENT TO OVW AFTER AN INJURY AND CREDIT'S DANNY DAVIS AND OVW FOR HIS GETTING HIM BACK TO THE WWE AND MUCH LIKE BIG SHOW MARK HENRY BOUGHT THE BOY'S OF OVW A FAN AS IT WAS OFTEN STIFLING IN THE ARENA...... DANNY DAVIS IS NOT RETIRED AN LIVING IN FLORIDA WITH HIS WIFE. WHO KNEW YOU COULD RETIRE FROM THE WRESTLING BUSSINESS WITHOUT BEING JOHN CENA OR SPENDING YOUR WHOLE CAREER IN THE WWE.

Bobby Heenen and Colonel Robert Parker give amazing interviews and were possibly the 2 greatest all time managers

Good Interview Hannibal. Robert Fuller had some legendary matches in Evansville, IN every Wednesday night.
Yes I was actually there last year. Really liked the town.
I loved and hated his WCW character. Perfect blend of humor and heel. I look back at how much I enjoyed it and I tell myself “what a freaking mark I was”. He is great!

Ron and Rob fuller are so good at telling stories and fantastic historians of wrestling.
I could listen to the Fuller brothers tell stories all day
Robert Fuller always has great stories. Great interview!
Fantastic storyteller. He's really animated.
Salute , Colonel 🎃👻
Grew up watching the Fuller/Welch family rasslin', even watching the W Tn family promotion in the 70s.
Robert Fuller a great technical wrestler who could brawl and should be in the WWE hall of fame him and his entire family.
Ikr
I believe the Col could still get it done. He looks great still.
Man I be listening to Ron Fuller's Stud cast. I didn't even fucking know these two were brothers til recently 🤦🏻♂️. But both are tremendous storytellers. I can only imagine what a podcast of just Rob and Ron telling stories would be like

Did Hannibal ask Fuller about his “endowment”?
Is there a time stamp available?
"With these two guy you would start to hate New Zealand" great stuff!
I thought he was awesome as Col Robert Parker and Tennessee Lee. He looks great
A lot don’t know it but Robert was as good a wrestler and many times better than any name you can mention. He was strictly main event. I would say as good as any Funk or Briscoe or Race.

Stevie Ray says his brother and him came up with the gimmick and that the Colonel just followed them out, he wasn't supposed to be their manager....
Knoxville was hot when Ron had Southeast championship wrestling here........ And the hot women were out in force for every show......... Good ole Rob managed SCSA back in the day........
