Hello Patric, I used Vallejo Earth Effects for dioramas. It comes in lots of colours and can be used as a filler around the bases. I wish I tried it years ago!
I like how you don't use washes 😀. I find they take a nice paint job and kill the contrast and make the figure look dirty like it's been on a binge smoking rock behind a dumpster for four days straight till it ran out of money cuz he smoked his whole welfare cheque. Anyways I don't mind washes if they're carefully positioned into the creases or folds or used as a pin was/black lining on a Space Marine for example. Whenever I see somebody slop wash all over a figure on a painting video I scream "no what are you doing!"
I am also working on SS infantry. Your idea of combining both spring and autumn oak leaf into pea dot is great. Keep up the video's, quite enjoy them!
Glad the video has been useful Erwin. There are more vids on the way too. Happy painting!
Well put together guide FrankI really enjoy your colour selection! Your reasoning and eye for making them look right at the table is inspiring!
Hope it was worth the wait Petter! Maybe see your ones soon.
Just amazing! I got my first miniatures a few days ago, hard to believe that these are really 15mm FoW Models because they are really really smal
Thanks! I hope you enjoy painting yours!
Looking good Frank
Thanks Michael. I know your own SS passes muster with OberGruppenfuhrercontrolfreak Grant!

Your SS look awesome. Ask what did you use for the base?
