In this video we are unboxing and reviewing what I feel to be the BEST selfie stick / tripod for a phone / small camera on Amazon. I have had one for over a year, and since I stepped on the leg (Badly) I broke my old one, so for $23 I grabbed a new one (After getting 35 Videos Shot on the old one), and figured why not share with you guys what I love about it!!

Hi, and thank you for the great video on this tripod. I just received mine today via Amazon and it’s awesome. I literally figured out how it all works in less than 5 minutes, it’s THAT user friendly! I’m just still trying to figure out this remote and how to configure the zoom in & out buttons...that would be great if we could make use of that option!

I just got mine now 2022, but the remote has a battery not an USB cord. Is this the new version?
My ass going to order one this week, looks like best all around tripod/stick I’ve seen.

Mine didn't come with the mirror, instruction book or a USB charger for the remote. Weird. Will ask for this or a replacement.

I received this item yesterday and used it once. There is a flaw on the ¼" screw part that mounts the phone holder. Instead of a once piece, it was 2 pieces attached together with 4 tiny screws. Today I found that it was unusable because all 4 screws felt off. I found 3 of the 4 screws but couldn't put them back because the threads were too loose. This was just after one use.
Definitely a bummer! One of the two I ordered is still good for me, been almost 2 years I think. My first one I stepped on… thanks for checking out the video!

I have one of these and a few other Bluetooth remotes, quick question if you don’t mind, do these Bluetooth remotes disable your keyboard on your iPhone? All of them do that to mine. Is there a setting to avoid that?

I noticed that too! I was trying to type and the keyboard wasn’t popping up as it normally would. I powered off the remote and all was fine. Not sure how to get around that 🤔
Hopefully it’s something Apple can provide via update on their end, to not identify these types of devices in the same category as keyboards.
I bought this on the reviews and the tripod itself is great but the remote wouldn’t pair with my iPhone xs max...I don’t know if I got a lemon or what...I guess it still does what I got it for but really liked the remote aspect but it was fairly cheap so eh...😉. Blessings and take care. 🇺🇸
To be honest I lost the remote shortly after this video... never looked back! 😂 no doubt it would be nice to have but I love the tripod either way! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated!
FYI you can control the iPhone camera from your Apple watch if you have one.

Was it shot in 4K ??
I've seen the channel Yankee in the South, Wow his videos are Crystal Clear, he uses a Cannon D9 .....but they are about $2000 here in England.
Not sure how much they are in the US
Great stuff!! I shot that one on a XR and it was in 1080p 60fps and then I edit in LumaFusion on iOS.
Now I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it’s AMAZING, but honestly the XR shot great video. I had the iPhone 8 Plus before the XR and I was always happy wit the quality.
In my opinion, no reason to buy camera equipment to start RUclips. I’ve never shot a single video clip with anything other than an iphone. And I don’t use mics either.

I think you said you are using a Max Pro now, Wow if I remember right when I was checking out iPhones a few weeks back here in England they were Top of the range iPhones!
They are Amazing!
But that’s what you would expect from something with a price tag of £1500 ....I guess that’s would be about $2000
Not sure how much they are in the US, they maybe a bit cheaper ....most things are!
I get you’re point about no one needing a SSLR camera these days because the cameras on iPhones Etc are so good, I agree but at the same time those cameras and videos equipment are Specifically for shooting video Etc.
Not sure if you have ever seen a guy from Tennessee, his channel is called Yankee in the South.
Check out his videos, his channel is really cool, really interesting videos from Gutlinbugh , Pigeon Forge area of Tennessee.
I love all the different areas he goes to restaurants, parks Etc.
But check out how Crystal Clear his videos are, the video is Fantastic!
I asked him what he uses to shoot video with, he uses a Cannon D9 .....SSLR
I checked out the price here in the UK, I think they were about £1400 .....something like that, pushing $2000
So No wonder his videos are Crystal Clear!

Does it matter what phone you have I didn't think it does I don't think it does matter but I can't seem to figure out how to place my phone in the holder at the top
It works with my 11 pro max, no issues so far - that’s a pretty large device. I can’t speak for every device unfortunately, but I assume you should be ok. The top should have a long bolt that unscrews to loosen the grip - phone goes in horizontally.

What is the biggest size phone that it will fit
Not totally sure but I used both a XR and a 11 Pro Max with it, and the 11 had an Otterbox some of the times. That was a tight fit, but it worked.
How do we mount the phone in this thing vertically?
Put it in the same way as you would horizontally, and then us the side to side tilt, loosen and twist. Hard to explain in text!! 😂 Good luck, it definitely works in vertical, I use it that way all the time!

Attach your phone in the normal horizontal position and screw it onto the stick. Tighten it.
Just below your phone, there is a thumbscrew knob. Loosen it counter-clockwise.
Gently move the camera down. Set the angle to your desire.
Tighten the thumbscrew clockwise and you are all set.
Easy-peezy.
I am thinking about purchasing. Will it hold my phone both vertically and horizontal?

I have an Otter Box tough case on my iphone 11...will it still fit on the clamp of this product?

Just got mine. Love it. The photos come out kind of grainy when using the remote control. However, the videos comes out great.

Help I’m trying to connect my Bluetooth remote with the FUGETEX tripod device. Every time I unplug it is not connected it connects while in the wall on the USB cord but that does me no good LOL I left it plugged up for over an hour.I try to reach out to the support number in the instruction paper that came with it but due to the coronavirus they are not in taking support LOL

Good selfie stick only but bad tripod, unstable under slight wind condition. If there is slight windy outdoor, don't use it as tripod! cus the short legs are wobbly unstable at outdoor uneven surface! Mine fall a few times....
how is it holding up?
I’m on my 2nd one now, the first one broke because I stepped on it when it fell out of my pack, definitely is sturdy but isn’t going to take a persons weight. The 2nd one I’ve had for atleast a year
Have you tried doing FaceTime with it? Does it become top heavy and fall over?
No issues using FaceTime at all! I still use this regularly
Can't use it. Facebook Live will turn you sideways if you try to use this that way. The phone holder does not allow it to go verticle
I record vertical with mine, maybe it’s a different model?
Its wobbling all over the place when fully extended.
If you’re referring to the footage, this was shot on an iPhone XR and some of it with the front facing camera so the quality is no doubt sub-par. It’s also not a gimbal..

At the time I only had 1 iphone, which I recorded the video with so there wasn't a way for me to show it installed on the selfie stick unfortunately. Thanks for watching

Is it waterproof?
No I do not believe so - as far as the little Bluetooth button that controls the shutter on your phone. As as far as the tripod, mine has been in the rain and doesn’t show any signs of failure due to water. Eventually the little steel rivers would probably rust with extended exposure to water I’m sure.
