This is so beautiful! I love Liminal 11 and have a couple of their tarot decks and the ink fezwright books! I’ll definitely be picking this up at some point 🥰
... I really hate having to wait so long for this deck ...
Fell in love back in July (when Simon did a walkthru on his YT channel "The Hermit's Cave").
There's so much to love about the deck ... but actually ... to me there is some ancestral/family energy in there and many other connections.
Some examples:
Sickle: A family heirloom. My great grandfather forged it.
Hops: My brother is growing it and using it for brewing.
Willow: Sometimes using it's bark as a painkiller (incense or chewing it).
Blackthorn/Sloe: My 1st cousin once removed made wonderful juice out of the fruits.
Elderberry: Linked to her as well ... and to my my grandmother, sister in law and mother. And ... where I grew up every farm had it's own Elderberry (for protection?). Some whisper it's the tree of the crone godess.
Rowan: It's Irish name is the name of my god son.
Mistletoe (and mistle leaf): My favourite tea.
Poppy and Cornflower: Sings of summer, harvest time and mortality ... in my childhood.
... I also like the link to the seasons and the liminal times (dusk & dawn).
There is so much to connect to with this deck. It's design and subtle color lend to childhood connections for me. My grandparents were farmers and lived off the land, so the remedies and meals, hot summer days and cool fall weather usually corresponded with planting and harvesting.

This is the 3rd preview I watched...and liminal 11 is killing it with the limited edition boxes! Just the tins are really special, but a tiny exclusive oracle? Really cool.
Right?!? I was flipping through Instagram and saw it and I was like “OMG I have to tell everyone about this” 😆😆 That Citadel deck is sooo intriguing!!

I can't wait to get this deck. I plan to use it with The Pacific Northwest Tarot. Beautiful cards! And what an interesting system.
Also, I grew up in the Mojave desert and oleander is very prevalent there. I grew up with oleander bushes in our yard and yep, every kid in our area were taught very early on... STAY AWAY FROM THE OLEANDER BUSHES! lol
So thankful for these lessons!

I ordered the limited edition, which is kind of strange because I really don't use oracles much and am not much into botanicals. But I don't have a Liminal 11 deck--love the quality of the cards and packaging but just haven't seen "the" deck that moved me. But I saw all the limited edition of this deck offered and ordered it to have a Liminal 11 deck. I also wish there were keywords because having to constantly look up meanings of oracle cards seems tedious. Anyway, we'll see what I think when I get it! Thanks for the walkthrough, Dani!

I love this deck! I got a mass edition so may I ask something: I'm interested in the citadel deck. Do the gold foils in the cards peel off a lot? I am a rough shuffler so I'm afraid that the foils will come off too much.
I haven’t had any peeling, but I also haven’t tried the new mass-market deck yet. I should be getting a copy of the new citidel soon.

Wow! That aconite dawn reading felt made for me right now. : ) I wonder how pervasive Greek mythology is throughout the deck or if it was just pertinent for aconite? I hope you come back and show us the other Fez Inkwright books when you get them if they complement the deck at all.

For me, it seems like going between two separate guidebooks feels like it would be very clunky. I think I'd have preferred one single combined guidebook.
It would be great to have it all in One, but I’m assuming with their packaging it may not have worked 🤷♀️ idk but a big all encompassing book would be worth it!
Does anyone know the card stock thickness? I can’t find the gsm anywhere on the website.
I want to say it’s a 350 gsm, I think they use to use 400 but it was just too thick. I’m not 100% positive, though.
