Belter video! Hey man I’ve been watching your content for the last few months now. I am a new rider in the UK only on a Benelli BN125 but got the money and my eye on a dyna in black. Your content and your assertive and can do attitude that you preach on here is the reason that on my 37 birthday I decided to finally pick my self up from from my life falling apart a year ago and take control of my own life! My goal is to do my full direct access license in UK and get in the saddle of a Harley and start getting out there to biker meets, hog rides and charity events and hopefully get back into a community of like minded people. Anyways thank you for what you do and keep making content! Liam
I remember when semi trucks had split rims in the states... Those rims could blow the lock ring explosively off and become a 40lb projectile.. I never hang out next to semi trucks, I speed up and pass them in one go... Great video as always... Big thumbs up for the channel... 😎👍

Great vid and commentary … held my breath a couple of times while he lane split between trucks … has given me great insight for future riding. Thanks ☺️
Great vid Aymen. Great to see likemindedness when it comes to positioning, calculated manoeuvres etc its the survival ingredients learnt in time, however the road users we share the roads with today is so so different, good luck and stay safe out there all... 👊😎👊
I love the smooth and effortless riding while having full situational awareness- it is what the young ones need too learn, while being patient and cool - awesome vlog brother 👍
Just took my first long ride. From Indiana to South Carolina, almost 800 miles (1280km). Made it in one shot on the way there, took my sweet time (about 19 hrs). The way back, not so much. It was godawful for any rider, let alone a new rider like me. Rain for hours, heavy fog, and lots of traffic. I had to get through that first bit of nasty weather to get into a pocket between storms, from there it was smooth sailing, besides my wet ass and feet. Rain, fog, and heavy traffic on the interstate is not ideal. I was literally screaming into my helmet to deal with my fear and anxiety lol.
I ain't getting next to a big truck ever unless the lane in front of me is totally clear to pass the truck in case something happens I have the option to accelerate through. Also in a sharp corner I won't get next to a truck...
Great Vid. Yeh, the roads were designed for 130kph speeds, according to one of the Engineers that worked on it...... Gr8 tips, reasonings, examples. IMO, a must see, especially for younger riders, or those starting L8er in life. Live long to Ride👍👏🍻
'Jimmy' had a nice ride there. Its worth pointing out that different countries have different codes for over/undertaking and if 'Jimmy' tried riding like that in the UK he may well get a ticket. Undertaking in the UK is only permitted in certain circumstances. Still, we have lots of 'Jimmys' here in the UK too. Indeed, my own bike is sometimes ridden by 'Jimmy' in a similar spirited manner. Viva le Jimmy!
@@grantodaniel7053 yes, pretty much so. In the UK we drive on the left and the Highway Code says to overtake on the right. Undertaking is passing a vehicle on the left. Filtering is permitted so it’s okay to pass vehicles on the left and right but it had to be done safely ie not when traffic is moving at speed. It’s also okay to pass on the left if for example a multi lane highway is heavily congested and traffic is flowing at different speeds in different lanes. That more or less sums it up. I think it’s down to convention and in the UK drivers aren’t expecting to have vehicles overtaking them on the inside so they may react or do something stupid. Personally, I think our motorways are so congested it would be a good idea if they should start encouraging it.
Great Vid. I love riding and being warned of speed camera locations. That said, I rarely exceed the posted limit except to remove myself from bad positions i.e: alongside trucks and near 'angry' drivers. I also love filtering. That's the buzz.
Jimmy and I have similar riding styles, always good to stay a little faster than the majority of traffic, that way you only need to worry about the odd boy racer weaving through traffic.
How does your bike behaves in stop start traffic with the 475 cam ? I use that Monash freeway everyday to go to Fitzroy for work. Since i got my softail slim i have noticed most of people move aside for you to pass (Moses effect)... 😋
Good video, I try to do this but we can’t lane split, btw what bars do you have I looked at some like that but the center in between the bars seems to small?
Same, I had a Hurricane, then clean up. Then Wife wanted attention. Today, I got to go get lunch. A whole 7 miles on my Gixxer. I am a bit more aggressive in traffic but that is what my bike was designed for. The GSXR 750 is a jackass generator.

Sorry but his lane positioning at the earlier part of the vid is not the best, being on the right-hand side of the lane with on-coming traffic, not ideal if you have options and certainly not what Warrick Schuberg, who started Stay Upright, taught me back in the day during advanced rider training. Apart from that, great video. Yes, you gotta watch out for those drivers that drive their car as if they were riding a motorbike, weaving in and out moving traffic. In NSW, it's illegal to deliberately close or block the gap when a motorbike is lane splitting, luckily from my experience, wankers that do it when they see you coming are in the very small minority. Jimmy's scanning, planning and staying in total control - excellent.
