Why do people always have to immediately heroize some people and in the same breath demonize others? Without wanting anything bad for Anton here, but you don't know Anton's motives at all, just as you don't know the motives of the other RUclipsrs. With almost a million subscribers, Anton will certainly not give away the RUclips advertising revenue and that is also legitimate, since he also has a lot of work to do with it. But there are other RUclipsrs who make good videos and do a lot of work with them. Labeling this RUclips as not genuine is very conceited, if not to say characterless, since you cannot simply label all RUclips as dishonest.

If you have had anything nearly as traumatic maybe you could understand.

I know many scientists have a difficult time reconciling faith with science, but as someone who soaks up science content like a sponge, has worked in the natural history museum field, and yet believes wholeheartedly, I would love to sit with you, comfort you during this terrible time, and talk heart to heart. I know that your beloved son is now in a realm outside of time, bathed in perfect love and warmth, and yet only a breath away from us. i know you mean well with this, and this obviously wasn't your intention, but as someone who experienced a great loss only to have religious people use it as an opportunity to talk about themselves and their beliefs, i'd gently advise being a little careful about that in the future. phrases like "they're in a better place now" or "you'll see them again someday" tend to feel cruel or insulting to non-believers. there are many reasons for this and i don't wanna speak for anyone else, but for me it was because it wasn't about them and their feelings and their beliefs. i was in pain and it felt like they either just wanted to talk about themselves, or like they wanted to proselytize at the worst possible time. it wasn't their fault, really, it's just one of the things religion does to separate their followers from outsiders, but it had the exact opposite effect they intended. again, i know it's not what you meant and it's just a suggestion. i don't even know if anton believes in anything supernatural, so it's really not even about this specific comment. i just think it's something religious followers should know and usually don't. feel free to ignore me. but if you do want to know more or confirm that i'm not just talking out of my ass from a place of personal resentment, i'd suggest heading over to an atheist or agnostic or anti-theist online community and asking them how they feel about it. anyway, i mean no offense and thanks for listening.

Anton I checked SOHO on a daily basis for about a year around 2007-2008. The coronal MEs were not as intense as what you see in todays photo. Scary!Glad we aren't closer.
