- Sanjeev Sanyal, Member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, acknowledged emerging signals of a slowdown in the Indian economy but expressed confidence in the government’s fiscal and monetary capacity to address the challenge.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Sanyal noted that while high-frequency data suggests some deceleration, the tools to counteract it are well within reach. “We take these signals seriously,” Sanyal said, referring to the slowdown reflected in industrial output, core sectors, and auto sales. “But we have lots of space on both the fiscal and monetary sides to respond.”
When asked about the disparities in the economic performance of the states, he stated that while most of the southern states, western states like Gujarat and northern states like Haryana have done well post the liberalisation era, eastern states including Bihar and West Bihar have done poorly.

Hope Mamta is listening or she is too stubborn and determined to stick to her regressive policies /tyrannical rule.
Cut taxes, cut interest rates
If everything is known pl reduce the vegitable cost.
Not going to benefit India if we continue to produce crap goods. And don't reduce tarrifs on imports for materials to allow assembly of electronics in India. Oh, and manufacturing plants need to be able to source sterile water. These are the basics that India needs to solve before we can have such conversations.
It is good that R Rajan left India. Otherwise he would destroyed India with his policies like no manufacturing and concentrate only services which could have been a disaster. Each sector India should have a percentage of share then only if one side hit happens other side supports.
But India has to quickly rise to the occasion

Tarrif is only help picking a winner and a loser
USA need to impose Tariffs on every nation that imports from china to sell them in USA and impose similar tariffs on those nations that blocks US products with excessive duties and establish neutral trade terms as minimum
India can never take advantage because policy maker or politicians are clever, cunning but the population is not competitive, not hard working, therefore Not any policy works against China,
India machineries, drugs, and solar exports would have stopped.
