- Musician Zahara has recently made headlines for fighting back for what belongs to her. She was quoted as saying she has a legal team and plans to take action against her former recording label, in a dispute over royalties. She is now on the mend after an illness and is back to spreading her message of hope through music.
She elaborates on some of these challenges and lessons.

I wonder how different could things have turned out had Oskido not forgotten about the demo tape? Please SA don't let her go the Brenda, TK or Lebo route only to show up in your best garb to posthumously honour her. I once heard a rumour that some radio station doesn't play her music. I remember a 2011 interview on radio 2000 with Kenny Nkwashu that gave me goosebumps and hope for the future. To fast forward to this is an anti-climax.
