This is so helpful! I just got engaged and am completely new to the wedding planning process. This is so helpful in understanding how the process works and what to expect in terms of costs!
Yay!! I am so happy to have you and I’m so happy it has been helpful!! Be sure to check out my wedding planner too - it has all of the worksheets that you need to walk you through the whole process! The workbook + the videos on my channel will help you make sure you have all of your bases covered! Also, please let me know if you have any questions at all along the way!! xo Kyle
Definitely set a 20,000 budget before hand! My venue is all inclusive (tables, linens, lighting, food and basic wine) with our guest count it comes out to 10k, but we also cut back on a lot of things. No expensive transportation, no expensive rehearsal dinner, probably no favors etc
My wedding is coming up this December and I have booked everything, however I know there is certain things that I know I should have budgeted more on, but I was told that because it’s “short notice/not many months left” before my wedding, we freaked out and booked everything in 2 weeks. I live in CA (Glendale to be exact) and it’s bit pricey out here. I went to several venues and shockingly I booked a venue I never thought I could afford but it was the cheapest one out of many that I looked at. Anyhow, I did stick to my budget on my dress, makeup, and flowers. One thing I wanted to just suggest that maybe not many brides thought of, I am middle eastern and our traditional “bar/alcohol” set up is 1 bottle of wine, 2 choices of hard liquor per table and soft drinks that came with venue. That gives everyone an option and it’s not as hard on our pockets. I have 250 people attending and 22 tables at the venue, our pricing total for alcohol (wholesale) came to $2,300. Just a suggestion for brides who might be struggling to fit into their budget. Hope it helps! 😀
Can I ask the name of the venue in Glendale you found? I live in the valley too and it’s so hard to find affordable venues with good alcohol options. Much appreciated 🙏🏼
Every engaged couple needs to watch this before planning anything! I have a $30k budget and yes, it's a lot of money that goes by quickly if you're not paying attention. I was lucky to have found a sample wedding gown that I loved that didn't need much alterations. Venue was a place my fiance and I LOVED and thankfully was within our budget. Those little choices help a lot.
17:15 omg, I'm such a dork. I kept imagining 100 guests =100 invites. 😅 Of course, my friends' children don't need separate invites. Loving this advice!
I paid $12,000 for our venue and it was actually one of the cheaper ones. Everything else was like $20,000 😓 our wedding is not until next fall in 2023 so here I am hoping I can pull off our $25,000 budget (for 170 people, I have a big family)🤯 everything is so overly priced in Sacramento area. I love watching your videos, they are so helpful!
I’m having a $10k budget wedding & it’s coming w everything including videographer/photographer, catering, etc DIY everything.. I’d never spend $15k+ on a wedding.. more on a house
This is such an amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing your insight and experiences with us! It’s been so so helpful for my own wedding planning :)
This video is great. However, it doesn't really account for the number of guest attending the wedding. With this $25,000 wedding budget, what is your approximate guest count?
Hey Colette! I am assuming the average headcount of 150! But you could adjust to any headcount, you would just need to increase or decrease your per person catering, bar, rentals etc.
same here! planning a wedding for next Sept in Florida, and my sister told me to set budget at $26k - $25k; if we get to spend less than this, I'd be static

Love the idea of focusing on the sweetheart and head tables! Great tip ❤️ just subscribed.
So happy to have you!!! Let me know if you have anything specific you would like to see a video on or if you have any questions I can help you with 😊
Omg this video was EVERYTHING!!! I was definitely going to go out of budget 😫😫
Just pick a realistic budget from the beginning and be sure you track and adjust as you go! Then at least you won’t go over budget too bad 😉

Could you possibly link the companies for flowers? Love this video!
Hey Baylei! My 2 favs that I have used are Bloominous.com and Bouqs.com 💐
So how much do people actually spend on their wedding?
It’s so crazy to think of how quickly $25,000 disappears!
Right?!?! 🤯 It is so crazy!
Just awful 😞
$4k wedding venue? Sheesh where? LA venues are about $7-10k
QUESTION: Is this 25,000 dollars US?
How many guests does this cover?
? I’m wondering
