During the lockdown, permissions were given by the National Board for Wildlife, and 3000+ trees were cut for the following projects:
1. Double tracking of the railway line
2. Four-lane highway expansion
3. Laying of 400kv transmission line
Goa and its forests around Mollem National Park and Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary are in extreme danger.

Dear Friends, it's a very nice video. However, when we are fighting this battle to save our green and wildlife... please send your documents copies to international bodies.. like the United Nations and other organizations involved in fighting the climate change...that way we will get Support.

Did the Govt do anything about this deforestation....why are we not fighting for savings our Goa. The Arab countries have completed 40% Greenery drive...that's means Deserts are being converted to Forest , whereas the story is reverse in Goa.
