Speed King (StepManiaX Video)

More eurobeat means more chances for drifting, and this is the first one to really go all in on the drifting. Mostly.
In terms of creative goals, I really wanted to try some styles I hadn't attempted before. I always thought Auto Modellista looked pretty cool and should have been used as the basis for future car games, and it gave me a reason to get a little crazy with the compositing passes. I also thought this would be a good chance to give Cybertiger more room to shine as a character, in ways that I didn't imagine when starting this. Every time he shows up, he ends up with more animations than before, and just a little more personality. Having some unidentifiable conflict with another character is a great way to add some contrast that I think adds flavor that isn't normally there.
The ending was very much me running out of ideas in the best way possible. Thanks again to Bill for somehow being able to knock out the motion capture for this in one take.
