Didn't realise it was a race to the finish!! If someone needs to "hear" it fast, they might as well not bother. What is the point, if it isn't to immerse oneself in the words and incredible message of the scriptures. If someone is reading bani so fast that it renders all but meaningless, is that beadbi? Slow down .....what awaits you is ...well.....only the end.
For people who have years of abhyaas or intensity of abhyaas, doing Paath fast is just as Anand mei as doing it slow. The flow of time isn't the same for everyone. Some people are hungry and eat fast. Some people are hungry and eat slow. No one is the same. The beadbi is not in speed but in lack of satkaar...
I would also like to add, doing a paath fast isn't a beadbi. In our busy lifestyle we sometimes don't get time to do our nitnem. So reading/listening a baani fast is still better to not to read/listen at all. But whenever we have ample time, we should aim for going slow. It is similar to eating food, eat slow or fast you will get the benefit. But a person who eats slow, enjoys the food as well. Dhan Guru Nanak🙏

ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਜੀ।ਪਾਠ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ(ਨਿੱਤਨੇਮ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ) ਜਾਂ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀਮਤ ਹੈ.. ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ.. ਪਰ ਆਲਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਠ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਛੇਤੀ ਵੇਹਲੇ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ , ਫਲ ਘੱਟ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

It’s not Beadbi to do Paath fast. You still get the same fal. Baba Nand Singh Ji used to do Sehaj Paaths in 2 hours.
