wormic, there is something with the rohen loop that confuses me a bit. did old rohen take his younger selfs place at the circle at some point, or did he in secret build all his portals? he was the master of the phoenix bearer and since she did not recognise the dark one it is unlikely that she served young rohen. with that in mind it seems he had to have gone public at some point, at least during the convocation wars since the PB fought in them. since i doubt young rohen had created his dark one persona before the convocation, i have a hard time not seeing there being at least rumors about there being two of the same circle mage and each being a separate entitity since their forces likely fought each other. then again the dark one would probably be interessted in quashing such rumors and stories to hide his identity and 8 years is a lot of time. the reason i am asking is that his art in conquest of eo shows him with a book and while it does not look like how the book of the convication is shown in the order of dawn, i am a bit confused if that is meant to be that book and thus the older rohen being the one. while writign i figured however that young rohen most likely has to be a member at least to the point that the prophecy of the convocation is discovered by the circle so it is probably not old rohen.
