I use to watch your videos before I go to bed , every night 2 to 3 videos... Myself being so much curious about space activities . I found your channel to be the easiest and cheapest way to explore and access space knowledge materials.
We had a professor at University who said essentially almost every 2 minute during lecture so i had the students in my nanophysics class bet on how many times the professer said essentially during lecture... He cought on during lecture as every time he said essentially everyone made a note.. He figured it out and essentially he tried not saying essentially and it messed up his whole presentation. He was mad and embarrassed at same time it was hilarious. The next lecture he was prepared and didn't say essentially once. And was so mad at and of lecture as everyone was saying essentially this and essentially that.. Aww the good ole days.
Of course, this is now a little dated. Barnard's Star has one confirmed planet. I'm sorry that this list didn't include the larger red dwarf Lalande 21185. This star may have planets and is more quiescent than flare stars like Proxima and Wolf 359. As a rule of thumb, the older and more massive a red dwarf is, the less it is prone to flaring.
Great video especially following the nearest brown dwarf video. Could you do a vid on the the nearest alternative objects close at to the solar system?(not stars or planets)
The Borg are very interesting. I figure they are the result of a massive social experiment to see how much more efficient they could be with an innate means to communicate and cooperate, and this was so successful that they became dependent on that, discarding individuality.
whenever i go to a star like Beatlguase, my screen goes black and i have to restart it, then its still black and i have to wait 1 week to make it go away. what mirror did u use to download? Mirror 1, or 2
So "we did not have the technology to create that", a rocket propelled with atomic bombs, we only had the atomic bombs... but "not the actual craft".... and so this was called a "project" rather than a fancy idea. Do I understand well?
I would really like to know what emulator is that I would love to play with it destroy planets travel to tham and bla bla bla it produces nice simulations
"Black dwarf" is a term for a white dwarf that has lost all its internal heat. These don't exist yet, because the time it takes for a white dwarf to cool down completely is much longer than the current age of the Universe. The coldest white dwarfs in existence probably have temperatures of about 3000 kelvins, still much hotter than a brown dwarf.
Sometimes people think caps are clickbait so they *don't* click it, and caps makes it seem less official. If you have your motives I'm missing go ahead, this is just my opinion, as a viewer.
I did not know this, I thought you just dislike caps, like some people say it is like 'crying' something. I see you feel offended somehow, well, I am sorry for this. I never heard about it could mean clickbait, as I said. Why it should make it less official, is not clear to me, but if others think so... Okay.
It's not too offensive to me, since I know he makes great videos, but with others it's offensive. It seems less official because most caps titles are for bad videos. Also, most papers and essays, etc are written in non all caps (unless it's like the font, which is not this case) I like his channel and don't want his reputation damaged just because some people (like me) judge on titles. winterweib
Wolf 359 After the Borg captured Capt. Piccard, Starfleet got their asses handed to themat this last Stand. Once the Enterprise NCC-1701D intercepted the Borg cube, the captain told Data to put ot to sleep.
hey anton pls respond you showed us a game some time ago where you were a country leader and you should have resolved problems and gdp and things ( not hearts of iron ) something with many branches
5 closet stars to us, and one of them is a dark brown (coffee) dwarf, so may be the universe actually have full of them, at least 1 out of 5,. Maybe they are the dark matter or dark energy that astronomers referred to them?
I think it was the first time I heard (or maybe I did hear it before, who knows, but did not care for it or so?) that you english speakers say 2012 as 'Twenty-twelve'. Before we entered the new century, we had lots of discussions here, how we would call the new time, if we would say 'Zwanzighundert' (what would be the way you say now), since it was Neunzehnhundert... before, or not. And now it is called Twothousandand... and to me it sounds so- well, not wrong, but so Onethousand...ish, you know? As if thousand years would not have existed. It sounds like medivals to me, too. I cannot explain. I would have prefered if we would say twentyhundredanything, too, after we left Nineteenhundredninety-nine. Twentyhundred would have tied at the Nineteenhundred, and twothousand ties at the onethousand.
We measure them by observing parallax. Essentially take two measurements. One in say January, the other June assuming the star is visible both months. Since the baseline of the measurement is 186 million miles, you can see a slight difference in stellar distance. Kind of like holding your finger in front of your nose and blinking your eyes back and forth. Your finger seems to move relative to more distant objects. This technique works for stars within about 500 LY of earth. Beyond that, other techniques are used.
wouldn't it be better to compare red dwarfs to other red dwarfs. Proxima Centaurii understand comparing to the sun but after wards shouldn't we compared to Proxima Centauri. I really get annoyed at all this comparison to our sun all the dam time. It does not help especially here when we are talking about smaller stars. We need size differences. People dont even understand how big the sun actually is for one or how far away each planet is from each other.
Inaccurate of of how longer proxima centauri will be close to us when you said ...and it will be close to us for a couple of moe years... Stars change distances between themselves as they rotate around the center of their galaxies ,in around, as in our milky way , every 225 milion years So a generous guess will give proxima a few millennia, give or take, to loose it's rank as closest star to us
You should continue this series and go beyond the 5 nearest stars. I'm pretty interested in our neighbors.
😂
I’m telling your significant other that their spouse is interested in the neighbors…

great vidoes. i watch them all (the space ones)

Ive loved this video keep going and keep being you
Project Orion was the nuclear bomb-powered space mission. Daedelus is supposed to be powered by nuclear fusion.

The Borg are very interesting.
I figure they are the result of a massive social experiment to see how much more efficient they could be with an innate means to communicate and cooperate, and this was so successful that they became dependent on that, discarding individuality.
I really love this video and did not found any other similar to that one :)
Love this guy
Question: If any one of the 5 stars were to say, blow up, or die, what effects would we suffr?
None of them have the slightest capacity to nova or supernova.
Thank you sir for this interesting post.
Anton do a nearst stars to eachother like the 2 stars closest to one another :P and what would happen in the future with those 2
I loved the star Altair a in that movie Forbidden Planet. Even the metal robot had a woody for her.
You know, if you think about it, we significantly smaller than a atom comparabld to this "infinite space"
this planets are COOL!👊💥
I think you should make a video of the biggest stars in our galaxy (the largest star is known as UY Scuti)
CazzaHD he already did
6 nearest stars Alpha Centauri,Barnard’s Star,Altair,Vega,Sirius and Procyon
whenever i go to a star like Beatlguase, my screen goes black and i have to restart it, then its still black and i have to wait 1 week to make it go away. what mirror did u use to download? Mirror 1, or 2
Amazing videos!! Keep it up!!
can you tell us about shooting stars and what makes a shooting star or if a shooting star is even a star?
UltimateR1 they are asteroids
They are none of the above they are meteors or meteorites
Love the vids man
where do you get these image from? is there a website? just an amateur astronomer would love to check it out!
birthday of Bernard star THIS YEAR ..
.., well, birthday comes every year.!!!
Thanks, Anton. :)
How does the 3rd system exist? What are the two stars orbiting?
Anton is betelgeuse your favorite star because of the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy?
i hope so :3
yes and it also sounds funny :D
lol yeees i knew it!!!
It’s BARNARD. Nor Bernard.
You had me at "Hello wonderful person!". Not gay, I just love astrophysics and astronomy!!!!
How kool
So great to see some of our neighbor stars!! I really believe other Earths are our best bet for expansion into Space
So "we did not have the technology to create that", a rocket propelled with atomic bombs, we only had the atomic bombs... but "not the actual craft".... and so this was called a "project" rather than a fancy idea. Do I understand well?

wow! cool videos
Ha! I mentioned it before Anton talked about it WOLF 359
is this really Comedy? Cmon its Much more for brains
You cant change category whenever you want. Thanks to Google. It could ruin your channel.
***** Then he forgets everytime
What app is he using? does it work on smartphones or tablet?
Why this video's category is Comedy?
Good video though!
hmm that's actually a good point, I don't know why it changed
Can you do a video about your cool finds in Space Engine?
hey please let me go there... how can i experience that interface! looks amazing and impossible???
It’s called space engine.
Nice vedio bhai
What software do you use?
Cannot find way to home, forever lost in space...
Brown dwarfs are the coldest stars in the Universe.
What about Black Dwarfs
Black dwarfs have no heat. They are super cold.

I know
Brown dwarfs are so cool
Around wise
Please don't use caps in titles :(
I like your videos fine without caps.
I do not care if caps or not. I am happy for that video, no matter if it would be described in cursive, kyrill, or wahtever :)
Sometimes people think caps are clickbait so they *don't* click it, and caps makes it seem less official. If you have your motives I'm missing go ahead, this is just my opinion, as a viewer.

could you see your own star if you were standing on one of the planets of that brown dwarf?
Nice
if i choose to have a power like a superhero.. i'm a SUN
It would take thousands of years for a conventional rocket driven craft to get to the nearest star
should be titled 5 nearest star (SYSTEMS)
In 2023 they discovered a planet here
Sure this has already been asked but, where can I listen to the opening song? Thnx
Wolf 359
After the Borg captured Capt. Piccard, Starfleet got their asses handed to themat this last Stand. Once the Enterprise NCC-1701D intercepted the Borg cube, the captain told Data to put ot to sleep.
Викентий Мадзин
how do you do space engine? how do you work it?
Just a point of order.. Jean Luc Picard was assimilated BEFORE..and WON the battle of Wolf 359
how many drinks?
We must not presume that all Intelligences are Planet Bound.
hey anton pls respond you showed us a game some time ago where you were a country leader and you should have resolved problems and gdp and things ( not hearts of iron ) something with many branches
Are you talking about Democracy 3?
André Santiago yes i found it thx bro appreciate it
Why is his subs going down?
Whats the different between a star and a sun ?
Is there a space engine app for android?
What about 5 cloest stars similar to our sun!
5 closet stars to us, and one of them is a dark brown (coffee) dwarf, so may be the universe actually have full of them, at least 1 out of 5,. Maybe they are the dark matter or dark energy that astronomers referred to them?
Unlikely
I wish you could have told us how many light years away they are.
He did though.....
How far away is it
Game?

Both "twenty twelve" and "two thousand sixteen" are used. "Twenty twelve" is used more often.
Thank you! I did not know this!
You are lucky to have the choice :) We do not have it. I prefer Twenty twelve :)
Many greetings to you!
Hi Anton, where do you get all your information from? :O
topoluc12 He is a teacher
topoluc12 he's a teacher so he has to know this information but he probably learned all of it from school (college), books, the Internet and what not.
I follow the new science papers and read the fun ones ...for fun :D
Signs and Wonders God created the stars
BRO I CAN BARELY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY
Me to
ive been hearing that our Sun has its own small orbit or as the planets orbit the sun, the sun moves in its own little orbit idk how true it is
kevin chagnot it's true but the center of gravity is still in the sun
the Sun is not yellow, it is white, the reason why it looks like yellow is our horizon .

J Dean Thanks
Tralala and Fideldihi
What if earth rotated like Uranus?
It would be so full of shit flying around that it would turn into a black hole ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Anton, Slow down please!
which app is this
its not an app its a simulation program Space engine its free

Geez! This video is two years old ! How do I know the universe hasn’t already blown up?

''top closest stars''
nemesis is the nerest star
magnitude nit magnefication xD again
@2.04 the closest star to us is the sun!!! how can something be an asteroid that is technically be a planet???
i am using a headphone
52th
how can we send things flying through space at 12% of the speed of light without crashing into stuff? Arent there rocks and asteroids everywhere?
MonkeySeeMonkeyDoo? well those rocks are so far apart that even our largest spaceships could easily fly through the asteroid belt
Speak slower
Love the vids man
