Does anyone know how to do the distortion effect at 1:15? I’ve been looking for this for months and still can’t seem to get a good distortion effect like he does
I'm not sure how specific this question is supposed to be but he might be using a pedal. Additionally he's using a guitar with two big pickups which just makes the sound fatter. On Ultimate Guitar they say just turn the gain all the way up but I'm not sure that's actually how you do it
Yoloswag 420 for me I turn my DLY/Rev knob up and tap it to settle it so it doesn’t echo. Also, I use the American rock (although a sonic setting or British rock setting would work too) setting on my amp for the solo while using a deluxe setting for the rest of the song. Hope that helps
ArcherGaming there’s a dude who made a tutorial that I liked a ton. I learned the whole song, including the solo, in about 30 minutes. It’s not hard at all tbh and the way he’s playing it in this is just power chords. In the tutorial I learned, it’s actually much smoother sounding and more identifiable

tbh it might be a stock logic gain/distortion amp, i know for a fact he does most of his processing on his mac so it might just be a vst amp
