Do they ever ask you anything about politics or current events? I looked up sample interview questions from medical schools there in the Philippines and some bloggers have mentioned being asked about abortion, duterte, and the environment. Is this common or maybe is it outdated since the blogs i read were from around 2016? Also, if you had any friends who did online interview this year, how long did their interviews take? (15 minutes? 1 hour?)
Hi Kris. I was interviewed 4 years ago so yes around the same time with the blogs you've read. At that time, I also prepared to answer questions about politics and current events but I wasn't asked any. The questions mainly revolved around me and my study habits/college life/why I want to be a doctor and why I applied to their schools. I don't have friends who did online interviews but based on my experience it can last from 15mins - 1 hour depending on how you answer. And the duration of the interview has no correlation with you being accepted or not :)

Hi, Krin! I cant give you an exact number but of course there are instances na narereject pa rin after the interview. Focus na lang on doing everything you can to prepare for your interview like practice answering questions and practice being comfortable talking in front of a laptop :) and of course, hope for the best. Kaya mo yan!! The fact na you stumbled upon this video means na youre doing everything you can to prepare. You can do it :)
