Absolutely superb.. Our time in Bosnia was truly unforgettable! What an extraordinary country it is. Thanks to our exceptional tour guide Vekas from Bosnian Tours, our experience was exceptionally memorable. He tailored the tour to our preferences, and his commitment ensured that we made the most of our visit and the country. It's not often that you come across guides in Bosnia who are so dedicated. We managed to visit around 15 different locations in such a short span of time. If you're considering your next vacation, I strongly urge you to think about exploring Bosnia.
I was in Bosnia last July and I fell in love with that country immediately. I visited in Sarajevo, Blagaj Tekija, Mostar, Sarajevo and Kozarac. Sadly you didn't have more time to enjoy Sarajevo. This July I am planning to visit in Neum, Jajce, Visoko and again in Sarajevo after my quick visit in Izmit, Turkey. It's still about 20 years to my retirement so things can still change but at the moment Bosnia somewhere near or in Sarajevo will be where I will live. Volim Bosnia I Sarajevo 🇫🇮💖🇧🇦
@@BaronVonGrumble Take your time. it's well worth the wait. Hope you're good man and, if you're still going through the same stuff, still pushing through a living as best you're able to
@@BaronVonGrumble I am, the stories make me smile and you've found a really beautiful place to visit. It is a shame more people don't know or have a bad opinion.
As a Bosnian i am very happy that you have enjoyed your stay and our country. I hope you will find the time to come and visit Bosnia again. There is lots more to see and experience. Good luck!
Hello, Mr. Baron, I am glad that you came to the Balkans and that you are enjoying the parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992. in the city of Tuzla and I love that you filmed the series your way from Great Britain to the Balkans. I love your videos, I hope we will meet and hang out in the future I wish you a safe journey home and clear roads 🤗
Happy that you visited! I am from Sarajevo, but currently living in Germany. Unfortunately been a witness of the war and siege, (was 10yrs old when shit started). If you are coming to north Germany, reach out and I can tell you how it was there during the war. Awesome videos and great content!! Thanks for sharing! Ride safe and stay safe!
This video reminds me of the time when i watched ur videos as a teenager before i could afford my first bike and it really fills me with nostalgia. Im happy ur back to uploading Baron. Double bloody decker and greetings from Slovenia
Man I can't explain how happy it makes me to hear someone say "I believed Bosnia is just poverty, crime, hatred, violence etc". I live in Bosnia and it happens quite often that tourists say how it's so lovely and they just knew that it would be amazing but get surprised when they find out we have basic human rights and facilities for normal lifestyle. Hate that hypocritical bullshit. Loved the video fam, keep it up
When I was in Mostar a local girl asked me what my first thought was when I think of Bosnia, I said Edin Dzeko (footballer) and the smile on her face was amazing, she said it was the first time she heard an answer that wasnt war related. I will never forget that smile.
Aright Chris, great content; once in a lifetime experience, appreciate it to its full extent. You got me into motorcycling and was the reason I got my license from watching ride the Alps. That’s extended into me getting my mate into it too so thanks. Hope you keep your content coming for a long time.
These videos are definitely inspirational, showing all aspects of the trip is fantastic, most people would only show the good stuff like most social media. Going and doing a trip like this on your own despite not feeling 100% is amazing. I’m not sure I could do it. Keep at it and keep making these videos, keep raising awareness for mens mental health please. Absolute hero. ❤
Loving the series, what an awesome place Bosnia is, thanks for sharing your journey with us, as tough as it was you are an inspiration to show what you can do even in your darkest time, Thank Barron “Kia Kaha”
Hi Chris. Thanks for sharing this personal journey. I think in life its not just love we look for its happiness which can be found in many different places. Your joy and excitement about just riding round a few corners is why biking is a life saver. It reminded me of 5 years ago, when i got back into bikes and remember just screaming with joy and i couldnt stop laughing. Thanks again for bringing a smile to our faces. Tim
We have some incredible friends who escaped Bosnia at just the right time. Gordana, Dobrivoy and Dee. Peaceful, quiet, loving, friendly, amazing cooks and always so bloody happy to see us. Cheers, Baron!
Wife is Bosnian, she came to the states after the war because it left nothing in its wake. Her parents are finally moving back to Bosnia after being in the states since 96. They leave this Friday (may 5th 2023) I show her and her parents these videos, they love ‘em lol. ⚡️
I leave on my first Europe trip on Thursday. You are a massive inspiration to me. Been watching you for years. The commute to London must have been soul destroying and I’m glad you found this passion for vlogging from that. Thank for everything you do. Makes my day when I have a video of yours to watch.
That road with the river running alongside! It looked up there on the list of great roads. Thank you for this series and all the work that goes into it, it is hugely enjoyed and appreciated. Being able to zone out and enjoy the journey with you is massively relaxing 👍🏻👊🏻
Waxing poetic my friend. What a life changing trip. Self discovery, beautiful scenery, thanks for struggling through for us . We all just want to be loved and loved , just like you said. What a superb series Chris, I’m a fan of Bosnia having served there as a young squaddie, I’m a bout to embark on another trip there early May 23, you really do give the place credit where credit is due, and also pass on to folk that it is a really beautiful peaceful place… your a great influencer to us all, Thank you
We were there in the 80's. I can smell that heat and air right now through the screen, memories just came flooding back. I want to go there again. Great video as usual. 😎
Thanks Chris for these absolutely inspiring vids. Hard to put into words how much confidence and encouragement it's given me for touring. This needs to be an annual series. Cheers.
Great having some good old BvG! Might have to watch this back again: I was working away and just listening but I think I've missed some beautiful scenery. Keep 'em coming 🙂!
As someone wjo lives in Sarajevo and Travels all over Bosnia,i must say that even this day I still get amazed as I drive beside the River Neretva...I remember me and my buddies when we all turned 18 and started driving,we all worked one entire week, and then at the ned we would get in a car and drive Down to Mostar or if we really had Money Neum and see the sea...It was our favourite road to drive on,no police, beautiful and calm and not all that far away...It was just perfect for a Adeventure for some 18 year old boys who just wanted some fun.
HI Chris I'm originally from Bosnia but now I live in Manchester. After watching you ride through Bosnia and hear your comment, I'd like to say thank you. Bosnia is a wonderful country but media paints the picture as if it’s still a war zone. I'm planning to purchase another bike soon, so if you visit Manchester let me know and we can grab a coffee. Great series - best ep so far I fink - I really felt the giggle on the road to Sarajevo. Those moments when all you can do is giggle.... Peak motorcycling!

Coincidentally, I had ran Belgrade Marathon a month previous, and took rental car down to Skopje in N.
