1:06 is starting swing, 2:45 the cooler second step, 2:57 thrid step (two fingers with the hammer on, 4:24 fourth is going down, 5:27 fifth is going back up again with the scales p1, 6:56 is the second half of the way up, 7:25 the third half (lol) of the way up, 8:20 cool stuff high up, 8:33 good tip with timing, 9:30 going over the whole high part for timing again, 10:17 suuuuper high "unison bend", 10:51 the "lick" he plays twice, 11:12 last "unison bend," then 11:53 final slow playthrough woooo
Dear Andy, thank you very much indeed for this lesson! You saved me! Your explanation is very clear, patient and of easy comprehension! Success for you! Hugs from Brazil!
wow! finally 2 things. First, someone not afraid to show the epiphone headstock. And last but not least, it's not some kid adjusting their volume/tone knobs right at the start of the video....Great playing!
Please note for the benefit of your students, that is the 'Albert King' box NOT the 'BB Box'. The BB Box is the next one up! The Albert King box is also appropriately called the 'House of Blues' by some due to the house shape pattern. The box can be heard all over Albert's playing and copied by every blues player from SRV onwards.
amp settings for les paul? on the sonic ik the amp should be gain 6 treb 5 rest at 8. just doesn’t sound quite right on my les paul. your les paul sounds much better in terms of tone of original song
Yo, could you do mosquito song by QOTSA? Im dying to learn it but there arent any lesson videos, Im no good at tabs and the cover videos are too quick to learn from. Love your stuff, I performed Hotel California at a social do after learning it from you.
What on earth is this woman below on about obviously not an intermediate player as Andy is one of the best instructors on the web,try again in a few years when you are at the right level!
Not very easy to follow and you can't see where his fingergers are and what string they are on. Also it goes far to quick and your told to do this like this then this which is not helpful
@@goodyeoman4534 it would also help if you put up the chord shape on the screen and told us what string, what thret and what finger to use when it's a single note

Excellent tutorial for an absolute classic of a solo. Thank you
Would be good if you could cover what the lead guitar does during the verse and chorus
Thanks! Your tutorial makes it way easier.
Murders the solo, in the intro. Moving on... :D

Wow a tolerant happy man/woman.

This is very similar in terms of the scale run to the Let It Be album solo which is another of my favourite solos
its almost identical notes

i opened up a tab from ultimate guitar then flicked between his video and that to fill in the blanks. also, it's easier to do it in slow mo.

@@hayleecomet6830 you need to figure out something by yourself, then you are not a good guitarist

WONDERWALL
Can we try this on acoustic?
Of course! 😃
Awesome
How come the first part uses notes from the A minor pentatonic scale if its c major?
Because A minor and C major use the exact same notes, they are the relative major and minor of each other *mind blown* 🔥
Andy Guitar thanks pal yes I'm trying to get my head around keys and theory. Great channel very informative
