However I agree with the spirit of the statistic. Only 27% use undergraduate students work in a field directly related to their major.
@21:45 I can relate my story. Not even me, many of us have been experienced that. Engineering courses are much lengthy and not every subjects required to study. I did my Diploma and B.E Mechanical but once we placed in company we have to take knowledge from beginning, company runs on 1-2 subjects what we studied. I have seen who were top in our class but once he started practice in industry he couldn't match the level. I agreed what he said.

I know what is he talking about but he shouldnt have generalised it. It needs be seen case by case bases that what the switches are about. Even I do hiring for IT companies and i try to ask candidates about the reason he left the previous organisations.
