      Note their short hair anf lack of anything else relevant to black culture. This is fundemental when aspiring to achieve success in corporate USA/UK

    As a Black Man in Tech from the Projects in Brooklyn, I can't relate to these Black Men. I come from a different walk of life.

      Yeah they touched on that a little bit. Tech expects Black men to show up the same way. It’s based on unconscious bias and ignorance.

      These men up here do not represent me at all. My experience is way different. These are people who were chosen to be groomed in certain aspects. IT Tech solves problems where I am at we didn’t have time to be groomed we just dug in and were expected to build and my experience was about being passed over time and time again.

    When dude said he wanted to be like Eddie Murphy in Boomerang I was like yeah that's mah dawg right there. Anyway, great panel I work in tech as a cloud engineer and love what I do.

    Reduce the humor of the discussion, and focus on the problem of Blacks not being vast participants in the Information Technology arena. It can only be the fault of those of us currently in IT. I've been in IT for over 25+ years, first as an employee and then as a Company owner. If we in IT don't require OEMs to reach out more to Black users, educators and Owners in and of the technology business. We'll never have more than 30K + of us, within the Industry.
