Hi Kelvin! I’m entering the chiropractic program at Cleveland university next year in September. I just wanted to ask your opinion on why did you pick chiropractic over PT? I’ve heard numerous people advice me on going into pt instead of chiropractic school when I told them. Some say it’s pseudoscience and some say it’s not reliable. What’s your take on it

I often think both professions have very similar scope of practice, in the world of MSK rehab. From my experience I do think Chiro places more focus on manual therapy whereas PT has more exercise based therapy(not to be confused they do manipulate too!). I know education plays a role but ultimately I do think it really comes down to your individual practice style. For me it is evidence based approach and the differences in professions do not limit my ability to execute that.

@@noreaster6470 they recommend a minimum of 3.0 but if you have a 2.75, they’ll still consider but they’ll put you on academic advising for your first year

Caution: Chiropractors don't make enough money to warrant the time & expense of the schooling.
