- This is Part 6 of our most recent series of shed tours from Country Classic Cars in Staunton, IL. This week's video has a very wide variety of classic cars, such as: Packard Caribbean, Mercury Monterey, Mercedes Benz 230, 1931 Ford Model A, Volkswagen Beetle, Renault, Chevrolet El Camino, and many more.

I own two of the cars seen in this video. I have a 1931 Ford Model A Sport Coupe. It too was a barn find that I picked up Nov. 2011 (its still untouched in my garage). All original, last driven in 1978.
I also own a 1966 Mercury Monteray. It has 53,000 miles. My Aunt & Uncle bought the car brand new and when they passed it landed in my brother's garage.
That's awesome, definitely a couple of great cars you have there.
I had a 1959 Renault 4CV when I was 12...That's where I learned a lot of lessons...And lost lots of dads tools.
That's really cool Zig. There is just something about that Renault that I really like.
That Chrysler Cordoba reminds me of the commercials with the guy from Fantasy Island..."Corinthian leather".

Hey Jeff, I haven't commented in a while, but I want to thank you for these CCC shed tours. They are my favorite videos from you!!! I have my eye on a handful of cars on the website, but two cars in particular is a 78 Olds Cutlass Brougham and a 92 Mercury Grand Marquis LS.

@@RamblinAround That 59 Mercury was awesome. My dad's very first car was a 58 Monterey. It didn't last that long, it had a bad oil pump and the guy who sold it to my dad knew it. :(

A lot of great looking cars, along with some unique ones as well. I like the Renault, but I once owned a 1958 DKW 2 stroke 3 cylinder so I like the odd little cars as well. I just think the Renault has a great look to it. Thanks for all the work you do for us, we appreciate it.

Thanks for another shed tour. I love quirky cars and that Renault is calling my name. At 6’5” and 320 lbs, I’m thinking it would take a substantial amount of 10w30 to get me in or out of that car.
LOL, yeah the Renault may not be the best fit.
I did notice that them cars are priced with in reson,that maybe a average man could save up for one ,nice surprise

Nice video and the cars are not expensive.
Ford, Lincoln, Mercury. I miss my $50 Merc I had in the 70's I once bought a car for the price of a tank of gas. 1962 Monterey.You could literally see the gas gauge move on that 390 4bl V8.

Some pretty cool cars in this one.. do you guys come across many 70s chevy or gmc vans? Very scarce here in Canada. Been looking for a while with very little luck..
On that Renault 4cv you can tune the engine, like Fiat had Abarth doing racing versions of the Fiat 500 & 600, Renault had Gordini hot rod several of their models, you should by it, its a nice find in that condition.
It really is a cool little car. I'm sure it would be fun if it were hopped up a bit, like you said.
That 53 packard with the supercharger , it was a factory option
I really like the Grand Marquis. Not crazy about the lace panels. But that's a small drawback. I'll be looking at the website for the price for sure. And that Renault is quirky but cool.
Love to see any 58,59, 60 Chevy impala's
Nice 66 Mercury. We never got the Monterey after 63 in Canada just the Park Lane and Montclair and the Meteors. I have a 65 Montclair myself. Is that the place that had the fire a couple years ago?
That supercharger was an option on that Pakcard

I wanna buy that Little Renault and fill full of clowns and drive it around ..I would take the 1966 Mercury Monterey and build that 390 into a big H.P. and lots of Torque engine and be driving it on long trips on the Interstate passing all the newer cars that are supposed to be so fast

I saw this video again, in 1999 My wife Dorthe and I drove about 1600 km in 3 weeks and I drove 1340 km in about 12 hours in a reanoualt 12 gt a very fast car but small repair it on the way

Stuart drives a comfortable car, there is usually somebody in the trunk.
It has lean burn you can see it on the right hand side of the air cleaner rip it off right away and put the electronic set up from Mopar performance now direct connection once again for a l.a engine install it those lean burn computers are junk when they go you're screwed by the side of the road you better hope and pray the local junk yard has one stashed that's for a 318 engine as their for 318 360 400 and 6 cylinder junk junk junk don't be complacent and leave it like that you'll be sorry I bought all the ones in ottawa canada years ago so the chances of finding one in my neck of the woods is little to non
