Thanks David! 2-3 years ago I was getting test runs/results that were too variable for my liking, so I tried to analyse all the things that may have an effect. I will try and do some short vids on the other things, that affected "accurate" timed runs. But yes, when the level of competition is so tight, everything needs to be as "right" as it can. ( For the viewers: This video was made off 100's of observations over time, and not any one instance.) Cheers Marc
Cheers Bill ! Catch you later ! Make sure you have containers ready when you pull apart the Bouncer! Lots of little bits to lose, unlike a mainline. Marc D
Look at you, you little inventor you! The drag strip game is made up of 100ths. The life leason here is: "If one starts off crooked, one will only get crooked results" - Mr Mojo Bathurst Diecast Racing
Hi GI. Yes I started watching in 2018. I needed to start "working out" a little to get fitter, so with TV and chromecast fitted in my (then) shed, I needed something to watch! Started with customising channels then quickly found race content. Yeah I was a diecast kid, long ago! All the best to you on your diecast journey! Cheers Marc D
@@cutrockr-diecastracing2773 hanging in there, thankyou for asking, both of us r back working 😢 unfortunately we took a huge financial loss last year, but thats life, Super won't let us take our 💰 so have to get lawyers now 🤔🤫🍻
And I'm stoked to see that barn find pink 55 chevy by the finish line. A youtuber by the name of Green Onion customized it and auctioned it off on ebay, I bought it and a year later sent it to Simon at HCT. Glad you wound up with it!
Oh WoW Sean! Thanks for the full story!! Sad to when Simon wound up, but to his full credit, he passed on all he had to a few of us, where he thought they would be appreciated. It was iconic (to me) to see it on his channel regularly. (Ok, I'm a bit sentimental) I have a few other bits I move around as well. But yeah being new to filming, have to make sure I tidy up a few areas more. Cheers Marc
Hey man, Marc just sent me a message regarding how he ended up with that car and I just wanted to leave another message on here expressing how cool it is to me that the car lives on to this day! Shows how great of a community diecast can be... I have since moved on in my life and havent been collecting for years now, same with the youtube channel which has been dead for about 3 or so years at this point outside of using it for just watching other videos lol. Just crazy to me that a car that I made probably 5 years ago at this point as a teenager has been around the world and across many different channels, means a lot to me! Wish you the best with your channels, thanks for the great memories in the diecast community!
@@AsiaStreet365 From Sean's original comment I tracked the builder down, and watched the vid where it was the subject. The young guy pretty chuffed it lives on! Cheers, nice Pinot at the club right now! Marc
P.S. My axles on most of my GHOs are arleady bent enough, so start position may not matter. I'm figuring a Mirada would be the go....Wish I was in US, here a local want $30 for a beater! Yeah I did ask, are the wheels straight, true running, no rust etc... "Sure" Hmm I think I will work on what I got first! Cheers
Great stuff! Cheers to 6 years.
Missed this 1 sorry Old mate 😢 here now better late then never right 😮😊🍻🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺👍
That was awesome.
Cheers with beers ! Marc D
Yessir!!!! That can make the difference in getting a trophy 🏆 or sitting in 2nd!!! Gr8 tip

I loved that car and it sat at the end of my track for years and I'm really gald that it's still in Australia at Marcs track✌

Great info, cars have to be straight and inline with track for best results as you have proven✌
Cheers 🍷 🍷 Simon!
Always wondered about this. When I see it it really bugs me. Nice work!
Understandable! Thanks for your input. Cheers Marc D
Very cool bro

Great video buddy! I try my hardest to get em straight…except yours…yours go down backwards here.
Marc's cars go faster if they start on their roof....true story!
