This song is a classic. From the melody and music composition, to the individual talent of these 3. Anf then you sprinkle some knowledge and power on top, and you have one of the best songs ever. Yea i said it
This is a great song but nationalism has been around since people been around. No song can destroy it or even destroy the idea of it. Nationalism isn’t bad anyway.
@@stiggmint6226 no, it hasn't. The concept of nation-states was developed sometime in 15th century in Europe and exported by colonial empires throughout the world. Nationalism as ideology first emerged in the 17th century. And yes, it is bad, because it promotes nothing but division by a completely artificial factor. Cultures have always been around, not nations. Ancient and Middle-Eastern kingdoms were in most cases polyethnic. Some of the biggest empires often combined multiple languages as their official. For example in Roman Empire Latin and Greek were both used in all spheres of activity. Same situation with Persian and multiple turkic languages in the Persian Empire. Arabic was used in many non-Arabic countries. China is still among the most ethnically diverse countries. Why do you think Austrian Empire managed to survive for so long, with all the Germans, Hungarians, Romanians and various Slavic peoples living in harmony for centuries, while nowadays, well... We all know what happened to Yugoslavia. A country where all languages were mutually intelligible and nearly identical. So many wars were caused due to nationalism, it's insane.

its about the tribes that are in war. they are the same people from the same country but they still killing each other. they are addressing what's happening in there. its like a civil war that never ends.
It's a dressing civil conflict through the ages of africa. not only that but also the evolution of war and the loneliness that comes from it, it's implying that war happens on all scales, not just nation, domestic or the people vs the institutions; be it governmental or corporate but also family fueds and even internal psychological conflict that people struggle with on a daily basis. The message? It doesn't have to be called a war to be a war.
This should've been on the Black Panther Movie!
A&R Pressure Washing 100% agree, makes the actual BP soundtrack sound weak in comparison
