I knew you spent years as a researcher for the show, but I didn't realize you were involved in this one. I always thought Goro vs Machamp would be a match that's scraping the bottom of the barrel because of how one-sided it was, but it ended up being my favorite of the season because of how well written and funny it was. Quick question and I'm not sure if you're allowed to answer, but was there talk about using no-guard over guts? I'm just curious how that would work in a vs situation.
Like someone else said, that footage of Bea is from a short anime series, Pokémon: Twilight Wings. it focuses on people from the Galar region. You should give it a watch since it's only 8 episodes with each episode not even reaching 10 minutes.
Even if Death Battle it's gruesome, there's the fact that it's more analysis than the fight itself, if the fight was all about it, Ris would be completely bored.
Very understandable take on the show, but not the best ep to learn about or compare the characters. If this ep is your main source of info on these guys, you might never learn that Kotal Kahn was 100 years old when he blew up that ship and 650+ when he fought Goro....with a power up. Also you might get an impression that Kabal and Goro scale in some way. In reality they don't share a scene together in over 30 years of the franchise. Also mach 2.7?Yikes, he blitzed characters faster than lightning.
The footage of Bea is from an online series called Twilight Wings, which focused on the Galar region. Would you consider doing a reaction to it? It's on the Pokemon RUclips channel. They also announced an upcoming one focusing on the Hisui region (aka old timey Sinnoh, from Legends Arceus).
Only got three Pokemon DB suggestions in mind: - Bewear vs Kuma (Tekken) - Team Rocket vs Dorombo (Yatterman) - Greninja vs Tsuyu Asui (My Hero Academia)
I'd want Greninja vs. Ranno from Rivals of Aether. And as for a Pokémon vs. Tekken match, I've always wanted a fight between Sudowoodo and Mokujin, as something of a sillier episode.
Great question. I listened to a few different comic-book audiobooks during that time, so I could get them mixed up. There was one with Black Adam, at least, and his lover and her younger brother. And a talking crocodile/alligator.

I am pretty happy that Machamp won this fight like given the Pokémon World is pretty crazy but yeah this was a pretty good video game fight though this would be the only video game fight for quite sometime in Season 7 which I will go into detail once you get there but next time with Cable and Booster Gold, we got a Gritty Badass and a Silly Goofball with time traveling shenanigans so it's going to be a pretty fun one. It's weird that the anime actually often makes Pokemon WEAKER than in the video games, because if Pokemon could really do what their Pokedex entries say they can do and didn't have video game limitations to hold them back, there there would literally be no plot because everyone would be dead. Death Battle doesn't even always do gore, anyway. Season 8's opener and finale (not spoiling what they are for Ris) are both some of the best episodes of that season and neither had even a speck of blood.
So your not a fan of gore yet you are watching death battle and so pretty much all MK characters rips limbs off does that mean that everyone is a douche.
