The first game seemed like the reverse of Roffle's usual control gameplan: 'Force the opponent to remove our stuff until they have no more stuff to remove our stuff.'

reminded me of good ol big spell mage vs murloc shaman matchup back in the day. Tons of AOE vs tons of repetitive board generation, who will run out of stuff first

I picked up Tess from one of the decks they gave out like 2 expansion ago to returning players, instead of the Demon Hunter one (which probably would have made more sense). I haven't touched the game since, but its nice to know she got buffed
do you know if you actually keep tess if she leaves from the core set? like do you get to keep the witchwood version once she rotates?
@@jjts1386 Nope, Core is rental copies so if she ever rotates, you'll need the Witchwood copy to keep playing with her.
Why would DH make more sense? Tess is fun, DH is not.
I had no DH cards, so picking that deck made the class playable
I know this deck doesn't need it, but do you think running both shinyfinder and instrument tech in kingsbane is a good call?
Yes, because Kingsbane needs to be drawn so the redundancy is useful. The deck also wants to use Blade Flurrys to clear boards so having multiple fetches ensures the Kingsbane can always come back to hand.
Having both immensely helps kingsbane consistency. Many games I use all 4

This hast been my favorite Deck for a while now.ever since the 40 cards Decks are a thing.
The new cards are perfect and it is SO good now. I prefer it to kingsbane.
Its a Control Deck, healing to full every Turn, Killing whatever big Minion with no issue and having so much draw now to get both weapon buffs and other class cards into your hand consistantly
Not better than KB, meta decks will break your weapon consistently
is there ever a case where clever disguise is better than sunwell? on a 9 card hand, you get 2 cards for 1 mana, and 3 for 2 mana at 8. It seems to only generate more value than disguise, right? When your hand is empty, it costs more, but generates more as well.
Sunwell is not better

Not playing the Tess at 6:48 to get a second Banshee and swinging at the Soulstealer for two 10/10s made my heart hurt. 10/10, Burgle Rogue is the best deck.

Every time I feel like it's a good time to play the deck, it's because Rogue is doing well with weapons, which means I become collateral damage to the weapon hate that starts floating around. Yo Kingsbane! How bout you give it a rest for a bit and let me have some fun?
Then again Zeph is always there when the meta slows down to shit on my parade.

If you attack both shades at 23:30 first, wouldn't those curses get deleted? Or how does that interaction work? Otherwise loved the vid, and spectral cutlass is just amazing.
Yeah, it casts the spell and no curse is added to your hand. I was saying “no no no no!” When he didn’t attack first lol
making room in his hand just to add more curses was an interesting play for sure
they do get deleted but the number still goes up, and playing curses allows him to get weapon durability

@@friskydrinklunkybank1108I play my own version of Cutlass rogue, and trust me, every single control deck nowadays runs weapon hate, whether through Rustrot Viper, Stickyfingers, or Zephrys (Acidic Swamp Ooze). It's painful out here.

Ah yes let's delete control Kingsbane from the game but keep the infinite value deck that does the exact same thing intact. I love Blizzard ballance.

@@JinnaiV2 I specifically said control Kingsbane, did I not? Aggro Kingsbane (the only Kingsbane list to ever be anything other than a counter to Big Priest, i.e., a relevant deck) never used leeching poison and was never directly nerfed. I want control Kingsbane to be playable.

@@JinnaiV2 I hate aggro Kingsbane too. Control Kingsbane was my favorite deck ever, and today it would just be a much worse version of quest druid.
Control Kingsbane isn't even a thing. Lifesteal would just get run in the aggro version to beat other aggro decks. It's absolutely a degenerate strategy.
