I met a boy called Charlie Charlie On the 4th of September last year He was 21 and once a teenage star So sweeten the way he appeared In the way he appeared Charlie Charlie He was a trip into The wild and the free Got high on drinks and me In rock'n roll dreams We share the days and nights Till one morning He showed me I fell in love with Charlie Charlie It felt like the right thing to do With his careless, charmed And his jaded eyes I know you would have fall in, too You would have fall in, too Charlie Charlie He was a trip into The wild and the free Got high on drinks and me In rock'n roll dreams We share the days and nights Till one morning He showed me Charlie Charlie When for I'm and At the end of the street They stole my heart But if you happen to meet You tell him I don't want The money that he owes me I just wanna know What went through him Cause I could never know He don't know I thought I knew him Charlie Charlie What are you doing to me Charlie Charlie He's got my credit card And has something seen He stole my heart But if you happen to meet him Tell him I don't want the money I just want him
There are a lot of mistakes in this text. The actual lyrics are: I met a boy called Charlie Charlie On the fourth of September last year He was 21 and once a teenage star So sweet in the way he appeared In the way he appeared Charlie Charlie He was a trip into he wild and the free Got high on drinks and neon rock 'n roll dreams We shared the days and nights 'til one morning he showed me I fell in love with Charlie Charlie It felt like the right thing to do With his careless charm and his jaded eyes I know you would have fallen, too You would have fallen, too Charlie Charlie He was a trip into the wild and the free Got high on drinks and neon rock 'n roll dreams We shared the days and nights 'til one morning he showed me Charlie Charlie When for an errand at the end of the street he stole my heart but if you happen to meet him tell him I don't want The money that he owes me I just wanna know what went through him Cause I could never know even though I thought I knew him Charlie Charlie What are you doing to me Charlie Charlie He's got my credit card And hasn't been seen He stole my heart but if you happen to meet him tell him I don't want the money no, I just want him
This was my least favourite song off the album when I first heard it, because it sounded too much like the pre-Gran Turismo version of The Cardigans, which left me completely cold. However, this sounds far more moody and mysterious than I remembered it, so either it's a different version, or I was too hasty in my judgement.
Its pretty subjective to say which version sounds better. You can only express which version you like best. I heard all three versions - English, French, & Polish. My personal favorite is the french version from Vanessa & The O's.
I love Polish version the most, maybe because I'm Polish and that's also the version I've heard first, but also in the Polish version, Charlie stays with her and then leaves at night and disappears forever, so it's even more dramatic and heartbreaking!! Also' Ania's voice is so full of emotions too, when she sings it.
So indie... and depressed and it is like a hug.
LOVE THIS SONG!❤
I met a boy called Charlie Charlie
On the 4th of September last year
He was 21 and once a teenage star
So sweeten the way he appeared
In the way he appeared
Charlie Charlie
He was a trip into
The wild and the free
Got high on drinks and me
In rock'n roll dreams
We share the days and nights
Till one morning
He showed me
I fell in love with Charlie Charlie
It felt like the right thing to do
With his careless, charmed
And his jaded eyes
I know you would have fall in, too
You would have fall in, too
Charlie Charlie
He was a trip into
The wild and the free
Got high on drinks and me
In rock'n roll dreams
We share the days and nights
Till one morning
He showed me
Charlie Charlie
When for I'm and
At the end of the street
They stole my heart
But if you happen to meet
You tell him I don't want
The money that he owes me
I just wanna know
What went through him
Cause I could never know
He don't know
I thought I knew him
Charlie Charlie
What are you doing to me
Charlie Charlie
He's got my credit card
And has something seen
He stole my heart
But if you happen to meet him
Tell him I don't want the money
I just want him
You’re off at some parts.

Do you know which one is original? And is it just song or a soundtrack from somewhere? Can't find any information about it :
@@NanakoNatsumi This one is the original.

Ewelina Światłowska hello

Piotr Jalowiec Piosenka Anny jest coverem utworu zespołu A Camp
Portmonet this version is better than polish cover.

Vanessa and the O's version is vastly superior
Ania Dąbrowska lepsza;))
plagiat😂
Ania ma lepszy głos
Ania Dąbrowska zrobiła tylko cover tej piosenki.
PUBG Camp Charlie? Lmao
Po polsku zgrabniejszy tekst i brzmienie też z mocniejszym charakterem...
Nie zgadzam się
I think the English version has more tenderness at the beginning, so I like it more🙌
Ania Dąbrowska zrobiła tylko cover tej piosenki.
