Our custom silver Electro-Acoustic Concert Grand Pedal Harps are here! These amazing instruments were custom created for us by Camac Harps in France and shipped to us in Chicago. These harps were in production for over 6 months. We filmed ourselves unboxing our new harps so that all of you could experience the unboxing with us! An Electro-Acoustic Pedal Harp is just like an acoustic harp you would see in an orchestra, but it has integrated pick-ups that allow it to be amplified and recorded evenly and clearly. Each of the harp's 47 strings is equipped with a highly accurate pick-up that amplifies each pluck of the string. We asked for the soundboards to be left without silver finish so that the acoustic sound would be pure. So, we have the best of both worlds: a pedal harp with electric pick-ups on every string, which also sounds perfect acoustically while unamplified. Electro-Acoustic harps have the ability to link to special effects pedals, which give this unique harp a modern and innovative edge! Electro-acoustic pedal harps will also allow us to amplify much more easily for large spaces and live concert venues… imagine our “One” (Metallica) and “Stairway to Heaven” arrangements live with amplification! We’re excited to continue going where no harps have gone before and expand the capabilities of the harp with our radical Duet Harp Revolution!

I just spent 12 mins of my life watching a harp unboxing. For some reason I find everything these girls do, interesting. 🥰
RUclips has plenty of videos of cats in boxes, now it has moved on to harp twins in boxes! Either type leaves you with a big grin on your face. Your joy and excitement at the new harps was so infectious. And they are PRETTY!!!

We do not have our own harps. They have their own serial numbers (all professional harps do) but we do not pay attention to that. What is ours is ours. 😉😉💙💜

they make it seem easy, but there is much skill and know how involved in what they do .
congrats on your new harps... they look totally expensive. Love you both and your music. I keep an electric guitar solid body 6 string and a acoustic with twin pick-up's because different songs are best played with different instruments. My Taylor acoustic with the pickup's in side however is the dominate instrument.

The harps are beautiful but really nothing compared to what you do with them. Can't wait to hear your beautiful melodies coming from them. And still...the harps nor the music are as beautiful as you two. Be safe and enjoy your new harps.
Ive recently found your channel and I’m glad I did your work is amazing and your both so talented.
Random thoughts: Don't you wish you'd taken up the flute or violin by the time you got those unpacked? Those are way cool looking. I bet Jimi Hendrix would be impressed with those and use them to new psychedelic feedback music, if he were alive. You two are too cute. Off to listen to hows these baby's sound on Fade To Black
P.S. I bet those are expensive. On them being out of tune, I expect you found the strings to be a bit loose. I would guess that's to prevent warping or other damage during shipping. You never leave full tension on a guitar string during long storage to prevent warping the neck, for example.
This is such a fun first video for the new channel! At first I couldn't stop smiling, but my jaw dropped when I saw that first harp. Congratulations dear ladies, you deserve them and I can't wait to hear what you do with them.

It's really amazing to watch you both work together and your logic as twins. I am waiting on your CD to get here from Amazon to listen to it on my Home Speaker system, computer speakers don't do your strings any real justice, speaking at least for mine.
