  • Hey guys, in today's video you will see more parts to the Batterie Todt we explored in an earlier video, along with some other cool bunkers we found while roaming the French coast at night.
Hope you enjoy the video guys, and subscribe if you haven't already done so, see you next time 👋👍

Sorry if this video lacks in cinematics; it was getting very late and we therefore had limited time to explore everything we wanted to. Next week will be the first of a two part series of another huge French battery - it's a very unique one and contains structures found in few other areas. Hopefully you enjoyed the video, even if it was a bit shorter than usual. :)

Interesting as always. Quite atmospheric seeing that first one all wrecked - presumably blown up during the war - and then it's just been slowly crumbling and becoming overgrown since. Can't even begin to imagine the reality of living in the times when it was built and in use. Did you have a mystery 5th person at 06:05?!

Yeah mate, the whole place has been slowly collapsing since the end of the world war, which is a shame as the architecture really is amazing. Our fifth person was Gabe's Dad as he is the one who took us to France and drove us everywhere. Thanks for watching 👍

Ah kudos to him then! I was a bit worried you were going to say there were only ever the four of you and you didn't see a 5th person at the time ... that would have been your last night explore! :-)

😂😂 yeah, that would be pretty freaky, but I don't think it would be our last night explore even then, I happen to think doing explores at night is much more fun because of the spooky effect caused by being in an abandoned building while it's pitch black outside.

Yeah a lot more atmospheric - but harder to see what's what. Just watch where you're walking in the dark; don't want you falling into one of the many random holes these places seem to have!

That wouldn't be too great to be honest, falling down a hole in the dark. I think the reason everything was difficult to see is that it combined Lewis's action camera with a poor torch, which isnt too great in low light. Also, the camerawork was a bit quick, so next time we will try to hover over things for a longer time to make it easier to see what is going on

curious, i watched one of your videos where you found gear of people staying there, have you ever found others actually there exploring or residing or on a date?

Shame about access suppose the clasped battlement is what’s to come as the yeas pass

Yeah, unfortunately most structures are built to last, but not forever. It's a shame because eventually all the buildings we treasure will crumble, and that is sadly inevitable. Thanks for watching 👍
