Would love to see a “one and done” drugstore eyeshadow gauntlet. These videos where you apply multiple products of the same type are excellent and extremely helpful, not to mention super entertaining.
UPDATE: in practice, the About Face blush has won by a landslide over the past week. I just can't get enough of the texture and color. I apply it lightly with a fluffy brush. ALSO, the Undone Beauty palette actually has 3 different FORMULAS in the pan, all the same color but three levels of pigment. I just figured this out and will experiment with the lightest pigment formula and report back.
I loooove that About Face blush, it might be my favorite ever. I’m always checking to see if they’ve come out with more colors that will suit me when normally I don’t find blush that fun and just use it to keep from looking dead
I neeeed to jump in and say that the Elf camo blush in shade Suave Mauve is the one you want -- it's so good for fair olive skin, it has a slightly "old gum" grayish undertone that doesn't turn too pink. It's such a good formula, drugstore or otherwise, it's top tier.
I was just about to comment the same thing!!! I'm using it daily and the colour is sooo nice on pale olive/yellowish skin tones 🤍 unexpectedly since it looks a bit too dark on swatches, but it fades into a wonderful grayish mauve on the cheeks 💌 wonderful colour and formula
I would love black/grey/extreme cool toned brown lip gloss stand-off! Both drugstore and high-end (e.g. Isamaya and the one cool brown you showed in the "declutter").
I mean, truly, why have brands not contracted you to do their product naming?! You would SLAY at that. In fact, you and Joe together as a team, given his product rebranding video, would be a dream!
She absolutely should be a consultant for brands. They would benefit greatly as would the customers and she would get paid for all her knowledge and experience and appreciation for elegance. I hope one realizes this sooner than later!!!!🎉❤
I’m not a huge cream blush wearer but liquid blushes… no one beats the juicy-pang liquid blushes. They’re available on Amazon and yesstyle and less than $10, so over time I’ve gotten a little selection of them. Mix them together and/or with a liquid highlighter and I can get almost any color I could want (they unfortunately discontinued their super cool toned purple/pinks, blueberry and mulberry, a while ago, so that is missing from the range, a bummer to me because I have pretty cool toned skin). I apply them with my fingers, the formula is beautiful and buildable and glowy without being super shimmery. My best comparison is the nars liquid blush. Love them so much.
I was going to comment this. I have decluttered most of my blush collection because I only like using my Juicy Pang liquid blush. And the longevity of the pigment on my oily skin is unmatched 🙌
Here's my brilliant idea for a future video idea: have Joe place an assortment of blush products (or lip products, or even an assortment of makeup in general) into a container and have him cover the product (like I think you did one time in the distant past) from which you pull out an item, apply it to your face, and YOU GIVE IT A NAME. You have such a command of the English language, not to mention your affinity for poetry and the inherent beauty in language. What would YOU name these products? Certainly not dusty rosé.......
Your commentary on the shade names was the highlight of the video for me; I’d love a video where you gave your favorite products new, more poetic names.
Ethereal Grunge is trending in tiktok makeup circles atm and that kind of storyline feels so in your wheelhouse I'd love to see some you playing at getting ethereal and grungey.
Or in general a “unique shades at the drugstore” not just blushes? I find often drugstore lip and cheek products don’t have nuanced shades but then sometimes there’s a great find!
I think the Elf one is meant as a dusty rose , like dusty pink as in the flower. My daughter got married and part of her bridesmaid color palette was dusty pink , so I saw many versions of the color and that blush looks like it . I have it . Looks lovely on you !
I’m sure this is not the kind of comment you want, but I don’t even wear makeup, your voice just puts me to sleep 😂 I’m watching this video for the second time rn bc I’m about to take a nap
I don't know about other Undone Beauty products but this Lip To Cheek palette contains coconut EXTRACT, not coconut OIL. It's much more hydrating and lightweight, it's even partially soluble in water :) I hate coconut oil in skincare or haircare but I looove coconut extract!
For the Milani blush: I love it mainly to use when I'm not wearing any other makeup. It's so easy to do a quick 2 minute look. I put it on my cheeks, a little happdash since it can blend on clean skin nicely, a little on my lips, maybe my eyes, and then I slap on some mascara and I'm good to go. Maybe try using it on barer skin?? I do agree that is feel VERY thin and sloppy, but I find that nice to sheer out when you have nothing else on your face. On the lips, I suggest really moisturizing before hand, because it doesn't moisturize very well and can sink into crusty lip lines
It's so intriguing!! I have a cool toned complexion, so the colors you like will all look orange on me. But there are so many possibilities for things to tryyyy!! I find i prefer to use brushes for makeup, I've found, so things i dont have to dip into are my preference (i prefer to buff out with a brush only. Dipping into a cream with a brush feels like im going to make a mess.) This is the main reason I didn't like cloud paints. Thanks for the excellent reviews!
I would love to see a brow product battle at the drugstore! I, too, like a more ash-toned brown, a thin pencil and a stiff-hold gel. Because they last so long, however, I don’t really know how the ones I’ve tried in the past stand up next to each other. I’m just floating between brow products being mildly enthused or disappointed. Brows!
This made me super nostalgic for my early days on this channel when the blush looks were super dramatic and would end up everywhere (cheeks! nose! chin!) (it was adorable
Have to agree with some of the comments I’ve seen mentioning Honest Beauty as the best cream blush. I bought the shade Rose Pink when you said in one of your decluttering videos that it was a dupe for Rose Inc’s blushes. If you decide to do a sequel to this video, I’d be curious on your thoughts on the Flower Beauty blush bomb, specifically in Cheeky. It’s so gray and muted but it pulls so pretty and pink on my light/medium warm olive skin tone
This was so interesting!! I freaking loved that they actually all seemed great! 👏🏻👏🏻 Obviously different people will have preferences for different types of formulas, but just in terms of quality, they all seem good. It makes me very happy to see at the drugstore! 🌻✨
I know Hannah didn't like them since they're basically tinted petroleum jelly, but I really like the Makeup Revolution Beauty Balms that are (I think?) a dupe for the Jones Road. If you can find them and if you don't mind having "greasy" cheeks, they're beautiful
This was so much fun! I love cream blush and the Undone are my only drugstore brand; I'm pale/cool toned so their pinks and the red look best. I find them easy to blend and they do set down and last without looking dry or matte. FWIW I know the three stripes are supposed to be different intensities but they're very similar applied.
I had no idea Makeup Revolution was still in business. They used to be at my CVS but they are no longer there. I havent tried their stuff in at least 5 or 6 years. They were so hit or miss for me. I loved their radiance palette years ago. It was just like the hourglass powder. They also tried to copy Pat McGrath mothership palettes. I bought a couple of those and i really liked those too.
I have an about-face one, and I love it ; it makes me think of the canmake cream blushes I love so much too, it is very silicony in that way. The Milani one is my fave by far; but based on your comments, I think you would LOVE the Moira cream blushes; much stiffer, great staying power, good color selection, super cheap.
As a drugstore girl who's a sucker for cream blush - I loved this video! Last fall I went on a hunt for some new blushes but after getting the Elf Wands (in Candlelit and Magic Hour) I kind of gave it up because I love them, and the application is so quick and easy that I always find myself reaching for those two. I'm also pale with auburn hair (though my complexion has a more neutral/rosy undertone), so it's very convenient for me to have you try blushes in shades that would probably suit me as well 😁 As many Italians I'm a big fan of Kiko Milano, so let me mention their creamy stick blush, which is also very luminous and pretty. I'm definitely going to try the Elf Luminous Putty in Maui, which I feared would be too pigmented for me but actually looks lovely on your equally ghostly cheeks LOL ❤ Thank you for reviewing these products, even though several of them are not available in Europe it's been interesting to see how they compare.
Hannah! Please try the Made by Mitchell Curve Case palette in lighter than light! It has some fair olive bronze shades that are going to be perfect for you. I ordered them myself, wanted you to know about this!!!
My favourite cream blush is the Maybelline Cheek Heat in Nude Burn! I've never used Glossier Cloud paint but from packaging alone I think that's what they were trying to dupe. It's very pigmented on my extremely pale skin but I find the colour really natural and sunburny when you use a little and sheer it out, and to my eye it's a little grey out of the tube
The lip color you are wearing today is so beautiful. I feel like you've worn it and mentioned it on numerous occasions. I would love to know which one it is! Lovely. And I'm looking for the lip balm update video. Love that you love Burt's Dahlia. Long time favorite.
Yes to more drugstore! Concealor, foundation and blush are generally drugstore purchases for me. Mascara too but mascara is so good now so reviews are less helpful... I just get the newest rimmel one each time (UK girlie here). I prefer higher end for lip and eyeshadow as I have not had great luck at the drugstore for those.
Have you tried korean 'green' concealers? they are very green-adjacent but not quiet green - they mightbe a good olive shade for you :) the darkest one i know of is the saem cover perfect concealer in green beige. a lighter one is etude house big skin fit concealer proin neutrl mint. there are more if you wanna compare them but most seem close in shade to the etude so i would just try the saem and etude.
I would love to see you try to find desaturated/muted pale olive HLP-toned foundations and/ or concealers at the drug store. That seems like it would be a mammoth challenge, but if anyone can do it...
The Undone Beauty tri-level product is really nice, once you figure it out. I usually start with the strongest level and move to the lighter levels for touchups (if needed; there's some good pigment here!)or for lip color through the day. Love the video!
About Face Cowgirl has been my favorite blush of the summer, it looks so natural because it has that sort of skin like satin finish and it lasts well on me even when i don't set with powder.
I came to RUclips today specifically because I too, am desperately searching for a GOOD drugstore crème blush. And what’s funny is I think the luminous elf putty blush is my winner. I did try the elf liquid glow wand thing and I love them at first. But be warned because it works the best with the right brush. And that parts important. But this stuff SETS down once you blend it out. And if you don’t blend it well it can look like a streak of glowy color. And I blend well and it still ended up like thag on me. Didn’t even notice till half way the day multiple times. It might look blended well but in reality it wasn’t
I have to say I liked the Pacifica the best on you. It just looked like a very natural flush of color. I have never been a fan of them either. The things i bought from them were all duds.
Ooooooohhhhh Almost halfway through, looked in the description box and realized that almost all of them are cruelty free! 🥳🐇(if I recall correctly; only maybelline is not CF)
Hey Hannah! Was wondering if you’d be willing to bring back the time you had Joe cover up the labels of makeup and rename them! Would be an interesting experiment for you to try a bunch of blushes/ other categories of makeup without knowing where they’re from? Maybe do a battles of one high end and one drug store and see if you can guess which one is high end/ and see if it’s actually better without our inherent implicit bias! Hope things are beautiful with you and your family, cheers!
I adore that about-face blush! I had to declutter it because I got the Cowgirl color too, and it was way too warm for me. I can’t wear anything remotely orange!! I didn’t purchase another color yet because I have enough blushes, but it’s on my list for whenever I need another one!
Loved this video Hannah! I know your skin tone is super tough to match so it is hard to think of anything else except drugstore/amazon /YesStyle or Stylevana cream eyeshadow
I like the nyx wander stick, it’s creamy and you have two colours in one, I find the application it’s really natural looking but I don’t know if you’ll find a colour that you like
O m g ! I clicked this video because my FAVORITE HOLY GRAIL cheek product has been completely un-findable in every drugstore since I bought it and I can’t even find it online! And imagine my shock when the FIRST product you try is literally it! Nyx Sweet Cheeks in Nude Tude is the most flattering cheek product I have ever ever ever used. For reference, I’m an autumn with warm undertones and freckles. It looks amazing on me. Maybe you’re not loving it based on your neutral skin tone? You tend to like a more specific shade range. WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT? I need to restock!!!
I’m so interested in that undone blush! I have the Milani blush (I have a very very small collection) and it’s fine, it works but I feel like there is a better color and formula. I also don’t use brushes (I am not reliable when cleaning them so fingers it is) so I really enjoyed seeing how you apply with fingers too!
Hi Hannah! I haven’t even watched the video yet, but I just came to write a comment about something I’ve had at the back of my mind for some time now. Now that we’re talking about blush: I remember that a while back you mentioned maybe getting another shade of the Kjaer Weis Cream Blush. I have it in the shade Inner Glow, which is a kind of hard-to-describe colour, light nude/mauve with an almost purplish hint. I looks different and weird in all the pictures and I’m not really a fan of it myself, but when I have been using it I remember thinking that it might look best on someone who is very pale. I think there’s a chance you might like it. If you are still thinking about getting another colour of the Cream Blush you might want to try this one.
I switched to cream blush in my thirties (in fact I switched to cream everything in my 30s 😅). I wasn’t a big fan and just realised why! I always got the very thick and highly pigmented ones that I had to buff in with a brush when in fact I should get a liquidy / watercolour type. Can’t wait to play around with them!
Loreal lumi liquid blush😍 I use the coral color and I gave mauve to my much paler coworker. We love it! Not the glowy formula but the formula without shimmer. Highly recommend
omg - between this and the brown mascara you are hitting my makeup jackpot!!! woot!! alas, terracotta and even peach blushes go too orange on me (and mauves can be too purplely) so looking still for my perfect warm pink...
I was SHOCKED to discover that the Merit cream eyeshadow works as great blush/contour in one (for pale skin). The shade i bought looks like a flaming peach tone on my eyelids which was dissappointing. but i dont want to throw it away so i tried it on the very backs of my cheeks like where you'd put contour and its an amazing beige-nude blush/bronzer. the fact that it is a budge-proof crease-proof waterproof stubborn eye product that lasts all day on the eyes, means that it is insanely long-wear as a blush too. i use a super light Nars powder blush over top to bring a more appropriate colour to the fronts of my cheeks.
This was a fun video! I love seeing you get excited about makeup. And, I know someone beat me to this comment, but you and Joe should definitely collaborate on some beauty-product names. Or, if no one will hire you to do that, how about a video where you each name a few and we get to vote on which we like best? (And one of you would have to apply them, of course, so we can see how accurate as well as delightful the names are.) 🤎🤎🤎
Would love to see a “one and done” drugstore eyeshadow gauntlet. These videos where you apply multiple products of the same type are excellent and extremely helpful, not to mention super entertaining.

Hannah, how do these compare to the Salt New York blushes?
Agree. Love the About Face blush. There's a terracotta color and a plum berry that is dynamite.
@@emo333vampireI'm actually dying for Hannah to revisit the Salt NY or Kett palettes!
I loooove that About Face blush, it might be my favorite ever. I’m always checking to see if they’ve come out with more colors that will suit me when normally I don’t find blush that fun and just use it to keep from looking dead
How does that compare to the mac glow play blush
This wasn’t just a “Battle of the Blushes” but a war of words. Hannah won ❤
ooh yes, or drugstore neutral pallets
I neeeed to jump in and say that the Elf camo blush in shade Suave Mauve is the one you want -- it's so good for fair olive skin, it has a slightly "old gum" grayish undertone that doesn't turn too pink. It's such a good formula, drugstore or otherwise, it's top tier.
Came here to say this. It's become my everyday go to since I bought it months ago.
I have it, and it's ok, but doesn't compare to what it's duping, Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush.
I would love black/grey/extreme cool toned brown lip gloss stand-off! Both drugstore and high-end (e.g. Isamaya and the one cool brown you showed in the "declutter").
Agreed on this. Girlcult makes some really good greytones glosses
I mean, truly, why have brands not contracted you to do their product naming?! You would SLAY at that. In fact, you and Joe together as a team, given his product rebranding video, would be a dream!
Seconded. We need an eyeshadow called “some of its closest friends are green, you know”
She absolutely should be a consultant for brands. They would benefit greatly as would the customers and she would get paid for all her knowledge and experience and appreciation for elegance. I hope one realizes this sooner than later!!!!🎉❤
Pink Bubble!!!😜
I’m not a huge cream blush wearer but liquid blushes… no one beats the juicy-pang liquid blushes. They’re available on Amazon and yesstyle and less than $10, so over time I’ve gotten a little selection of them. Mix them together and/or with a liquid highlighter and I can get almost any color I could want (they unfortunately discontinued their super cool toned purple/pinks, blueberry and mulberry, a while ago, so that is missing from the range, a bummer to me because I have pretty cool toned skin).

They’re really pretty!! I love a bit of lavender tint in a couple of them!
Yes this is my blush as well!
Please try a bunch of black lip glosses. I’m obsessed with them and looking for the perfect one!
Hannah, thank you for reminding people to register to vote! I'm worried people will be too confident in a win; they opt not to vote, ruining it.
Your commentary on the shade names was the highlight of the video for me; I’d love a video where you gave your favorite products new, more poetic names.

weirdly enough, i love the fragrance of the product as well. subtle & fruity without being overbearing, and it blends like a dream.
hi, hannah! thanks for the great content! can you pleaseeeee do a 'unique blushes at the drugstore'???
Or in general a “unique shades at the drugstore” not just blushes? I find often drugstore lip and cheek products don’t have nuanced shades but then sometimes there’s a great find!

I love your videos on drugstore makeup!
Your verbal processing of the name dusty rose and then you turn as to truly ask the blush if that's what it's getting at? 💀😂❤️
I don't know about other Undone Beauty products but this Lip To Cheek palette contains coconut EXTRACT, not coconut OIL. It's much more hydrating and lightweight, it's even partially soluble in water :) I hate coconut oil in skincare or haircare but I looove coconut extract!

I searched and don't see a drugstore eyebrows video. I would 💗 to have your take on that or setting powders.
💞 the 80's movie-themed title.
SHOCKED you didn’t try the Honest Beauty ones! My favorite by FAR. I love the shade Plum Berry, it’s very Black Honey.
I have an about-face one, and I love it ; it makes me think of the canmake cream blushes I love so much too, it is very silicony in that way.

I'd love to see a drugstore eyeliner search, not liquid but gel or pencil! Especially a brown eyeliner, same vibes as brown mascara imo
Flower Beauty also has several liquid blushes. I enjoy them.
Another great video, Hannah! This was so entertaining. Also, I feel like the brows are werking for you in this video. Beauty queen!

Ooooooohhhhh
Almost halfway through, looked in the description box and realized that almost all of them are cruelty free!
Hope things are beautiful with you and your family, cheers!
honest beauty blushes are fab.
I adore that about-face blush! I had to declutter it because I got the Cowgirl color too, and it was way too warm for me. I can’t wear anything remotely orange!! I didn’t purchase another color yet because I have enough blushes, but it’s on my list for whenever I need another one!
I love everything about face!
Loved this video Hannah! I know your skin tone is super tough to match so it is hard to think of anything else except drugstore/amazon /YesStyle or Stylevana cream eyeshadow
Could you review some MCoBeauty dupes vs their luxury counterparts??
28 SECONDS ago. I love HLP + drugstore!
I absolutely love this format of video 💜 I like the milani blushes quite a bit, but I really wish they came in more muted neutral shades
I’m so surprised you didn’t include honest beauty!
You need to try the honest beauty cream blush. It's the best!
Love the Elf wand the best.
For your tinted lip balm hunt, you need to give the new Phytosurgence ones a go! From their description, they might be THE ONE!
I have always been curious about the purple About Face blush💜
It may not be your fave, but that NYX mousse is so gorgeous I think you sold me on it.
The way you dispensed the Halo Glow 🤣
I would love love love a search for the best taupe eyeliner with a good tip etc. 😊
'Mousse' makeup always felt like it gets dirty faster and dries out faster than other types of makeup, I could just never get into it
I was SHOCKED to discover that the Merit cream eyeshadow works as great blush/contour in one (for pale skin).
Elf should be the winner!!!
Would love a search for truly neutral complexion products at the drugstore! Would be a challenge!
I would love another video of "Joe names my makeup". Seriously so fun and funny.
