The Jeep Cherokee XJ's capabilities shown in this video are a tribute to its engineering and the spirit of adventure it embodies.

If you want to reclaim the lost power my cheap intelligent response is add a 2 to 3 inch throttle body spacer and a spector or k&n air filter. My xj runs like a spaceship, even my dad had me do the same to his Wrangler.

That's a nice looking XJ. I wish you had spent a little more time on the lift kit installation.

I was curious about that too because I'm waiting for Rusty's 3 inch lift for my turbo diesel XJ. :-)

@@V8AmericanMuscleCarit's almost half a decade past this comment being posted but I'll bet you were very happy w that 3" Rusty's lift. Why does an Internet stranger say something like that? Because,5 years ago ,I installed a 3" Rusty's spring pack & lift kit on my XJ. I still am running it & it was one of the best aftermarket hardware for a jeep I've experienced. My xj OEM suspension had 310k miles on it & was very very dead. Rusty's for XJ stuff....

I guess the control arms are no longer part of the kit according to rustys website.

I already see the installer doing a big NO NO. Never tighten the controller arms with jeep is lifted. Always tighten when jeep is sitting on the ground.

They are tightening the bolts on the alignment rack with the Jeep sitting on weight, not up in the air. I was tight on those shots, so it's harder to see that.
