Hey all, this took longer than expected - whoops 😂. There were a couple of possibilities put forward here, do share which you think is more likely or if there is a different option not presented. Be safe all and have a great week 👍
i only read about this one a couple of months ago and it's a tough one to work out🤷 would love to know your main theory, i watched a documentary on it but no conclusion was drawn just questions.
I'd like to recommend a better translation service/app than Google translate - Papago. I've found it to be far more accurate than Google translate! It has both a mobile app as well as a website, and you can either input using a keyboard, copy/paste, or if you have a touch screen, by drawing symbols for a given language's alphabet. Great video as always! :)
@@blueshiftrobs Hey Blue, I honestly don't know. It's difficult to explain why it affected everyone at the same time in the same way. Perhaps ingesting something would be my go to answer, but again I'm not actually sure it would affect all of them at the same time
I'm a retired detective and a former soldier. Nerve agents can stay dormant. If the only survivor did not come in direct contact. When I first heard of this case the story stated that they had been digging for roots. It's possible that they dug into contaminated areas.
I'm with you on this. I heard a horrible story of a couple walking their dog and he came upon an agent used for foxes and such. It caused the dog to hemorrhage and die.
yea i was wondering about that because don't nerve agents in general follow virus logic? I.E. if it is airborne it unlikely to be touch or water borne well unless something changes? I was wondering how the snow got in there systems and affected everyone except one person. so i was wondering how the agent got from the snow into there system, whether they breathed it in from the vapors or drunk it. Yet the roots would make more sense dirt and roots would be contaminated so they would only have to touch it to there lips? Although does that mean everyone touched the infected person and that is why they got sick then what about the survivor? Hmm odd
I’m a nurse and I specifically work in the realm of patients with pulmonary (lung) issues. Pulmonary edema has to be caused by something it’s not a stand-alone diagnosis. Hypothermia is also ridiculous because everyone would experience it at different times and wouldn’t all die at the same time. This rightly and truly sounds like poison, but from what? It’s eerie and I have a weird feeling the lone survivor isn’t telling the whole story.
The key element to this case is that everyone suffered EXTREME physical breakdown/death at the same point and time. If it was the hypothermia/malnutrition theory those people would have succumbed at different times because everyone's metabolism is different. And it would have been similar for food poisoning. It sounds like they walked into some kind of contamination - either in the ground or airborne! And the description of the death-throes are classic neurotoxins symptoms!
If they had walked through a patch of Wolfsbane or something like that & come into a lot of contact with the leaves they could have absorbed neurotoxins. But if it was cold it would seem unlikely as their skin would have been covered. If they were already weakened they might have been affected faster by any poison. Someone walking a little further to one side might not have touched the same plants at all. If they were making hot food they might possibly have gathered wood which was poisonous in nature. In warmer regions of the world there have been mysterious incidents of whole groups of people on remote beaches dying because they used some poisonous twigs to skewer their food before cooking it over the fire.
The odds of all 6 succumbing to anything within minutes of each other is astronomical. Especially considering the survivor who was at ground zero. Nerve agents would have affected all. But what if Valentina was on medication. Like antibiotics either before or at the time of the trip? Could this have protected her?
To me the only question is natural neurotoxin or man made. The survivor never ingested whatever it was or was just in the right place and made the right moves to survive. Basically luck.
Physician here. The rabies theory is not feasible, to put it kindly, for all the reasons you cited, Adam. Delirium from any stressful medical event can cause strange behavior (e.g. biting, head bleed). The nerve agent hypothesis makes good sense based on described autopsy findings.
The nerve agent theory is least plausible.. this happend in summer.. said to be peak season for hiking. So with all the other hikers around, seems like someone else, in another group, would have been effected too.. and there was one surviver left..
This one always gets to me -- I'm in camp poisonous mushroom theory as even cooked mushrooms that are poisonous can lead to organ failure. I always think about my cousin and how she hates mushrooms and will never eat them and I wonder if Valentina also didn't ever eat them. Also, several species of mushroom can easily be mistaken for one another, so I feel it's likely. -- Either way, great video!
@@loredanadincu7930 Well I'm not sure muscarine poisoning would be something done in a standard lab panel -- are you familiar with what they tested for? Also, what were the stomach contents? -- but please know I'm not sending you any negativity or disrespect -- agree to disagree!
@@teaspoonsofpeanutbutter6425 look up muscarine poisoning -- I came off kind of jerky in my reply to Loredana so I'm going to make an edit -- please don't take any offense in my asking you to look up one of the four types of poisoning from mushrooms
@stormy weather you know, there could be so many different solutions and we don't have the key information to be sure or mostly sure -- I really appreciate your kind words -- and upon reflection, now I feel like other theories hold a high likelihood as well
@@MissingVoidTV Yeah, now that I know you're my daughters age, I have to stop enjoying looking at you. hahaha Thanks for another fantstic video. Oh, what if that lady is actually a serial killer and that was a great cover story? :-) jk
Imagine seeing this happen. Wtf this sounds like a nightmare. Everyone around you is dropping like flies out of nowhere w these strange behaviors and symptoms and you're the only one unaffected. I would be questioning my own sanity at that point or wondering if someone slipped a drug into my food or drink
I would go so crazy that when I came into contact with unaffected people I would be like “DON’T TOUCH ME YOU MIGHT BE INFECTED” and freak everyone out!
And now imagine needing to sleep after that not far away from where the distorted bodies of your group are and having to approach them to gather everything you can get for your own survival...
I've seen several videos on this recently, and as always, Adam put in the hard work doing the research to bring us the facts and dispel the rumors. That is why Top Mysteries is the best channel in this genre.
If you have a chance and I've suggested this on a few channels, to do a clip about Loftus Hall on the Hook peninsula in Ireland. It's an intriguing story 👍
When I saw I got a RUclips notification or two and saw Mr Ballen had posted, I immediately clicked it (there is a reason he's so popular) but when I saw that the other notification was from you, I decided that I could finish his video later. How you don't have more subscribers is beyond me.

I have an answer that doesn`t require mystery: The Symptomes described almost perfectly match High Altitude Pulmunary Edeme. This is known to occure in hickers that have ascendet fast to 8000+ feet, and stayed there for a while (for example a night). One of the typical late-stage symptomes is bloody foam coming from the mouth and nose and coughing up blood. Other`s are raspy coughing fits, general feeling of weakness, finally coma followed by death. The first step when signs are shown is to descend FAST. The Khamar Daban is high enough to reach these critical levels. Extreme Cold and increased barometric pressure can increase the chances of this occuring. Ludmilla might have been woken up by someone in her party having a sudden raspy cough, realizing the symptomes, and immediatly ordering everyone to descend, but it was too late.
This is the hypothesis that I find most likely. Two questions, though, if I may: could this develop in practically all of them simultaneously, and does it also explain the psychotic behaviour?
@@irena4545 Glad you asked :) Yes, it could occure in all of them at once. There`s studies that state that Altitude Pulmunary Edema has genetic clustering, meaning people from the same area have a higher chance of being genetically pre-disposed for it. Since they all came from the same country and possibly (I havn`t looked that up) from the same area of that country, it would be consistent. There`s pretty specific circumstances in which APE occurs, all of them (or at least most) would experience symptomes at the same time. Since APE causes lack of oxygene in the brain Psychotic Behavior is also consistent. This is worsened by the fact that they likely also experienced mild to severe hypothermia, which also causes Psychotic Behavior.
@@ArikGST Wow, that was prompt :-) Thanks for the clarification. I think that this is the most plausible explanation, as it requires no conspiracy theories, supernatural phenomena and the like, and Valentina was the sole survivor because her genes granted her better resistance to the conditions. I especially like your reasoning why Ludmilla had them all packing to descend in the morning - this is not the first video of this incident that I have seen and there was definitely a sense of urgency, and perhaps even unexpectedness, to her decision. I am wondering: if weather conditions increase the chances of this happening, does this also mean that the syndrome can occur at a bit lower altitude than you would normally expect? As an experienced hiker, Ludmilla must have been aware of the existence of APE, and would not have had the kids stay in the known risk zone.
@@irena4545 Educated Guess: With extreme cold weather and strongly affected barometric pressure, I would assume that the danger zone can rise or fall a certain amount. Probably only by a couple hundred feet, maybe to as low as 7500 feet in extreme cases. The speed of the ascend also matters a lot. From what I have heard, Ludmilla was pushing pretty hard, they were going fast. That was likely the more impactful factor. The mountain IS higher than 8000 feet at the highest peak, so they were definitly close to the threshold. This is going into speculation territory, but maybe Ludmilla didn`t know how high exactly the mountain was, or she misjudged.
@@ArikGST I looked up the numbers - they had reached (quite fast) Retranslyator Peak, 7550ft, and were caught by bad weather already descending, so, in theory, they should have been safe. Must have been a combination of factors that Ludmilla hadn't foreseen.
I'm not a medical professional, but I do have a bit of formal medical study, including pathology, and a fair amount of informal medical education too. I'll say without reservation that it wasn't rabbies. Even if by an incredibly random chance, all the hikers began to present symptoms at the same time, the disease is degenerative over a period of time. You don't start foaming at the mouth one minute, banging your head on a rock the next, and keel over dead the minute after that. It takes weeks, and sometimes months for death to occur; the symptoms are much more acute and terrible, and the final stage before death is a coma. The short time between the onset of symptoms and death similarly rules out altitude sickness and pulmonary edema as a sole cause too (which the Russian doctors ought to have known, but we'll get to that). It's very unlikely that all but one of the hikers would present symptoms at the same time, but not entirely impossible. What is impossible--or close enough to call it as such--is the idea that literally minutes after they began to show distress every one of those otherwise young, healthy, strong people, who were acclimatized to high altitudes, was dead. Assuming the survivor's description of the symptoms and timeline are basically, accurate, the only thing that answers the symptoms and the rapidity with which they set in is an outside neurological toxin of some sort. It's entirely possible that...what was it? Six of seven people? Seven of eight? Whatever the exact number, it's entirely possible that all but one of the hikers were exposed to toxin, with the lone survivor escaping any serious effects. Look at the Tokyo subway terrorist attacks, which occurred in the 90s, for an unsettling case study on the effects and distribution of said effects from the weaponized nerve gas sarin. Consider this possible scenario: the hikers couldn't make a fire due to the weather conditions the night before their deaths, but the next day, shortly before they became sick, they had managed to get one lit. We know that nerve gas can be absorbed into wood; the person/people who actually handled the wood probably sickened first, which included the guide, and the others followed shortly after as they inhaled and were touched by the smoke. But one of the hikers had the good fortune to stay entirely upwind of the smoke, and so nothing happend to her. No one paid any attention to the fire in the chaos, of course, and by the time anyone got back to the site, the danger had literally blown away in the wind. How the toxin got into the environment is hard to say, but likely it was through carelessness of the part of some government entity--not unheard of, especially in Russia, and not something the Russian government would be eager to make public, I'd imagine, and so we get the official autopsy findings of death due to pulmonary edema. The chances of another group of people in such a remote area having the very bad luck to encounter contaminated wood are very low, so the Russian government doesn't really need to worry about a repeat of the scenario. That's certainly an unlikely story, but the events we know about for certain are themselves unlikely, so I don't think it strains credulity to explain them with a strange narrative, especially when it's the best one I can think of to account for the physical symptoms.
Thank you for that analysis. I mean if you were to dispose of such nerve agent, you would do it in a remote area where you don’t expect anyone to frequent. This was a good spot. Also, you look around and think that if anyone is to cross through here and were to set up a camp, they would surely do it at the forest line not the wide open area. Furthermore there was a known survivor spot close by with wood and everything needed for camping. Well, little did they know how let’s say “determined” Korovina was.
One possible explanation, I've always thought, for why Lyudmila didn't lead the party into the forest is that she may have used the foul weather as a teaching opportunity on survival in harsh conditions when there is no cover. I've read about this incident and watched several videos and short documentaries covering it, and from what I've gathered she seemed like the type of person to have done such a thing. Indeed, to me it seems like the obvious explanation, given the facts. I realize a lot of people who take an interest into mysteries such as this one tend to lean in favor of the most bizarre explanations, such as aliens, spirits, monsters, and government conspiracies, but I believe that such nonsense does the victims a disservice. As for what happened, I am of the opinion that a dormant nerve agent or perhaps poison was involved. It's the most fitting explanation, especially given the locale. I don't believe that soldiers intentionally tested it on Lyudmila's group, rather that it was accidentally ingested by all members of the party, Valentina excluded. I'm not married to the theory, but it's the one I'm sticking with until something more plausible happens along.
Imo, i think she had them in the clearing to teach them survival in those conditions.. if there was "danger" in the forest, why was she trying to get there for safty when things got bad..?? And i think they were prob more malnourished than lead to think. Idk how it works in Russia, but during autopsy here, a tox report is done also.. I think she just pushed them too hard.. and i remember the only survivor saying she didnt know how long it took for this to happen, so maybe not quite "all at once"
@@melissapyle7879 because she realized the area they were in was the danger zone and realized her mistake too late. They should of settled in the forest but she didn’t which lead to most their demise
@@melissapyle7879 the only survivor was documented saying they had lots of food, that they brought enough for over 2000 calories a day, in rice, beans, nuts, dried fruit and even chocolate...she said on top of that they were eating anything they could farm along the way, WHICH was part of their training! That WASN'T it....it was EITHER sour gas NATURALLY seeping from the mountain or that screwed up sarin gas! Textbook sarin gas symptoms.... foaming at the mouth, seizures, EXTREME sweating or death from pneumonia or INSTANT cardiac arrest and endless similar symptoms..... This Is what happened, IMO
I agree, the USSR often failed to follow proper safety protocols and procedures. Not to mention flat out falsified documents. I can see where some highly toxic materials was to be properly disposed of, but instead of burying it properly. It was improperly disposed of and leaked (or spilled) out and contaminated the surrounding area. How did Valentina avoid being affected? There are a ton of scenarios. Like you, I am not completely sure of this explanation. Its just what makes the most sense to me.
Yay! I requested that one, which I am sure others did too, so I was very happy to see it posted. The theory that rain washed in some sort of dangerous substance into the area or water contamination I have not heard of yet, I find it very plausible! 👏Thank you Adam, as always, very informative and intriguing.

Valentina's account of everything is probably off a little bit you go through something like that it would be hard to remember everything exactly as it happened. I think it's very likely that they all ingested something and Valentina didn't for some reason there are things that happen on this world that we just can't figure out. 🤔💯
Like your detailed work translating original reports getting as close as possible with what we know. Some videos are quick to focus on dramatic hemoraging as if a big cinema horror.
This is a weird one for sure. I kind of feel like breakfast is where it all began, and perhaps the leader of the group wanted to push the limits of her students and decided not to go into the forest. It is very strange that only the one girl survived. Maybe if they hadn't taken so long to search for them ,they would have a better idea of stomach content etc. I've heard about this incident before but not nearly as well or thoroughly told. Thank you Adam!
The rapid onset of the symptoms and the simultaneousness of their deaths sounds like something that acts fast, like nerve agents. Valentina must have not come in contact with it.
@@MissingVoidTV Living in England (sounds like you do too) we have had the misfortune to see what Russian nerve agents do to victims over the last few years+it seems a lot more drawn out process(with loss of hair, teeth+weight) i do agree with people tbat Valantina isn't telling the whole story wether deliberately or because of trauma

Crazy, man. Talk about succinct. I was just reading and refreshing my memory how about this strange situation of multiple spontaneous deaths a couple of days ago. I'm leaving a comment before I even watch! Thank you I eagerly anticipate each one of your documentaries! You and Bob gimlin are the best storytellers I've ever heard!!
When I heard that many unfortunate Chinese ultra marathon athletes died from the sudden ice storm and rapidly dropping temperatures at high altitude their symptoms reminded me of the same symptoms in this video. So sad.
How similar were the symptoms? The group were also strained and weaken being pushed to the max. Maybe it weakened their bodies so they couldn’t handle it
I find this one weirder. How 1 person survived with nothing happening to them? Why? Odd🤔well, apart from the obvious mind scrambling she must have endured!
@@MissingVoidTV right? Plus, I've seen comments elsewhere where folk have suggested she was responsible, poisoned them all etc. What an awful experience.
@@teaspoonsofpeanutbutter6425 Yeah, I've seen them too and while it's obviously possible, I'd just like to see some evidence, which I suppose would also be impossible to find
@@MissingVoidTV well you'd think that would have been checked at the time, anything weird in their system. And presumably nothing was found if she hasn't been scrutinized for it. But who would know!
Great breakdown. I'm with you that it had to be something enviromental or ingested to have all those symptoms happen at the same time to (nearly) the entire team followed by a sudden death. (Personally I lean towards fast acting nerve agents, if you're to believe Valentina's account fully truthful, which I'd like to believe I do.) The thing that always through a wrench in this story is you never hear (or maybe I just missed it) Valentina's personal reason or opinion for why the team made camp where they did and not descend to cover in the forest. That's the biggest mystery to me. You would think they had some discussion about it, being an extremely important decision to make at the time. From that point on, combined with seemingly "lacked" official autopsy report, and the fact that the sole survivor doesn't currently (if she's still around) or never elaborated her account further, or again - All that really pushes me towards: "they saw something they weren't supposed to see and that was the official story, now be quiet about it" kind of deal. Just my 2¢. Thanks for going into detail with these mysteries. It seriously shows that you must spend a ton of time researching this stuff. It's appreciated!
I also believe she is telling the truth. Someone else pointed out that she closed their eyes after they died and if it was a nerve agent that killed the rest of the group then she would have come in contact w it when she did that. Just thought I'd bring that up. Such a strange case
I think Occam's Razor in this scenario would suggest that her testimony isn't accurate, as the autopsies and conditions don't work with any reasonable explanation. There's something else to this incident that I think we'll never know unless she tells us.
Amazing, as usual! You totally rock it when it comes to finding all information from credible sources and I LOVE how you give ALL sides of a story. It's perfect, flawless and completely TV show worthy! You're awesome!
Definitely the most in depth look and presentation of the physical evidence I’ve seen of this incident. Idk why the algorithm hasn’t put me onto this channel till now but I love it. Especially the look into the theories without delving into the “spirits or aliens did it” bs you normally get. Can’t wait to journey into your other videos.
Amazing video!!! Ty for being so thorough. I've never heard of this case before and found it very intriguing. In my opinion, there is a reason that animals avoid areas such as the one they camped at, Idk what that reason is and neither does anyone else, but if all other life forms instinctively know to stay away, THERE IS A GOOD REASON! That in itself is good enough for me! I wanna guess that maybe Valentina might hv been on the perimeter of that area,Maybe, or possibly had been more respectful of the space than the rest. Reminds me of the movie The Happening...
I am a bit late to the party, but found your presentation of the evidence extremely well done. My personal opinion has always been that of a dormant nerve agent that was reactivated and/or even transported by the heavy rains of the monsoon. All the symptoms fit far too well. As for why Valentina was left alive, its possible she simply avoided the reactivated nerve agent by pure chance. I always felt it was telling that Denis didn't become symptomatic until after he hid behind the boulder on the ground. He was fine until then. As for why they chose to camp there, I believe it was either a training exercise (in line with Ludmilla's 'tough love' form of instruction) or they simply didn't see the woods. Valya did say that visibility was very limited at the time.
The fact that the video states that they’re aren’t any wildlife in this area clearly proves that this area is inhabitable but I’m afraid we’ll never know the exact reason or reasons why. Nonetheless this is a very intriguing story & one that will leave many questions unanswered for years to come.
This has wracked my mind since I first discovered it, years ago. I’ve spent so many nights, just going down and continuing down, internet wormholes. It’s making me want to go back to school AGAIN, so I have access to certain things I do not as a civilian. Possibly to become a scientist. There are too many curiosities and infinite wonder on this planet. I thought as an artist, becoming a graphic designer would be a way for me to be creative, while earning an income. I wish before you begin a subject in school- there would show you 5 possible outcomes or realities of the job(s) you think you would possibly get. Here in the US it’s beyond frustrating. And sends you thousands and thousands of dollars into debt. Everything just makes you feel like a slave in the end. I’ve never fit into the correct shape. I’ve always been a circle trying to fit into the square. It’s so hard when you have SO MANY VARIED INTERESTS that you just glitch and can’t move. I love doing research too. Especially on anomalies, and cold cases. Thanks for sharing!
Just catching up today on this one... fantastic, btw! I was one of I assume many?- who; after learning about the other, more well known Dyatlov Pass incident was stunned, stumped and couldn’t get it out of my mind or stop looking for more information for WEEKS afterwards. I am a retired nurse of 32 years... and I’ve seen my share of patients suffer pulmonary edema. But never were they preceded by the symptoms Valentina reported. Nor are those symptoms discussed in the texts as a precursor to death by pulmonary edema. Not as she describes. I can only lean toward the nerve agent theory after watching, but: and I ask this with a very limited knowledge of nerve agents- could they not have been TESTED for nerve agents in their systems?? Furthermore, was Valentina not ASKED what she might have done differently during the groups time together? ie; what did YOU eat/drink? What did THEY eat/drink? Was there any discussion of something to be feared in the forest below? One thing’s for certain: NO ONE should be trekking up there. These are not just unfortunate incidents of accidents that can occur in the wilderness, these are nightmarish horrific deaths. In both cases. May they all rest in peace. Thanks, TM!!
I’m an RN. As soon as I heard bloody foam from mouth, I said that’s pulmonary edema. I noticed the report said lung bruising. They don’t mention how that happened. Also if she was banging her head on stones she should have had injuries. I thought they said no injuries were found. I’m seeing a lot of contradictions..
Yeah, that's really odd. There was also a delay in sending a search party with the dyatlov pass incident. If I remember correctly, it took a month after their expected return date before one was sent.
I'll have to re watch this later, been in and out. But I really want you to know that I just love your videos! Your researching is so thorough wish you had more videos, but wouldn't want to trade the quality. Lol ✌️
There's a young man missing in north Wales at the moment called Frankie Morris. No sign of him now for 18 days, other than his abandoned bicycle near where he was last seen walking past a pub in a small Welsh village.
As always you did a great job researching and presenting this story, it site does leave of with a whole lot of questionsand speculation and don't seem to give any strait forward answers. Definitely intriguing ..
I have heard this story before. But you have definitely added some key points. There’s no telling what Valentina really knows and what the Russian authorities allowed her to say about the experience.Another great video. Thanks
It’s all pretty simple, as far as I can see. The survivalist instructor is a known hard ass, so she has her group camp on an exposed mountain side, teaching them survival techniques in harsh conditions where there may not be a handy forest nearby next time. It’s pretty obvious that they all ingested something, bad water, bad mushrooms whatever. And the obvious explanation is that the survivor didn’t drink the same water - or maybe just doesn’t like mushrooms. It must have been something they ingested, otherwise there wouldn’t be a single survivor. As to why it took two weeks to send rescue, well, it’s Russia. Someone reports a bunch of death in the wilderness with foaming at the mouth and violent behaviour - and no one is going to rush out to see what happened. Like anyone hearing this wild tale - their first thought is maybe it’s a military thing, and no one in Russia wants to get in front of crap like that. One local cop after another would have kicked it up the chain of command until everyone was sure that the military weren’t involved, or that they’d had plenty of time to clean up their mess if they’re were. As to autopsies, well, corpses exposed for two weeks and likely predation by local wildlife - realistically how much information could really be gleaned?
The bodies looked fine, discoloured but intact. Though they wear a face of excruciating pain. No aminal predation. Some had they're shoes off which I find strange. They just dropped dead, some are bent backwards over boulders.
Takes a sincere lack of integrity to care so little for the truth of things, setting things right by the fallen, and finding justice for families of the victims. Pretty cowardly behavior of a society if what you're suggesting is true.
Nerve gas residue and lowered immune systems, seem to be the most likely IMHO. Notice that Valya was the only one not to have their head near the ground, in the incident area.

Excellent research here Adam, and very professionally presented. I have come across this case a few times in the past, and never reached an absolute conclusion. There is a lot in the mix here, and also being shortly after the breakup of the Soviet Union, information could have got mixed up. More than likely not just one event happening here, but a combination with one being the dominant factor. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
This is going get bizarre, so let’s get into it: The lamp in the background, which changes colors on your jump cuts, is brilliant. It keeps a viewer’s eye alert. It’s so subtle at times, the variation acts as a segue for one’s attention span. You must have planned it, because it looks as though it’s meant to .......... SQUIRREL! Seriously, I subscribed some time ago and truly appreciate your approach to explaining these events. I understand the effort required to produce in this manner, so as well I wanted to thank you. Well done.
This is one of the most fascinating mysteries of which I have ever heard. Thank you for your work to produce this video. I had never heard of this incident before. The first thing that occurred to me when I heard of frothing at the mouth was rabies. But the manner in which they all but one succumbed with the same symptoms at close to the same time makes the unwitting exposure to a nerve agent the most likely explanation in my opinion. Very interesting and also tragic.
I’m so glad RUclips gives us all the ‘context’ of the Dyatlov Pass incident in the form of a Wikipedia link. After all, none of us can do our own research if we’re interested.
The video is great, as always!I just wanted to offer some more details I found in the reports about the incident. The rescuer you mentioned, Yuri Golius, also stated that during the investigation they checked the last known place where the group had their meal. The rescuers found just one empty can of canned stewed meat, no candy wrappers, nothing else. It led them to believe that the group of seven shared just this one can before continuing their hike. If it is true they must have been starving, as the loads in the hike were enormous. And (not as if it was really relevant to the incident, just a small remark) it seems like Natalia Korovina wasn't leading the other group, but was just one of the members, as she was only 16 at that time. Thanks for your videos anyway, they are awesome!
Are there any foods-roots, mushrooms-that would cause hemorrhaging and foaming at mouth? She says she doesn’t know how long it took, but it seems it happened fairly quickly, which seems like poison or toxins. P.S thank you so much for being precise with language and not furthering the bleeding from the ears thing. Why do people even make RUclips videos if they haven’t even researched it?
Hey all, this took longer than expected - whoops 😂. There were a couple of possibilities put forward here, do share which you think is more likely or if there is a different option not presented.

@@blueshiftrobs Hey Blue, I honestly don't know. It's difficult to explain why it affected everyone at the same time in the same way. Perhaps ingesting something would be my go to answer, but again I'm not actually sure it would affect all of them at the same time
@@MissingVoidTV yes it's a complex case. i smell a cover up what with the 1 surviving girl. something doesn't add up.
Yeah that's a fair proposal. I should have mentioned the roots in that case. Damn, actually kicking myself over that one
Very interesting. 👀
Great thought 💯
yea i was wondering about that because don't nerve agents in general follow virus logic? I.E. if it is airborne it unlikely to be touch or water borne well unless something changes?
Sounds like a nerve agent or something
Or rabies if they all ate or touched the same thing same time
Physician here.

@@ArikGST Wow, that was prompt :-)
Thanks for the clarification.
They may have also dumped poison before the area became a tourist hotspot.
This is the most thorough account I've ever heard on this one...good job...

Very reasonable explanation.
@@melissapyle7879 because she realized the area they were in was the danger zone and realized her mistake too late. They should of settled in the forest but she didn’t which lead to most their demise

(Personally I lean towards fast acting nerve agents, if you're to believe Valentina's account fully truthful, which I'd like to believe I do.)
The thing that always through a wrench in this story is you never hear (or maybe I just missed it) Valentina's personal reason or opinion for why the team made camp where they did and not descend to cover in the forest.
"Threw* a wrench"?
I think Occam's Razor in this scenario would suggest that her testimony isn't accurate, as the autopsies and conditions don't work with any reasonable explanation. There's something else to this incident that I think we'll never know unless she tells us.
I agree 100%
Can you explain what you think actually may have happened? I considered this as well.
Great video! Thank you for your amazing work
Amazing, as usual! You totally rock it when it comes to finding all information from credible sources and I LOVE how you give ALL sides of a story. It's perfect, flawless and completely TV show worthy! You're awesome!
very eerie and mysterious case; RIP to the team. 🌷
Sounds like a nerve or biological agent .
Great upload, thank you!
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it
Please come back. I miss your stories so much, your my absolute favorite! Xoxoxo
Great video Adam thanks stay safe
New story for me; great job! Thank you
I learn so much from your channel. Wow, this one is really bizarre. Those poor kids died a horrible death. My heart goes out to them.
Really enjoyed your podcast. Very interesting case to be sure.
Thank you for such a detailed presentation, you put in so much work and I'm always impressed by that.
Hi Adam! I 💜💜💜💜 your videos!! 😁
Hiya Randi! and thank you 💜!
Hi Adam. Always a great day when you upload. Cheers from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🦝
Cheers from Calgary
Lol hey guys. And cheers from eastern Ontario!
@@patlangdon1015 oh Canada 🇨🇦!!!
Watched this on my lunch break nice one thanks 😊
I can't get over them waiting two weeks to conduct a search. I find this very odd.
I've not heard about that. How awful for his loved ones. I hope he is found safe and well.
HEY Adam! Where ya been? Hope you are doing well. Thank you for this!☺️☺️👏👏❤️❤️❤️
As always you did a great job researching and presenting this story, it site does leave of with a whole lot of questionsand speculation and don't seem to give any strait forward answers. Definitely intriguing ..
I have heard this story before. But you have definitely added some key points. There’s no telling what Valentina really knows and what the Russian authorities allowed her to say about the experience.Another great video. Thanks
How long ago did this happen?
Who could dislike this? Totally interesting and mind blowing. Also his accent is amazing.
Looking forward to this one tonight after work!
The close timing strongly points to gas. Gas could also account for one member not being affected if she was the right distance away, upwind maybe.
I do suspect she was more upwind, and that’s why she survived due to luck. Hopefully no one brought gas agents or my were left at that area.
Nerve gas residue and lowered immune systems, seem to be the most likely IMHO. Notice that Valya was the only one not to have their head near the ground, in the incident area.
I think you should take sponsors, even news channels take sponsors and adverts. You're doing work to get these stories out there and we all appreciate it, you should get paid for your time. It's good to hear things that msm won't tell us. You're not a bad person for taking money so you can better and spend more time on getting videos out. We like your channel and want you to get paid for it. You're just reporting, not taking advantage. We know you care about every case you report on. And love that you're from the UK! Love your content!
Stay safe.
This is going get bizarre, so let’s get into it:
The lamp in the background, which changes colors on your jump cuts, is brilliant.
I'm finding my self wondering back to listening to you.
I’m so glad RUclips gives us all the ‘context’ of the Dyatlov Pass incident in the form of a Wikipedia link.
After all, none of us can do our own research if we’re interested.
Hopefully the algorithm will bless you brotha!
Interesting video. Liked it. 👍🙂
Thank God, I've been looking forever for a video on this incident told by someone with a British accent. 👍
