      That's because (ـة) has the characteristics to be either: (ت) or (هـ) in pronouncing .. it depends on a rule called «the rule of stopping»

    hey, amazing work.
    but I assume you mean "prepositions" rather than particles
    particles as far as I know are functional words/adverbs/propositions on of them selves that when added to verbs inflect/enhance/differ its meaning. like " clean (up) ", "work (out)" here up and out are the particles.

      in Arabic we have different types of «particles - حرف» not only «preposition - حرف الجر» .. like: «Conditional particle - حرف شرط»/«Emphasis particle-حرف توكيد»/«Negation particle-حرف نفي»

      Jazakum Allah khayran .. there are aome references you can get back to it to be certain of the information I said in the video.
      Read: tasheel annahw تسهيل النحو
      It's in English, once you read it you will know the difference between particles and prepositions

      I think they say: particle .. and I read it like this in the books
