Not sure how far this Nationals team can or will go, however, dont sleep on that club. They have good young and scrappy talent.
Fundementals and consistancy is all thats needed to be competetive and in the hunt.
So does Boston if we could keep the IL from being loaded on a weekly basis

Being a tad bias as im not a Red Sox fan, i will say, they do have a decent roster with potential. What hurts them too besides injuries at the moment, is that they rely heavily on a guy like O'Neil to be this superman of a player. He isnt that type of of player. Hes a complimentary piece in a lineup.
If they had kept Duval while aquiring O'Neil, that wouldve been a better, more lengthy lineup. Devers is intriguing as i had a thought a few years ago that his success would be short term. *Lately*, hes looked incredibly horrible at the plate. I dont see that large, lengthy, almost 360° swing holding up long term. Remember Andruw Jones when he started falling off? That long, overkill, uppercut swing became too slow and he fell off.
I might be wrong, but thats how i see Devers at some point soon.
Trevor Story has turned out to be a nightmare. Noones fault there as thats just a gamble. His peak mightve been his last year with Colorado.
If they dont add anything at the deadline, its them, Jays and Rays pushing eachother around for 3rd, 4th and 5th... and no wild card because i think that might be the Central's this year. We'll see!
Good to see Corbin and Robles playing. Gotta be the last 2 players from the championship team??

If I was a Sox fan I would have gone nuts. Second and third with two outs and you shift your second baseman. I don’t care what the numbers say. That’s just terrible. You can’t let a routine out score two
