I am a Pashtun Chartered Accountant from Swat, the same Swat you mentioned in your podcast. Your efforts are very creative and offer a lot to learn. Language and culture are fascinating subjects, and I hope you will continue this endeavor. If you make a podcast on proverbs and idioms from different languages, I am sure the public will greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much for your efforts.

Heads off to you,you rememorized our culture .
Pashto is the language of warriors, the people with high self-esteem. Please be very careful with our language this is my request to pashtoons who are really pashtoon by blood.
I used to be pashtoon now live in European academia. Imagine a time when a vibrant new language was emerging from the heart of the subcontinent, a bridge language between diverse cultures and a testament to the power of human connection. Urdu, born of Persian, Arabic, and local dialects, began its journey in the bustling trading centers and capitals of the region, from Kabul to Calcutta.
Contrary to your limited understanding, Urdu's rise wasn't a fluke after 1947 but a natural evolution shaped by historical, cultural, and economic factors around 12th century. It wasn't just spoken by a privileged few; it was the lingua franca of the masses, a tool for commerce, education, and religious expression back in days.
In the 12th century, as traders and travelers from across the subcontinent from Kabul and beyond converged in Indian's capitals, a new language began to take shape. Urdu emerged as a blend of these diverse tongues, a reflection of the region's rich tapestry. It was considered just like english today a language of opportunity, a means for upward mobility, and a symbol of cultural exchange.
From the bustling bazaars of Delhi and Agra to Calcutta to Kabul and Kandahar the serene madrasas of Deoband, Urdu played a pivotal role in shaping the subcontinent's intellectual and spiritual landscape. It was the language of scholars, poets, and preachers, a vehicle for expressing ideas and inspiring hearts.
While Urdu may have faced challenges and evolved over time, its legacy remains undeniable. It is a testament to the resilience of language and the enduring power of human connection. So, before making unfounded claims, it's essential to delve deeper into the rich history of Urdu and the cultural context in which it emerged by the same economic muhajrs of time from persia , Afghanistan and beyond got settled around power centers / capital centers of invaders of the subcontinent now their own DNA cry about their language 😅😅😅 so funny !!

If you could create podcasts based on various books, it would be even better. These podcasts could explore the three major social waves that have shaped South Asia from 7,000 years ago to the present.
The first wave consisted of people from Africa who came to South Asia, particularly India, in search of hunting grounds. They settled here and became the indigenous inhabitants.
The second wave occurred several thousand years later when Arabs arrived and made South Asia their home, integrating into the local population.
The third wave came from Central Asia, with people migrating and settling in this region. During this period, we also see the early forms of the Rigveda and the beginnings of civilization in India, which led to the emergence of Hinduism.
You can find a lot of material from sociology and historical books to support this content.
They were zagrosians not arabs first wave 50000 saal pehle aayi second iranian farmers jo 9000 hazar saal bad namudar huwe Or Dravidians mein mix huwe third aryans
You people Google the answers and then claim that you are right and the other person is wrong. How easy is that, right? Just Google it and prove the other person wrong.
Oh brother, no one has records from fifty thousand years ago. These are all just theories, but we can make an estimate of how things might have happened in the past.

However, Pashto survived in Afghanistan and today the Taliban mostly read and write in Pashto. Soon Inshallah the Pashtoons below the Durand line will also join Afghanistan and Pashto will once again become a strong language in the region.

Pundit Jawahir Lal Nehru has written a really beautiful sentence in his book that “if you want to put an end to a nation or you want to destroy them take away their language from them”. Obviously language is an identity for any nation if you take away that from them and they start another language they become different their values become different their way of thinking become different.
