@@AbdulHadi-ex4ny that’s only in world cup and the second team has to go to play offs. For euros top 2 gets automatic qualification. And play offs are based on nations league. So if England or France don’t finish top 2 and come 3rd they’ll be eliminated because they both had terrible nations league results.
@@uzaidgurjee4798 france and england will only fail to qualify for playoffs if after failing to automatically qualify, four of everyone ranked above them fails to automatically qualify as well. The list is italy, netherlands, spain, croatia, denmark, portugal, belgium, hungary, switzerland and poland for france, austria and czech republic alongside everyone i mentioned for england.
So say that belgium, hungary, france, england and czech republic fail to qualify automatically, england would be the only one of the five who fail to qualify for the playoffs. Even then, depending on how league b and league c teams perform and how many fail to automatically qualify, league a teams may still snatch a playoff spot.
i will be rooting for italy as a moroccan, since my cousin is from italy

I need Norway to qualify now. The first game against Spain in march will be crazy
As a Hungarian fan, I am happy with the draw. No real big competition except for Serbia. With the way Hungary have been performing recently, like demolishing England 4-0, defeating them again 1-0, and beating Germany 1-0. I believe that Hungary have a chance of topping the group. But things can change and you never know what’s gonna happen in football.
As a Serbian I do believe it won't be very easy, however Serbia is far ahead of Hungary on the rankings but that shouldn't mean anything :) I also have Hungarian roots so I'm fine with whoever tops the group

Ideologically and historically (in last 100 yrs) nope, esp former Yugoslavia countries who were never part of Eastern Bloc nor Iron Curtain nor Soviet puppet countries. South Slavs were similar and different to those from Northern or more Eastern parts. Nothing to do with borders really.

Yes, group C is a group of death. There are 4 Euro 2020 finalists in England, Italy, Ukraine and Macedonia. It is difficult to predict who will go from this group to Euro 2024, because Ukraine can take points from both England and Italy, and Macedonia has already proved in the World Cup 2022 play-offs that Macedonians can play football in their stadium from the 2022 World Cup play-off.

Greece has a tough group, at least we are guaranteed a playoff spot after winning the group in the Nations League and promotion to League B. I hope for two good results vs. Netherlands and France.
The only problem in playoff for you has a name: Turkey! If Turkey passes in its group stage (that could be likeable, because a part from Croatia, the other team may not be a problem for Turkey), you are gonna have surely Kazakhstan and Georgia and then one of the turkish group in UNL I think (one among Luxembourg, Faer Oer and Lithuania). I don't know, could be easy for you going to Germany

Maybe England will have a chance of winning if Southgate gets another job like Manchester city or Liverpool manager because the FA think he's world class and will be snapped up in a heartbeat by one of the elite clubs of Europe.
southgate is decent, he has made us go further than england have gone in a very long time, i feel he just chokes and bottles when it comes to the really major decisions, like putting rashford and saka on penalties against italy. However he deffo has improved, see the game against france we actually played really well.
