Make sure your throttle limit isnt set to 78% in your DX5 Rugged because oddly enough that was what mine was at when i bound it to mine. I have 3 SRRs. My first one is pretty well trashed but still runs perfectly. The second one is more for lite thrashing than my first one. My third one is still brand new yet and i ordered the entire Vitavon upgrade kit for it. I also plan on getting a few other parts that either werent included in the kit or not offered by Vitavon. I'm not yet 100% sure what i want to do with itas far as ESC and motor goes. The Dynamite system that comes in the V1 is an excellent system but are now hard to find or very expensive. I was considering putting a complete Castle system in it with the sensored setup, but i dont 100% know yet.
Turned out to be a bad Rx. Pulled the one from my Fireteam and it works fine. Put the Mojave one in the Fireteam and it now has the issue. Tried it again in another rig and same results. All are same model Rx and all were bound and rebound same way. I am waiting to hear about a warranty replacement now. Should be ready for another video soon!
@@TheDudeRc Ohh. Well that sux. I did have a RC that got a bad ESC very early on in its life, cant remember which it was. Think it was one of my crawlers but i had intended on swapping it out very early anyways. Was just a little sooner than anticipated. For electric, the SRR has been my most faithful and fun RC to use. I still prefer the 5ive T though but the 5ive T sure isnt for everyone. Its very big. Lol. And heavy.
I keep thinking of getting one just to have one but I hear so many horror stories. How do you like yours? Also, I just slapped in a 19T gear in the SRR and will try to get another speed run this weekend. Its the same system in my SBR 2.0 and that thing FLYS! Its on a 24T pinion but its tires are much smaller than the SRR.
@@TheDudeRc ruclips.net/video/O8L_60iXlVs/видео.htmlsi=YtpbnU4aZYzggPf9 This is pretty normal for how I run mine. I love how the Lasernut handles! I slapped RPM skid plates on, just ordered the v3 bash collision kit. I’m have some RPM arms on stand by. All that said I have ran a dozen 4s 50c packs with NO breaks! I was worried too but I am very happy with this car. I did throw blue loctite on all the wheels and gave it an extra 1/4 turn with a real socket wrench after I could not tighten any more with the tool the car came with. I have not lost a tire yet. I have rolled the Nut quite a bit, I am not sending it 30ft in the air. Biggest issue so far is drivng on gravel, small rocks get stuck on the arm and grind away at the dogbone axles. I just check on it after a few laps now. The Super Rock Rey sold out, I grabbed the Lasernut for $349. I purchased two 4s packs in the hopes of grabbing an 8s SSR or Dbxle2.0 soon.
@@TheDudeRc I also saw all the horror of failures. That said I love mine, I have run a dozen 4 s packs with no breaks in all sorts of terrain. I have RPM arms on stand by but havent needed them yet. I put the RPM skid plates on. Before I ran the Nut I used blue loctite, hand cranked the wheels with the little tool it comes with , then extra easy 1/4 turn with a socket wrench. Let cure 24hrs before running it. I have not lost a wheel yet! I am putting the RC Bash Co front collision kit in this weekend to help with front nose landings and collisions, hopefully save that front Diff from an accident in the future. The U4 Lasernut handles very nice. With the 50c 4s lipos I have not seen a reason to upgrade the steering servo yet. A little throttle will pull it into tight turns no problem. The U4 Nut 🌰 s just big enough to travel with me easily and still tackle the terrain where ever I stop. I am also gonna bump up to 40 weight shock oil for all the non track quality terrain I usually drive it in. When you get one I’d love to see what you think! It is a blast and highly underrated in my humble opinion. I did post a bash on my channel also. 🤣 good footage but I lack the means for cool flashy editing.
Great run! 💯 I too just purchased one, still haven't ran it yet. Great looking rig though!! 🤩

Lasernut is the same, hitting 42 on 4s with gears from factory out of box.
