Love hearing your analysis of this performance. What continually amazes me about Dimash is that he doesn't sacrifice any of the power, clarity of tone, etc when he transitions from chest to head voice. The more I listen, the more I admire this young man's talent.
Love your reactions! And all that Dimash did was sing his heart out to his audience, he did not know you are going to analyse every note of him! He would love to hear what you have to say about his singing, I am sure.
I viewed the video on your drop box and enjoyed the heck out of it! When I saw that you were able to post again on RUclips, I watched again. I really do like how you separate the notes and break it down. It is not just a reaction, it is a review.... and a really good one at that. I am happy you did this song as it is my favorite of all Dimash’s performances. Thanks for doing what you do!! You made a subscriber out of me.
Yup -- that was Dimash holding his famous D8 note for over 5 seconds... 😃 [and no it's not a mic malfunction -- it's been checked and it is Dimash holding the D8 note] SIDE NOTE: Mariah Carey has a 5 octave vocal range (G#2-G#7) Now -- I'm anxious to hear you practicing for that note while walking along the streets - lol
nop, not possible. what's your education? please enlighten us about the source of your deepen knowledge. I'm just curious that you sure about vibrato, or you confused about tremolo and vibrato...
Thank you, thank you - love watching you react to Dimash - and I learn so much about the mechanics of what he does. Hope you will do more of Dimash concerts - they are epic! DKIFC/USA.
Bravo! Really enjoyed your reactions. Thank you for doing the normal voice trying to hit the hight notes like us. (nosebleed) Dimash voice is just out of this world. Replay n replay coz its so insanely- epic beautiful. 🙋🏻♀️🙏🏻✌🏻
Thank you Rached. Love your analysis of this performance. You've heard his now famous D8. You really understand just how difficult it is to sing clearly in high ranges.
He was definitely sick! You noticed that before singing D8, he planned to sing G after D, but at that moment his vocal cords just slammed shut (you know how it's happens when you sing with sick vocal cords), and the air could not pass to produce G (not sure what an octave it was, you know better). The second shaking of the mic, at the time when there was no sound 3:39, for me not only as a musician, but also as a psychologist, showed me his body language (I mean his second shaking of the mic), like he shakes his vocal cords to clear the way for the D8, and he nailed D8, saying to the nature "No! I will do it anyway! But even higher !!!" Because of that he is my real hero!!! Really brave and unfear man!!! We all know that it's too dangerous! Because of that we pray for him! Asking God to support him on his creative way!!!
Rashed really love your reactions..they are so detailed..Watching this I was thinking...yeah maybe there are other singers who can hit those notes singing this song..well apart if the dolphin sound...but I don't thing they can do it with these amazing tones, colours in his voice, tenderness simply I can't see anyone creating same sound.. employees..That's why I think he hypnotize the audience..it's not about hitting those notes..it is about using them so clever and so wonderfully. Thank you for your reaction.
He'll sometimes double himself for a backtrack in order to enhance the background singers [make it sound larger] since they can't always record with enough of the power or impact to fill the background vocals to match his belts or power notes (since he can increase the depth and strength of the notes so quickly) -- so it helps fill in the background so his live vocals blend with them, rather than completely overpowering them.
yes - its difficult for D to collaborate as the singer or performer with him has to match in some way eg the rap song with Victor Ma worked as Victor is a very powerful rapper so it worked for both singers. :)
As always thank you for another detail, enjoyable analysis on Dimash's vocal. Love this performance very much. Love to hear saying "need more practice..."
What Dimash has different from other singers is the ability to manipulate the notes ... he makes use of it with great intelligence. And it only has to improve with the years, so I believe. In my humble opinion is the most beautiful voice today, here is my request for subtitles in PT, I would be very grateful !!! Greetings from Brazil!
Димаштың даусын естіген адам,егер ол шынайы музыка маманы болса, байланып қалады. Абай атамыз айтқан «құлақтан кіріп,бойды алар» дауыс! Керемет!👍👍👍👏👏👏💟💟
FINALLY lol you see Dimash checking his inner ears and starting to whistle on the version of this song from the Singer but he aborted it because he didn’t think the mic could handle the whistle.
There wasn't any effect laid on the sound as it had been broadcasted live and many of us could watch it live through the Internet and on TV. The echo came from the speakers on the perimeter of the square. That wasn't in a hall, that was in the open air in Almaty. The performsnce was attended by as much as 150 thousand people! It was 100% live!
Thanks for your reaction, your explanations enriched and make what a wonderfull and out of this world talent Dimash is!!! One of the radio's here in Italy have talked to Dimash's vocal coach, Marat Aitimov, that Dimash exercised 8 hours a day, in the period he went to music school, it was 4 hours there and 4 hours home!!! So it makes you understand what a hard worker he is and this in everything, very disciplined and determination and persevere till he gets what he wants to reach... So we see and Hear the result!!! Good evening and greetings from Italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹😍😍😍💖💖💖🔝🔝🔝😘😘😘👌👌👌
....well...incredible that he can do a whistle that high....always amazed of that, but it's his singing...playing about with his voice..use of different singing techniqes and voice control etc. that gets my respect and awe :) Great analyse as always...like your insight into the details and down-to earth explainations ...understandable for even me ^^! thx!
All shared...one thing I especially like about this is you can see how he loves to interact with the Dears. This was one of the songs that makes me think his favorite interval is a major 6th. And the slide f-f# - did you miss that he actually ended with a quick "G" for the key change? DKIFC/USA
Thank you very much for your reaction. Could you react to his song "i only love you". It's very beautiful. And the end of the song will surprise you ;)
Once again, loved it! You should check out "daybreak" at Bastau! He also does another version of "Diva Dance". If you get a chance, love to see your analysis of the main vocalists in EXO (Chen, Baekhyun and D.O.). They performed a fun song at the Olympics, but there are some good videos that just focus on vocals from different songs. They did a live version of Journey's "open arms" on a t.v. show that has some great harmonization. Hope your mouth heals quickly😃
Hi, Brilliant breakdown Rached. There are a few videos where he whistles, the latest "Dimash - Diva dance- Shenzhen" only short video but worth a look !👌
oh thank you very much Rached! beautiful analysis, you have strong musical knowledge that's for sure and you start to know the capabilities of Dimash, I still think that we must also know the man, his character, his personality to know what he is able to do or not, he has too much respect for his audience and honor to resort to subterfuges, ok some echoes and perhaps a pre-registration in case, but I sincerely think that Dimash prefers to miss a song rather that to do the playback, I know it is very difficult to accept this miracle because it is a miracle this guy and we always look for rational reasons to things that are beyond us. I really love your analysis: precise and valuable, very professional and you are really "cool" like guys! lol ... I would very much like you to analyze "daybreak" at his Bastau concert. Thanks again. I also hope to meet you for more singing lessons in the streets! 💙💙💙DKIFC/France.
It is called a whistle note...not a note at all but a frequency often called a dolphin whistle because it is like the dolphin sound. Folks try to assign it a note, but it is not found on a piano so it can't be a note..
Your analysis are priceless, I love them. So detailed, full of knowledge, I can tell you admire him don't you? What would you ask/do if you ever meet him one day? I'm curious.
Can you react Dimash Беловежская пуща, I like this song very much, duet with Nagima Eskalieva, and thank you for your analysis as a vocal coach, You explain us so clearly😘
Dimash seems to pull out his really crazy whistles for big concerts to have fun. I think he knows trying to hit that D8 in a smaller space or on the Singer might sound a little abrasive.
Thank you for your analysis. It really helps me to understand this guy's singing techniques. He's been giving me headache for weeks...in a good way tho 😁 Thanks
Alcohol helps with your sore lip :) i always did want to know with these bigger and bigger venues and all the tech going on - how do they manage the quality of the sound for everyone at the venue......?
*FUN FACT!😂😆WE CAN SEE THE VEINS IN DIMASH'S NECK! AND MANY PEOPLE CAN THINK THAT HE WOULD BE "STRENGTHENING" BUT IF THEY KNOW HIM VERY WELL ... WOULD KNOW THAT IN PHOTOS OR HIM SPEAKING SOMETIMES "THE VEINS" FROM HIS NECK ARE FROM THE SAME WAY! SOOO IT'S NATURAL!* 😂😂😂😂😂😂🙄😌😛😆
Like Morissette, Dimash takes one side of his earpiece out when he’s about to go real high. He doesn’t do it as often as Mori does but some vocalist say they feel claustrophobic with both earpieces in & prefer to be able to hear themselves, venue, audience ect at least out of one ear! Dimash is such a gifted musician! LOVE HIM! Love Mori as well! Sending much ❤️ from the US 🇺🇸 to everyone around the world 🌎! I wish everyone a Happy holiday, if u celebrate Christmas 🎄Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 🎊 to all! Wish everyone a safe, healthy, happy, prosperous 2019!!!! Be kind & compassionate!
i really like your comprehension about all Dimash songs...i do not about the technic of sing but after listening to your analysis ..i become to understand little by little ..i really enjoy your analysis..thanks a lot
There was part when he move his mic on-off his mouth.. he did that to answer ppls who said that he did a lipsync thingy. I saw vitas did it too on some of his performances.
Later he wanna do it again on his high notes (i guess he attempted to do whistle since to produce it need so much control on air flow.. he will not produce any sound if the air flow too much or less).. but unfortunately no voice come out...but he come quickly with another attempt and fortunately he did it! Amazing singer.
Oh I just asked about that and now I've found the answer then... thank you! ;) But I'm not sure I understood very well the explanation... Do you think he wanted to do a whistle note while he was moving the mic at 4:36?
桑妮Sunny 桑妮Sunny he wanna show ppls that he not doing lipsync by moving his mic on-off his mouth was at 13:14 then he wanna do it again on whistle register but no voice come out (see part 1 ruclips.net/video/Qp4ve3GKDdQ/видео.html at 3:59). Sorry about my English hahaha.
桑妮Sunny my grandmother from French while I'm stay in Indonesia since i was born lol.. my father fluent in French and Dutch .. I'm not tho -_-". Lol. Nice guess tho ;)
You just did one of his best song. Hayek, you analyzed this more than the first time(during Singer) now you now why we say you have to go for this one, haha. After going through so many reactors this past month, I wanted to tell you, I still put you on top as you really breaks down the song so I, a non music person, can understand what happens in the song. Tumbs up and keep it up. May I ask if you had done any singers singing "You raise me up"? What appreciate you do one...I need to learn that song by next January for my Grandmother's birthday. I'm like Dimash, raised by my grandmother and aunties (my mother was overseas most of the time)
You should look a the harmonics analysis done by Creativa Mente. Dimash doesn't only control notes, colours, registers, placement, he also controls which harmonics he's activating!
In this live of Gakku, I still wonder what happened to the sound at 4:36 (you skipped that part right), why we cannot hear his voice while he's doing the movement with the microphone?
He did sang a part there. It's probably too high for the mic to catch but in this vid here you can hear that part: m.bilibili.com/video/av15131529.html?spm_id_from=333.338.__bofqi.34
hi! can you pls. react tnt boys individually..... tnt boys feat Mackie Empuerto - The start of his career tnt boys feat Francis Concepcion - The start of his career tnt boys feat Keifer Sanchez - The start of his career
Dear Rashed, the next time if you'll have an angular cheilitis, just use a vitamin A capsule (just pierce the capsule and lubricate the corners of your lips with this oil), it helps a lot!!! Please, take this as an advice from a pharmacist ; )
Love hearing your analysis of this performance. What continually amazes me about Dimash is that he doesn't sacrifice any of the power, clarity of tone, etc when he transitions from chest to head voice. The more I listen, the more I admire this young man's talent.

Really love your reaction about dimash. I love it when you always said "so beautiful" for dimash's voice! Thank you for reaction! ❤
Thank you Rached for the great reaction. The whistle voice was really something.
You are my favorite vocal coach. Your understanding of music is a credit to your profession.
I viewed the video on your drop box and enjoyed the heck out of it! When I saw that you were able to post again on RUclips, I watched again. it's not inhalation. it's exhaled. and it is really controlled and full, even added vibrato and holded it.
then you know nothing jon snow, because it is not possible to do vibrato with reverse phonation.
nop, not possible. what's your education? please enlighten us about the source of your deepen knowledge. I'm just curious that you sure about vibrato, or you confused about tremolo and vibrato...
not salty, just thought reference to game of thrones would be funny here. :D and I think I explained the education part; not saltiness. ;)
Wrong, ~4,5 seconds. He starts from C#.
Thank you, thank you - love watching you react to Dimash - and I learn so much about the mechanics of what he does. Hope you will do more of Dimash concerts - they are epic! DKIFC/USA.

noraapex YEAAAAAAH!I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOOOU!😌😌
And don't forget "Unforgettable Day" was a song he wrote when he was in his teens
That's right. He wrote it when he was 19 years old. D8mash. 👌👏👍🙌
He doesn't care. He obviously thinks that it's all fake.
He recorded chorus/ harmony background only. To hear another whistle you can watch his performance in Astana with a song ‘tugan zher ‘ homeland...

I probably missed it, thanks
This note Does not exist on the key board , on the boiling kettle , maybe? but from Dimash's warmth.
It exists on violin.
thanks for analysis
Thank you very much for your reaction. Could you react to his song "i only love you". It's very beautiful. And the end of the song will surprise you ;)
Спасибо за реакцию. супер.
really like your analysis.. Very details..

notes are frequencies already. they are not different things.
Can’t watch Dimash himself just yet... so that’s y watching reactions... I need at least a bit of the vitamin D...

There was part when he move his mic on-off his mouth.. he did that to answer ppls who said that he did a lipsync thingy. I saw vitas did it too on some of his performances.

Regarding your name you surely can speak French, right?
桑妮Sunny my grandmother from French while I'm stay in Indonesia since i was born lol.. my father fluent in French and Dutch .. I'm not tho -_-". Lol. Nice guess tho ;)
He does the moving of the mic to show that he is actually singing and not lip syncing like a lot if people accuse him of doing

Tumbs up and keep it up. May I ask if you had done any singers singing "You raise me up"? What appreciate you do one...I need to learn that song by next January for my Grandmother's birthday. I'm like Dimash, raised by my grandmother and aunties (my mother was overseas most of the time)
😊😊😊😊😍😍😍😍😍👍👍👍
I got laugh together with you everytime you tried to copy him 🤣🤣🤣
You should look a the harmonics analysis done by Creativa Mente.
Керемет . 👍👍👍👍👍
As they've said, "Dimash has left the keyboard."

Dear Rashed, the next time if you'll have an angular cheilitis, just use a vitamin A capsule (just pierce the capsule and lubricate the corners of your lips with this oil), it helps a lot!!! Please, take this as an advice from a pharmacist ; )
Many people say that he strains a lot. Is true?
Strain is a vague term used by teachers. You should go by the sound. He sounds like a monster
