Flop comes 5-3-5. NO WAY!!! I check. MP bets the pot. Button folds. I go ahead and bet 2X pot. MP looks at me like I’m a sheep killin’ dog and folds. Thank you Jaman for the advice!!! 😜

You didn't play badly that aces hand. your hand shouldn't be enough for 3 streets usually so it's ok to mix it, keep the bluffs in and protect your checking range. if they would check behind turn you could have gotten another bet on the river..

Early position limpers don't like to fold to a single raise. I don't know if this means you should be making a larger sized raise, but it might. I am not a fan of the turn check on the first hand, but it is not a bad play. Tons of opponents will "pick up the ball" when you show weakness. Your max EV could easily be to check and call twice. If you are facing a monster you also minimize the damage. The downside is, of course, giving junk like 9d8d and other draws a free card. I really wish someone would go into an in depth explanation of how to make proper turn sized bets in spots like this. Should I bet big and blast out flush draws, etc. Or should I bet fairly small and put myself in a bind when a scare card comes on the river but also keep a lot of second best hands in. All things considered, this is a 2 street hand, so I would not sweat this one, especially since you are out of position.

Speaking of damp, were you in any of the casinos that started leaking the other day? I'm not sure how you good players can do long sessions. For me, 4 hours would be a middlin-long session, and would really start to wear on me toward the end. Maybe I just don't play often enough to build up endurance. I think that 52d hand is perfectly acceptable according to Brad Owens' revenge range chart.
I was at the Bellagio when it was leaking everywhere! That was wild. Trashcans everywhere, trash bags covering the tables… but the Poker does not stop! Even armed robbery does not stop Poker at the Bellagio!

If he’s limp reraising that wide, it’s likely he was planning on shoving no matter what the board was. He just happened to hit the set, and you got unlucky that you had a hand good enough to call. If you flop top pair and he doesn’t hit his set, you would stack him. Of course it depends if you’d seen that guy capable of doing crazy things or he had the image of a nit who would only do that with an overpair
Normally you don't really see enough of a sample size in a single session to categorize anyone accurately. There are exceptions obvs, like a guy just going nuts every hand... I played a session a couple nights back where I literally had 3 hands that were playable over 4 hours and I played a session a month ago where I think I played 80% of the hands over 2 hours. 😂 A 5 hour session where a person might see 100-150 hands just isn't enough 😔
Bets are normally sized by your position and the range of hands your representing. Percentages change in single raise pots vs 3 bet pots vs 4 bet etc... And change drastically in position vs out of position

In your first hand I don't mind that play at all, there has to be some checks in your small blind range, and it also allows your opponent to bluff. Honestly I would probably do that more in tournaments though. I do think the majority of the time that 9 doesn't chance much, and your building your pot trying to stack Kq,kj,k10,k9, or some draws. Tips from a 10/25 player, so you know I'm good. To clarify, 10cent/25 cent player.
I agree with the sometimes and I'd be fine with the play had I randomized the check. It's a low frequency play, but still viable. My issue is, if I'm being honest I didn't randomize it 😂. I just snap checked 🤦🏾♂️

on the first hand, AA on Kc75c9, AA is strong enough to check raise. if you're never checking strong hands then you're very easy to play in position.
