Hi Charan, as a test enginner, in a devops process your role with be to interage test execution with upstream and downstream processes like after a build on the QA env, your test execution job should get triggered and once it is successful it should trigger the next job, may be deployment to next env.

Hi Charan, the role can differ with organizations, Genreally DevOps engineer takes care of server configurations, CI, CD pipelines, Integrations etc

Most important role will be to integrate testing process, jobs seamlessly into the ci/cd pipeline. Also selecting automation and ci tools (in case not already used) Knowledge on Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet will be extremely helpful
