    Hi, what is the best way to get a confirmation email sent to my already existing customers that have placed orders in the past? So sort of like importing previous customers.

    Does this email system with with Shopify also?

      currently it only integrates directly with Etsy, but you can certainly send people over to your shopify store.

    I know that Etsy sends out emails like "Thank you for your order" and shipping info when an order is completed, so is there going to be duplicate emails sent if you are using a third party to generate emails to customers on an email list? Or can you turn off Etsy's auto generated emails in favor of the third party emails instead?

      The other emails would be coming from YOU the seller and actually allow your customer to respond with issues, so there's no need to worry about duplicates

    Great video, Scott! I have a question about cohesiveness. So let’s say I am planning to open a POD shop for dog lovers with POD items related to multiple breeds like t-shirts, mugs, blankets, tumblers and sweatshirts…so in this case should I rather open only a POD apparel shop consisting of t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts (cohesive items) instead of a mix of all sorts of pod items like apparel, mugs etc being in the same shop?

      A mix of items is actually ideal as long as they are all something that might be interesting to the same buyers. In your case, someone who likes dogs

    Curiosity - when these emails go out using the Everbee system, what domain is being shown as who it's coming from? Email from the shop owner is definitely better than from Etsy itself, but how is it being represented to having come from the shop owner - ie, sender email address shown to the recipient? Is that a configuration option in the setup?

      it's shown as coming from you and is able to be responded to at your email address.

    Are you able to specify certain campaigns to create mailing lists for different product lines? For instance, I have physical items and printables -- I wouldn't want to say for the printables that I've received the order and will prepare and deliver it because it's an automatic delivery, but I would want to send a message to explain how to download the printable if they're having trouble. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to send that email about how to download a digitial item to someone who purchased a physical item. Even though there will be some crossover between the digital products and the physical products in terms of customer types, I would also like to be able to create and send campaigns for physical items, for digital items, and then for both physical and digital items.

      Digital Product orders are sent the order confirmation and a follow up asking the review at a time period you specify. They are not sent the shipping stuff, since that wouldn't be relevant :)

    Doesn't the customer then get double the amount of email ?
    When I buy, I am only concerned with the email stating the order has shipped. Nothing is more annoying that multiple seller emails. And I never join 'preferred buyer' lists.

      Not everyone needs to or should join the list, but the people who choose to are going to be your best customers...now and in the future.

    So I'm a new etsy seller as of end of July. I started out as just digital but started dabbling in print on demand and may end of being mostly POD. But I wonder how the email list works with digital purchases?
    So if you use the EverBee email feature, and it sends the confirmation email and it says another email will be sent when the item is shipped, won't that be a little weird on a digital purchase where the buyer accesses the download right away? Does the buyer get all emails (confirmation, shipped, received) at once on a digital download purchase?

      For Digital products the send a purchase confirmation and a review request later on, none of the shipping related emails.
      And no, they don't all go out at once...you can set delays on the review email for when you want them (or don't want them ) to go out.

    Is there a way to send offers to people who have previously favorited an item in the past? I just setup an offer code to be sent for favorited items going forward, but nothing has been sent to the ones who have favorited prior to that. Thanks

      Unfortunately, the internal triggers are not retroactive.

    Not a fan of the permissions you have to give Everbee for this. They will be able to see, edit, and delete everything in your shop.
