If anyone sees this, USE BAIT AND SWITCH EDGE TRANSIT!!! seriously it is very good against caretaker and planets, me and my team use them constantly and always tell lfgs to use them.
The main reason it's been good this week is the void surge that's active... we'll see what the surges are for the next one, eg if it's strand & solar cataphract will be your best option
@Luketheduke12 technically GLs are better overall than rockets (except for surrounded crux/apex), but yeah if you're not using parasite for atraks that's just throwing xD
Our issue was people not crouching when they had nobody in front of them. Pretty hard to not move around to find a spot where i wouldn't hit our Titan's back.
For Golgoroth, the gaze takers can run tractor cannon to both debuff the boss, and to suppress the invisible minotaurs that will annihilate you otherwise. For Caretaker, only have one runner in the room at a time, as the pervading darkness will stack up so quickly that you will need to take a break before going back in anyway. No sense having both runners sitting around waiting to go back in. For Explicator, completely kill the tormentor before killing even the centurions, as having to deal with a tormentor while fighting the colossus or doing the mechanics will make everything unnecessarily harder. For Atraks, have one titan save thundercrash for final stand, and give them scanner. Even while 5 light under, Atraks' final stand still gets 1-shot. For all of them, run mountaintop. It's so good for ad clear, boss damage, and movement, especially if you have auto-loading on it.
For the Planets Encounter, the Tormentor that spawns is not considered a boss! So it can be suspended, blinded, suppressed etc etc, and he de-spawns when damage starts. So if someone is running a tractor cannon you can just keep him suppressed until damage starts and not even worry about him!
Tip for Atraks: Just ignore the Tormentor. Kill the bottom 3 Servitors, grab Operator and just book it to the elevators. If you leave it alive it'll eventually teleport upstairs when final stand activates but upstairs has so much room it can't even touch you. This will be more useful as the weeks go on and the activity gets harder. Don't waste your revive tokens and ammo killing a Tormentor when you can just bait it away slightly and then juke it.
If anyone sees this, you dont even have to kill any of the servitors downstairs. Grab operator and then everyone goes up. Keep a servitor alive up and kill it when damage up top. That way tormentor doesn't even spawn. If no one phase send scanner down with one other maybe to kill the atraks clone and go back up for the rest.
Fun fact: the fire tornadoes that spawn on the plates at explicitor orbit the three planets, meaning if you stand in the center part of the plate you are perfectly fine (from the tornadoes no the adds)
I had to trick an Lfg group into thinking I wasn't an absolute newbie who didn't do any of the raids to actually try pantheon. We ended up doing a 6 HOURS RUN, and we got platinum on Kakarot and Atraks, and I did most damage on almost everything AND they invited me to the clan even when I told them I had lied. Honestly, I was anxious af joining lfgs because I've heard some horror stories and I can't talk the talk when it comes to English, especially with having to learn every terms and abbreviation and shit, plus ut being my first time on every single encounter and having to switch roles continuously because the others kept dying. Ended up having a very nice experience, getting my touch of malice, the banner (hell fucking yeah) and finding a group of people to raid with. Loved it
My Pantheon tip list: - For Golgoroth if you’re a gaze taker, axions hurt infinitely more than a Minotaur. I used a demo auto rifle on stasis so I coldsnap with osmiomancy to freeze Minotaurs and keep the gun reloaded because axions spawn in groups of 4 and very rapidly. For a Titan, I’d guess you would have mini hammer and a pugilist weapon to 1 bonk Minotaurs and keep gun reloaded. Used cataclysmic for heavy since you’re not really gonna head in for damage. Also good Minotaur takeout weapon when you’re not gaze holder. - Planets. Sunbracer warlock for ad clear and have team on healing grenades. Planets both for dps and mechanic are unforgiving if people die. A good sunbracer warlock can keep restoration up forever on the ads and even face tank the boss’ stomp attacks. Phoenix dive and heat rises keeps you from being flung in directions you can’t recover from. Your 2nd ad clear needs precision weapons to handle anything your sunbracer warlock cannot such as the tormentor. If need be have a 2nd warlock. Your first warlock gets their super so fast they can abuse their well as a glorified rift. Also PLEASE, when dps ends, do not run through the plates, run inbetween them. Boss sends a fire tornado to each plate periodically. - Atraks. Same deal. 6 to the top and 1-phase with Parasite. IF, that fails: Send your scanner and 1 other down the elevator and use your special to cross the damage threshold on dps 2. Bonus person gets hair ball and goes up while a replacement bonus person comes down. Send scanner up via terminal for dps 3, then send scanner down again for dps 4 which is the last one before dps stops. Once damage is over, everyone should re shuffle to their original position with scanner coming up with final hair ball.
My teammates who were running symbols at caretaker said that the bees inside the symbol puzzle increase your pervading darkness stacks if you get hit with them, so just heads up for you runners. Also: hotswap to lament after the parasite/thunderscrash combo, you'll get the kill on the first replication in final stand!
As a fun thing me and the LFG that cleared it did was for caretaker For the first floor (and the first floor only) you can send both runners in at once, grab 6 symbols and have an ad clearer let you out. Then, wait a second and have one of them go get the last 3. This Doesn’t work for any other floor, but saves a ton of time and cuts off some ad clear spawns! Get used to trying to 2 floor caretaker. It feels that is going to be the requirement since the symbol phases take a WHILE. Also, run heavy ammo finder and scout. Goes a long way for both you AND your fireteam
I have finally been able to get eyes of tomorrow after 4 years of deep stone crypt. I have never felt better. Also great video it’s always the highlight of my day to see a new toadsmoothie vid.
I mainly watch you not just cause I enjoy the goofiness you guys have or the content in general but I know I’ll never get a fireteam that I’ll be able to do all this with
Honestly, having Pantheon rotate around a few times per season seems like a great way to do it. Give everyone time to practice and prepare their schedules for when it comes around next, instead of being in "lfg hell" like a lot of other endgame activities can be.
for atraks use night hawk goldy if your on hunter and pop it right before your going to shoot and get ready to fire when your counter says go and if your lucky you wont have to use your parasite and youll have to for final stand ive hit 999,999 on it so its just luck
what fuckin parasite, you are retarded like rest of them, dont you see void and strand overcharge, free 25% damage to your 22% from 3 void surges. atraks you do with 6 titans, thundercrash with 5 and 6th for last bar
what an idea. a pantheon event every season where we go through contest mode runs of varying bosses, randomly assorted each iteration of the event. I like that
Idk if you’ll see this but for pantheon my team found that leaving the tormentor alone is best. It despawns during or after damage phase. Happy raiding!
Tips for Pantheon Golgy- have the galze holders use tractor as they wont be doing much dmg anyways Caretaker - recommend runners are hunters with eager edge and for dmg use luck pants and nighthawk Explicator - Make sure the tomentor drops fast, use luckypants hunters or forerunner to drop em fast Attraks just one floor with parasite
A tip on Caretaker I've seen a few raid teams not know about - on the 2nd and 3rd floor, the nodes to open the doors open ALL of the doors. So you don't have to shoot whatever specific door your buddy is coming out of, you can shoot any of them and it'll let him out.
Pantheon has honestly been really good. While I do raid a fair bit, I rarely ever get to do them on master difficulty, so being able to get raid adepts that I otherwise would probably never get (like the kf adepts) without having to do master challenges is great. I also finished a couple red borders I was still missing.
Some tips for Pantheon: Communicate it do be important. Golgoroth: Make sure to have one person (damage dealer) running bastion since it oneshots the unstable light orbs (depends on distance so try to stand directly below it). If you don't 1s it communicate with your team so they help out with their primaries to save special ammo for proccing BnS. Gaze holders should both run tractor to debuff the boss right after getting his gaze (just run past him and drive by tractor him) Caretaker: Stun Team - Glaives are actually really good to tank his damage while the other stun player clears the taken phalanx (edge of concurrence is really good to pop their arc shields / Vexcalibur to get an overshield) Explicator: Planet bois should stand between plates where they can spawnkill the psions and Incendiors while avoiding the fire tornados. (arbalest/conditional makes quick work of the Colossi) The Tormentor can be ignored he will despawn as soon as someone steps on the first damage plate. Atraks: Surges DO NOT work against Atraks so pick surges for your clear weapons (indebted kindness is amazing). You actually CAN debuff her with an echo of undermining grenade so if you have a warlock make em throw one before shooting your Parasite. Also get radiant (25% dmg buff) before shooting your Parasite via a hunter radiant dodge/knife or smth similar. OR blessing of the sky (35% dmg buff) from boots of the assembler [empowering rift] warlocks (if you actually have more than 1 warlock for this encounter). After shooting Parasite swap to lament (till you get more ads to stack Parasite back up again/during final stand) Aeons are great to generate heavy during ad phase so you won't run out of heavy either Ignore the tormentor and as long as you dont pop his shoulders he will be a good boi
Some important pantheon tips/ general tips: 1. You can only have 1 dragon's breath. The bulk of your damage comes from the scorch and the ignitions, and only one person gets them if you have more than 1 dbreath. 2. You can only have 1 pyrogale (same reason as the dragon's breath) 3. When fighting atraks, parasite first and then pop your super. then immediately swap to lament. It is much better for final stand/if you dont clear her on the first dps phase. 4. abuse surges. 25% damage boost is nothing to scoff at, and can help greatly. We had void and strand surge this weekend, which was incredibly helpful when using cataphracts/edge transits. 5. abuse seasonal mods. heart of the flame is incredible for any solar hunters/titans. 6. Rocket sidearms cook during planets. They are decent against the centurions and the tormentor. 7. do not be afraid to run double special. armor charges are very easy to come by, so youd most likely be topped up on ammo with special finisher. 8. If youre struggling with ammo, one cenotaph or aeon user is incredibly helpful as there are a lot of yellow bars in pantheon.
Just a small thing to add, to get the adept weapon from an encounter you need to get platinum score, it's not just about the time. Me and my team 2 floored caretaker and had around 2 minutes left, but we didn't kill ads on the 3rd floor since we skipped it and didn't get the platinum score.
For Caretaker, instead of remembering the symbols, if your brain is the size of a pea like mine, just have you and your other runner shoot every symbol on the totem. It will register that you have three correct anyways and is honestly more consistent than shooting the right ones.
Final warning on a strand warlock worked really well for me. With half a clip it would melt the colossus on the Planets encounter. Thing did INSANE primary damage.
Hello. I don't know if this was said before but at caretaker there is a pretty nice glitch. When the runner gets out you can have 3 people shooting all the sides of the totem and it will automatically accept your offering. The only issue is that the runner must always shoot at least one symbol.
For Caretaker my team found it much more beneficial to stack our damage on the first two plates. By waiting around for the third plate we were losing valuable time on the plat timer, and by just trying to melt him as fast as possible we were able to push him to final stand on the second floor.
the real challenge of pantheon is finding actual teammates who know what they are doing. even when putting up a KWTD there be ppl who have never raided a single time in their life
I was on gaze, stun, and planets, and i used conditional finality for all 3 of those bosses. Works good for dps, and it shreds any yellow bars you might face
For caretaker gaze, I would strongly recommend strongholds with any sword. You take no damage from minos/balls. If you are comfortable hot swapping, you can swap strongholds for pyrogales while you do not have gaze and use your super.
Pantheon was my FIRST any Raid experience, and I loved it. Thankfully the clan is full of menaces so struggle was minimal. The upcoming pantheon scares me tho
Little thing for Atraks. Have Lament on hand for final stand. You may not have high enough stacks for Parasite and Lament will have just enough ammo to get you through.
Fun fact, you actually don’t need to take golgoroth’s gaze at all in pantheon and you don’t need to hit his chest with edge transit to do max damage to him, for this reason people have been able to trio/duo and even solo him
Concussive dampener resist mod does stack with the solar mod without diminishing returns like multiple solar resists. It also protects you against the Tornados since they are aoe. Just so you know
For those who struggle in planets because of the flame tornadoes Go for exotics that regenerate your heath (Karnstien armlets have saved me so many times as a warlock) or if you cant do that put on two solar resistances. Getting to the damage phase is more important than killing things fast. Remember that.
Also the flame tornadoes don’t hurt you if you stand on the short pillar in the middle of the plate, or if you’re just not standing on it. Best strategy is just to avoid standing there unless you need to swap planets.
I really loved pantheon. Especially the changes to Macrocosm were amazing. Throwing in a Tormentor and fire tornadoes made it way more interesting brought it up to the standard of the other bosses. It's also an amazing way for people to earn adept weapons in an actual fun way. Overall my team didn't really struggle with any of the bosses... besides Caretaker. Holy mother of god getting the platinum time on caretaker actually took a hot minute. We were in that encounter for nearly half an hour and even then we got it with 3 seconds to spare. But it's also even more exciting as our raid group has already started theorizing ways on better optimizing the encounter so we don't struggle as much on the higher difficulty pantheons. Anyway Bungie please don't make it a limited time mode and if you are please consider bringing it back regularly.
Tip for planets (from what I was told) don't use any dmg over time things because for each plate there's a timer and it starts when you damage him so most lfgs I've done have done a count down with nothing that does damage over time
The best way we found to get Platinum for caretaker was to two floor him (at least for the first week, not done week two yet). Like you said, save supers for 3rd plate, and don't get him to threshold before 3rd plate
I think I agree with your take on Pantheon being limited time. It's a really cool mode, but if it was permanent it would get stale, so rather I think they should make it an event like activity that releases before an expansion as a way to test your fireteam for day one, and as a way for people who are missing raid exotics to guarantee they can get them.
tip for atraks cuz i saw you were doin it this way, do parasite THEN thundercrash because if you do thundercrash then parasite you have to wait for your gaurdian to put up the weapon to fire which may just make the entire parasite shot useless
Honestly, you can cc the tormentor in explicator, as when damage actually starts he despawns! And as another comment said, BnS edge transit or even cataphract works wonders, as void and strand surge are active. There's also a damage buff that stacks with other buffs when you use class abilities, so using them when you have a moment during damage phases helps a lot too
Biggest pantheon tip is to run a BnS Ambitious Assassin Edge Transit. As a strand warlock I was pulling 7-8 million damage on Caretaker while my rocket teammates were pulling 3-4 mil
Here’s an idea for a video: take a new light / returning player, and make them manage a team through a raid, where the leader has never done the raid, and the other players have to follow the leaders commands
A little tip for Atraks: Have Lament ready to swap once you hit Final Stand/use Parasite. If you jump you do a slightly less damaging combo but it's way faster than it's ground combo and is fantastic for quick DPS bursts
Best tormentor advice I got is on planets have someone on add clear use their heavy/super to nuke that tormentor and on atraks just ignore it and leave it downstairs and just one phase atraks
i had the best lfg time in years from pantheon. Absolute hero's. our atraks runs was wild and fantastic. the winning run got us just shy of the final stand, like 1000 hitpoints. I was scanner so i rush down and switch to lament (the rest were still arguing that we were on finalstand btw). Rngsus blesses us with the atraks right in front of the lift, i only do a light swing to get into final stand. Rush up again the rest was like ' omg he WASNT in finalstand!!!' and then we wasted him. super fun. But it did take me 4 hours to find these guys.....
Pyrogale and Envious + Bait and Switch Edge Transit cooks all but Atraks, for her it's the usual Parasite with a Lament swap for final stand, I ran Scatter Signal with Overflow + Controlled Burst on the first two encounters and Mountaintop with Auto Loading + Recombination for the latter two and dealt 7.5 million damage on Caretaker alone, not sure about the other bosses bc we didn't wipe. Best of luck to all who try out Pantheon, it's really fun AND rewarding
Pro tip: switch classes. If your class isn’t cutting it for whatever reason (survivability, super damage, add clear), you can back out and change characters. For us that meant everyone went t-crash on atraks after being mostly golden gun hunters for the first 3 bosses
To be honest, pantheon is very fun and somewhat easy right now as a player who mostly just does raids and dungeons plus any other end game content, the only thing that I don't like is that some of the people that I've done lfg with only know how to ad clear and we have to teach them on the spot or just kick them, so I wish that more people would at least learn 1 important role for the encounter(s), I also wish that more people would know/have the weapons/armor/subclasses that deal the most damage and that are effective, as most of these said forms of damage are very f2p thanks to wish tokens and into the light with onslaught. But yet these are only things I WISH people would do/learn, over all though it gives some returning people an easier chance to get red-borders and adept weapons (I still don't have all red-borders, I'm not that hardcore). My overall rating is about a 8/10, but it might go up in the future.
3:25- Tony, my beloved. Also, for getting platinum for caretaker basically requires you to two floor him. Doing the strat to unload on the 3rd plate is 100% the key. Don't forget about surges and popping your class ability gives everyone extra damage (stacks up to 3 times).
Our lord and savior Tony has returned from the deeps of Master Crota’s End. Just wanted to bring that back. Pantheon is a lot of fun but a real challenge indeed. Wish I could offer tips but I got nothing.
I heavily enjoyed Pantheon. Did it with a group that does "helps" (basically was carried through it) then tried it with some friends but really couldn't get the damage off/stuff going well. And eventually had to give up. Makes me wish I had a more concrete group of people willing to run Destiny 2 stuff with, but that is just how it is.
I just love getting adept weapons. My group raids enough to do normal stuff, but we don’t do many master runs outside of single clears for the triumph or vog specifically because timelost fatebringer is awesome. So I didn’t really care about the baseline loot, I’m a descendant who has everything crafted from raids that I’d really want and has even done a raid flawless, but finally getting a good harrowed zaoulis and adept ron guns is awesome :] I think there’s something there for everyone in pantheon outside of the top 1% who already have everything done, and even then, tons of free spoils!
two things to help in planets you can blind tormentors till dps they will despawn, atraks my tip is use parasite then swap to lament for dps worn cannon only good for first shot cause has the x20 stacks.
In Microcosmos you don't have to kill the Tormentor. He leaves when damage starts and until then you just have to ad clear and watch that you don't get grabbed.
For atraks i’d recommend you to actually shoot parasite first before t-crash so that your damage arrives pretty much instantly, atraks’s damage time is goofy as-is so shooting thenparasite that late will fuck it up sometimes
Dude your team did it faster than us by a whole hour lmao. Also a quick tip for Explicator is that the tormentor disappears when damage starts. For Atraks-1 try shooting the Worm first then do T-crash so the animation from coming out of the super doesn’t waste damage time. Very nice video tho
I would 100% recommend just ignoring the tormenter in the Macrocosm. If you just leave him alone and don’t shoot him he’ll despawn before damage starts, if you have an extra solar warlock with well, after the buffs have been deposited in the mid, go to where that rally flag was and pop it while you wait for damage. 👍 Saved a couple of me and my team’s platinum runs
The tormentors aren’t major bosses, you can just freeze or suspend them, and you planets they de-spawn after every damage phase so you can pretty much ignore then at -5 power
I day oned pantheon with homies in thd Discordand also replaced toad once whel he had to go to work ducks drip was emaculate and he said it right back love the community in thd
I did my run today, it was last minute but why would I have been playing Destiny 2 this week when Remnant 2 got a DLC? I just wanted the emblem because Atraks is such a cool cuaracter concept. I did it with LFG, Golgoroth went really smoothly and we got it first try. Caretaker took us a few attempts but after the rest of the team woke up and realised Levvy is the GOAT, we pulled through, just missing platinum. Explicator is where we had trouble, my teammate and I doing the bottom mechanics were acting pretty flawlessly minus a few tornado-related incidents, and the ad clear was doing alright apart from one of them repeatedly getting too close to the boss and getting booped every time. The issue was with top plate, they just kept dying and missing the first window, on top of that we had an obnoxious guy intent on blaming everything else for his repeated failures, he didn't understand the callouts but refused to listen when someone tried to explain it, he was also very toxic when his partner made a mistake but got very defensive when anyone called out his own. Had I been the fireteam leader, that guy would have been booted. Eventually we forced him to switch with us and gave him the easier bottom plates while my teammate and I did the top, three runs later, we went from never even making it to damage, to finishing the encounter platinum, this was after more than an hour of no progress. Finally we got to Atraks, I was a bit irritated that the guy who was throwing before decided to take it on himself to teach the rest of us the encounter despite nobody asking. He also insisted on being scanner, and to his credit he actually did alright at it once he explained he was not running to the real Atraks, and we cleared it pretty quickly. You get all sorts on LFG, but I can't really complain, my partner for explicator was great and the rest of the team was pretty solid too. Besides, I ended up finishing the patterns for bequest and commemmoration so it was worth it.
Only tip I have that really doesn’t matter but you can do if you are just edging atraks and need that literal 1 more dps is you don’t even have to kill the bottom floor servs so you can just have 5 up 1 down, but you can kill them if you just want peace of mind. Also another tip is just have fun and don’t stress. I did it with lfg so anything is possible lol
What me and my team were doing for Atraks one shot if we didnt get him to final phase on the first damage and had to go back downstairs we would switch off of parasite to our edge transits during the elevator ride and oh my god edge cooks Atraks so quick. So that strat definitely helped for consistencies sake.
big tip for atraks, no debuff works on her other than the 15% void weaken, so either a smoke bomb, undermining grenade, or solar ability with that one artifact mod will make things much easier
Smoke bomb doesn't debuff Atraks only the Echo of Undermining grenade does. I'm not sure about the Solar weaken effect since i've never tested it myself.
Class warfare makes all the difference between a win and a wipe (get the class warfare buff by using your class ability) usually best to do it right before damage phase
For anyone still doing Week 1 Pantheon, remember to use class abilities before damage to activate Class Warfare (increases damage for all team members when a class ability is used, stacks to x3) It is a significant boost and stacks with all other buffs, so please coordinate with your team to use it! (Class Warfare may not be available after Week 1)
For atraks once you shoot your first parasite shot swap to lament for the remaining damage dealing as it will do better burst than an uncharged parasite
for me it has been great Pantheon is a great idea and i also love the fact is limited for a short time... i know FOMO and everything but that's just normal MMO thing if an event happens and you missed it... you did so i'm fine with it
Use weapons for damages that match surges like week one edge transit was amazing I think rockets will really good for planets next week and then most likely wisper of the worm for oryx if it’s solar surge
Pantheon was a fun challenge for my team of chucklefucks (until having 3 warlocks for Atrax did horrible things to us) and finally got me eyes of tomorrow.
Caretaker Tip: If you want to get the time trail for caretaker you have to get him to Final Stand on the second floor. My team tried countless of time's otherwise but it didn't work. Hope this helps! PS: If you uncharged melee the taken phalanx shield before it boops you, you don't go flying. ;)
The 2 floor is the most consistent way to get plat score, but I've gotten a 3 floor plat caretaker. Your runners just have to go very fast and start running right away when you get to the next floor.
Hey toad, I need you to trust me on this one. When you’re doing caretaker, use everything on the first and second plate. I know the usual is use heavy on first, primary to weaken him a bit on the second, and then unload again(pause) on the third. If you push him on the second plate, not only will you get the bonus easier, it will make everything run smoother instead of everyone scrambling around. Also, USE YOUR CLASS ABILITIES!!! That’s a free 20% damage buff to you and your teammates if you get 3 stacks of class warfare. Happy raiding FrogMilkshake!
Maybe they can keep pantheon a permanent mode but new stuff every season like, entirely new loot drops and such. Maybe some seasonal challenges too. I'm always a fan of boss rush in games so this was a nice addition to d2
For care taker run lumina buff + as many nighthawk hunters as possible + 2 wells (first and second plate well up hunters pop outside of well) with ether the cataphract or edge transit. Very very easy 2 floor.
if ur using burst damage super on atraks use parasite first then super. if your team is struggling to get up in the time from the bottom just ignore servitors and focus on getting up top. damage starts automatically at 5:57
Personally I could see Pantheon being available for every year's moments of triumph in order to guild the Godslayer seal. Similar to other things like the dawning or fotl.
Honestly, Pantheon for me is a way to get the weapons and armors I wouldn’t be able to get otherwise without doing the entire raid
Fr
Fr, i dont even have RoN and now i have a perfect shotgun
Me too
It let me get my dsc sword and out of my spoil debt
But why not just run the raid??
If anyone sees this, USE BAIT AND SWITCH EDGE TRANSIT!!! seriously it is very good against caretaker and planets, me and my team use them constantly and always tell lfgs to use them.
The main reason it's been good this week is the void surge that's active... we'll see what the surges are for the next one, eg if it's strand & solar cataphract will be your best option
We used rockets on the first 3 encounters and parasite for the last one and it worked just fine.
@Luketheduke12 technically GLs are better overall than rockets (except for surrounded crux/apex), but yeah if you're not using parasite for atraks that's just throwing xD
Just use apex. Edge is only good for this week due to the mods
@@TomahulkI was using edge for a final stand phase and pumped a mil out real fast with no super up
Here’s a pro tip:
When you’re standing in a Well of Radiance for a damage phase….
DON’T STRAFE IN THE FUCKING WELL
no shit dip dick i wasent the one fucking strafing in the well the one who was blames me
🙏
pro tip, every encounter exept for oryx desponds the tormenters on dps phase
It's so good for ad clear, boss damage, and movement, especially if you have auto-loading on it.
you can ignore the tormentor because it it goes away when boss damage phase happens thats how my group got our 15 min clear
@@histaniiok, i'll take that
For the Planets Encounter, the Tormentor that spawns is not considered a boss!
I don’t think it will be viable as week goes on, cause you gotta remember it’s gonna be -20 light week 4
@@Ihatethunderlord More viable than killing a -20 Tormentor
If anyone sees this, you dont even have to kill any of the servitors downstairs. Grab operator and then everyone goes up. Keep a servitor alive up and kill it when damage up top. That way tormentor doesn't even spawn. If no one phase send scanner down with one other maybe to kill the atraks clone and go back up for the rest.
@@Ihatethunderlord it only scales per encounter not weekly
yess this strat saved my raid team last night. highly recommend
Apparently the hardest boss in the game is ad clear seeing how 0 of our lfgs can do it 😭
💀
Just hire me
It's all I'm good at😂
Fr
" There was so many cabal dickin around that i thought it was a gangbang" skeletor
Considering that I only have a single neuron and brain cell left in the empty bowl that is my head, ad clear is the only thing I can do
Fun fact: the fire tornadoes that spawn on the plates at explicitor orbit the three planets, meaning if you stand in the center part of the plate you are perfectly fine (from the tornadoes no the adds)
Loved it
My Pantheon tip list:
- For Golgoroth if you’re a gaze taker, axions hurt infinitely more than a Minotaur.
The how not to do series is peak d2 content
My teammates who were running symbols at caretaker said that the bees inside the symbol puzzle increase your pervading darkness stacks if you get hit with them, so just heads up for you runners.
Also: hotswap to lament after the parasite/thunderscrash combo, you'll get the kill on the first replication in final stand!
As a fun thing me and the LFG that cleared it did was for caretaker
For the first floor (and the first floor only) you can send both runners in at once, grab 6 symbols and have an ad clearer let you out.
I'm waiting for when we're forced to do Riven legit
I literally can't wait
Tip for atraks, you can flush the tormentors out the airlock like flushing a turd down the toilet.
I like that
Pantheon would be so much better for something like Guardian games if they were able to make a dungeon version so people who can't raid don't miss out
@@oxsila a dungeon version of pantheon would be really fun
Idk if you’ll see this but for pantheon my team found that leaving the tormentor alone is best. It despawns during or after damage phase. Happy raiding!
fr?
Guardian crease his Jays! is the most epic thing iv heard ever
Tips for Pantheon
Golgy- have the galze holders use tractor as they wont be doing much dmg anyways
Caretaker - recommend runners are hunters with eager edge and for dmg use luck pants and nighthawk
Explicator - Make sure the tomentor drops fast, use luckypants hunters or forerunner to drop em fast
Attraks just one floor with parasite
A tip on Caretaker I've seen a few raid teams not know about - on the 2nd and 3rd floor, the nodes to open the doors open ALL of the doors. So you don't have to shoot whatever specific door your buddy is coming out of, you can shoot any of them and it'll let him out.
After using the parasite once switch to the Lament for more dmg in the final stand
For caretaker, if you can do enough dps on plate 1 you can melt on plate 2 to save time. Good luck with the plats guys!❤
Pantheon has honestly been really good. While I do raid a fair bit, I rarely ever get to do them on master difficulty, so being able to get raid adepts that I otherwise would probably never get (like the kf adepts) without having to do master challenges is great. I also finished a couple red borders I was still missing.
Some tips for Pantheon:
Communicate it do be important.
Golgoroth: Make sure to have one person (damage dealer) running bastion since it oneshots the unstable light orbs (depends on distance so try to stand directly below it).
If you don't 1s it communicate with your team so they help out with their primaries to save special ammo for proccing BnS.
Gaze holders should both run tractor to debuff the boss right after getting his gaze (just run past him and drive by tractor him)
Caretaker: Stun Team - Glaives are actually really good to tank his damage while the other stun player clears the taken phalanx (edge of concurrence is really good to pop their arc shields / Vexcalibur to get an overshield)
Explicator: Planet bois should stand between plates where they can spawnkill the psions and Incendiors while avoiding the fire tornados. (arbalest/conditional makes quick work of the Colossi)
The Tormentor can be ignored he will despawn as soon as someone steps on the first damage plate.
After shooting Parasite swap to lament (till you get more ads to stack Parasite back up again/during final stand)
Aeons are great to generate heavy during ad phase so you won't run out of heavy either
Ignore the tormentor and as long as you dont pop his shoulders he will be a good boi
As a tip on atracks. For final stand switch to lement or bequest if surrounded is active. That should be better than falling.
For Pantheon Macrochasm, it's best to ignore and avoid damaging the Tormentor till the damage phase because it disappears during the damage phase.
Some important pantheon tips/ general tips:
1. You can only have 1 dragon's breath. The bulk of your damage comes from the scorch and the ignitions, and only one person gets them if you have more than 1 dbreath.
2. You can only have 1 pyrogale (same reason as the dragon's breath)
The only issue is that the runner must always shoot at least one symbol.
also a tip for caretaker is to make sure you have a radiant dance machines hunter so you can maintain your class warfare and just for every encountrr
For atraks if it comes down to a gamble, shoot the copy of atraks with rocket sidearm. If the health bar moves (goes down) that is the correct to burn
Or you can just run a glaive instead of wasting your heavy. Glaives are decent resistance
Just so you know
little tip in general for atraks, using parasite before using your super on titan eliminates the chance for you to miss her with the shot
For those who struggle in planets because of the flame tornadoes
Go for exotics that regenerate your heath (Karnstien armlets have saved me so many times as a warlock) or if you cant do that put on two solar resistances.
Getting to the damage phase is more important than killing things fast. Remember that.
Also the flame tornadoes don’t hurt you if you stand on the short pillar in the middle of the plate, or if you’re just not standing on it. Best strategy is just to avoid standing there unless you need to swap planets.
Just did pantheon today with a lfg and it took 3 hours everyone was nice best 3 hours ever
Tip for planets (from what I was told) don't use any dmg over time things because for each plate there's a timer and it starts when you damage him so most lfgs I've done have done a count down with nothing that does damage over time
Could be completely fake tho I get this info from lfgs and I learned the hard way don't wanna argue with them
The best way we found to get Platinum for caretaker was to two floor him (at least for the first week, not done week two yet).
After you use parasite swap to lament, also stacking the class warfare buff to 3x from using class abilities gives you a nice damage boost.
tip for atraks cuz i saw you were doin it this way, do parasite THEN thundercrash because if you do thundercrash then parasite you have to wait for your gaurdian to put up the weapon to fire which may just make the entire parasite shot useless
For pantheon caretaker to get time you want to actually 2 plate him because his third damage window got dwarfed when you hit threshhold
no you need to three plate him. in the video they were doing it correctly ; they just lacked in damaged and weren’t 2 flooring him
Yes 2 floor is the dream but the bonehead way is 2 plate 3 floor
My overall rating is about a 8/10, but it might go up in the future.
for caretaker, if you are running a strandlock, i used impulse vorpal mountaintop and anarchy and consistently hit 3.5 mil a floor
So I didn’t really care about the baseline loot, I’m a descendant who has everything crafted from raids that I’d really want and has even done a raid flawless, but finally getting a good harrowed zaoulis and adept ron guns is awesome :]
I think there’s something there for everyone in pantheon outside of the top 1% who already have everything done, and even then, tons of free spoils!
two things to help in planets you can blind tormentors till dps they will despawn, atraks my tip is use parasite then swap to lament for dps worn cannon only good for first shot cause has the x20 stacks.
Adhered to the surge’s as best you can it helps an unbelievable amount.
in conclusion
TONY
I dragged my solo playing-ass into pantheon because the rewards are too sweet to ignore
HOW TF DID YOU DO PANTHEON SOLO
Class warfare makes all the difference between a win and a wipe (get the class warfare buff by using your class ability) usually best to do it right before damage phase
For anyone still doing Week 1 Pantheon, remember to use class abilities before damage to activate Class Warfare (increases damage for all team members when a class ability is used, stacks to x3)
It is a significant boost and stacks with all other buffs, so please coordinate with your team to use it! (Class Warfare may not be available after Week 1)
BRO SWITCH OFF OF PARASITE AFTER THE FIRST SHOT TO LAMENT
THIS IS KILLING ME IN REAL TIME
For atraks once you shoot your first parasite shot swap to lament for the remaining damage dealing as it will do better burst than an uncharged parasite
for me it has been great Pantheon is a great idea and i also love the fact is limited for a short time... i know FOMO and everything but that's just normal MMO thing if an event happens and you missed it... you did so i'm fine with it
Use weapons for damages that match surges like week one edge transit was amazing I think rockets will really good for planets next week and then most likely wisper of the worm for oryx if it’s solar surge
The planets tormenter will despawn when you go into damage phase so you can just ignore it if you choose.
Definitely take advantage of the Class Warfare modifier for extra dmg and resist. Stacks with your surges too.
My best tip I could give for Pantheon is pay very close attention to the modifiers cuz they will carry you
Hey toad, I need you to trust me on this one.
Very very easy 2 floor.
if ur using burst damage super on atraks use parasite first then super. if your team is struggling to get up in the time from the bottom just ignore servitors and focus on getting up top. damage starts automatically at 5:57
also switch to lament or another sword after using parasite
On Golgy ,if u have unstable light,go near him for big dmg
Personally I could see Pantheon being available for every year's moments of triumph in order to guild the Godslayer seal. Similar to other things like the dawning or fotl.
