@@voidox viv for chief is what the lspd needs Beric has to be removed he has to. Unfortunately Beric is too jaded to continue and provide productive outcomes while viv is more willing and understanding as she knows different shifts have different cultures and they need the right people in place. Ruby might be good for shift 2 while sky would be good for shift 3. Shift 2 you are very limited on people to pick from

I feel like only cops with good driving skills should get the fastest car and should not be based on rank.
Highway patrol is actually a cool idea for dealing with faster cars. Imagine cops having to break off a chase to let highway patrol take over and the way crims could play around the dynamic of different jurisdictions. That said the city is waaaayyyy too broken at the moment and this is not the time to introduce something like this

From everything Soze said, BCSO isn't under the jurisdiction of the mayor of LS, but he is needed to be able to approve units for the BCSO?
And causing unrest from being able to use a vehicle that can possibly catch the crims? Seems kinda disrespectful to me but it's what the people voted for. Might be a reason people are leaving for BC..
Ban the BCSO and 60-70 percent of your cop force is gone from the city limits. Especially when LSPD cops jump ship to BCSO to join the fun department.

no bc there's literally nothing to do in the north as a cop. That's why the BCSO spends 95% of their time in the city and not in blaine County where they belong.
They do need the unit , but if that's the first thing they bring up to nino when he sees fundamental issues in the whole structure it does come off as abit of joke

Unfortunately, there is not much of anything to choose from. Personally I don’t see anyone currently in PD that can fulfill the job of Chief. Nopixel has suck a weak person problem in general.

BCSO should be Andi Jones' jurisdiction they shouldn't be bothering Nino for it.
As someone who has watched both perspectives, this is something they have been planning a while and this was a courtesy to incude the city in the planning.

He can't unless the state agrees; he really doesn't get what he can and can't do! The LSPD doesn't want that either. So he can try to throw his weight around, but it will negatively affect him, not the BSCO!
I think Nino misinterpreted what was said, but Beric doesn’t help because he’s so jaded that he has to be removed due to him not being open to anything. I like Beric but as chief he has to be removed and I do think the best option is viv because she is the most dedicated.

Nino totally misinterpreted Declan's proposal. He was only bringing up the idea. Beric being a Doomer shooting it down immediately and Nino echoing that Doomer mentality was understandable from Nino's perspective, because the LSPD is a mess, so timing was wrong from Declan's side, I think. But BCSO is an actually functiong department with good internal vibes that is trying to get stuff done and make the PD as a whole better, and Nino not recognising that is a bit silly imo. Either way we'll get interesting RP out of it
